If you want to a very clean and well taken care of car he has hand picked it for his lot. I felt better about my purchase because the vehicle I selected had every service done at a Lexus dealer according to the carfax. - The test drive process was very easy, he made a copy of my drivers license and off I went with Felix the sales associate. Felix was very knowledgeable and professional. I was allowed to take my time but also test the power of the vehicle. - I opted to finance with the dealer and it was great , the owner fought for me over the phone to get the best rate with my 670 credit score. He finances with Ally bank the largest auto lender in the US. - I was allowed to do a pre inspection with an independent repair shop or service department before purchasing that was made clear to me. This is a no BS dealer and I appreciate that. Here's the advertised price add taxes, license & registration and thats it. Ive been researching and calling/visiting dealers for weeks and its always the same thing .Here's our advertised price plus window tinting, nitrogen for your tires, doc fees, multiple security features No thank you. Give this place a try I enjoyed the process and would buy here again.

    The positive part of my experience with this dealership is my salesperson Danny went out of his way…read moreto be helpful. He even drove the car to their Santa Ana location for me to test drive. My disappointment began when I took my car to my mechanic to have it inspected. Danny sent me a picture of him standing in front of the car, up on the lift, and their mechanic inspecting the rear end of the car. See attached pictures and text. My mechanic put the car up on his rack and immediately determined this car had been in a severe accident which damaged the rear end of the car, that had been repaired and there were also many prominent areas of visible rust that had be growing for awhile. I was assured this car had never been in an accident and (you'll see from the attached pictures and text) assured it had been thoroughly inspected prior to my driving it. How frustrating and disappointing I wasn't informed by anyone at California Direct Motors of this obvious accident. So even though I would recommend Danny as a good salesperson, I can't in good conscious recommend this dealership. And I purchased my current car from another dealership. FYI- Danny's text to me Hi Christine this is Danny. Here are two pics of the car with me in there. Im having the car thoroughly inspected because i know that was a concern of yours.     I have 2 reviews to write. This one is in reference to buying my truck…read more I did A LOT of research on the truck I wanted. I also got pre-qualed from Capital One auto finance. If you walk onto any car lot (especially a used car lot) without knowing what you want and how much you are willing to pay for it, you are asking for a bad experience. Also, get pre-qualified before you go. You can do this without a hard pull of your credit. Now to the sales process. I asked for the truck specifically. No reason to walk around the lot. I already knew their entire inventory before I went, so again plan ahead. I was helped by the Sales Manager, Milad. He gave me the whole paper thing i.e. how much can you put down how much can you afford per month..all the standard car buying stuff. He came back a few minutes later with a totally hiked up price and terms. But don't get mad at them for this....that is their ENTIRE job! I gave him my bottom line offer. He came back a few minutes later and made another offer. At this time we both agreed to stop the back and forth and make the deal go through. He came down $165 dollars per month and I agreed to go $100 higher per month. I thought it was a totally fair deal. I didn't break my budget, and he didn't give the truck away for free. Yes, they add on vehicle theft tracking and window tint to the price and they won't remove it. Be expecting this. If you don't like it, go somewhere else. It's comes with a 30 day limited warranty so try and get a vehicle that still has the manufacturer warranty. If you buy outside of this, consider buying an extended warranty. However, do your homework before you walk on the lot. By the time you are there, it's too late for you to know what you're getting into. You are going to buy with emotion and not looking at it like a Business transaction, which it is. Milad wasn't able to get me better financing than Capital One, so I stuck with my prequal and original plan. All in all, I drove away in the exact truck I wanted in a little over 1 hour from test drive to ownership. BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! Thank you Milad and STG.

    I had my Porsche Boxster S for sale on auto trader for 52k. Jackson who works in the office offered…read moreme 48k and we agreed on 49,750. Lie number 1. Because we agreed on that price I took my car to sell it to them driving 30 minutes each way to get there. They kept me there 2 hours and came back to offer me 47,500. So right off the bat I was LIED to again. Then they offered me 48k and I left. I hate liars. So two hours later I get a call from the manager Klaus, saying the reason they changed the offer was because the transmission had a leak. Funny there's NEVER been a puddle under my car. Then they said the two back tires were different, big deal, they're expensive speed rated tires, a chip on the windshield (another LIE), and "many costly repairs" All total garbage to get the offer low. Jackson wouldn't even come out to talk to me. I was told that the repairs will cost too much to do so they're just going to sell it AS IS. What a crock of shite. This is classic bait and switch. I brought my car back the next day and sold it to them because I didn't want a hefty repair on the transmission which is very suspect. They low ball and lie. NO ONE came out to talk to me, not even Klaus. I'd call that UNPROFESSIONAL... BAD customer relations. I brought an important document of MINE for them to COPY not KEEP, instead Sammy kept it. I need that back by the way. Will I get it? Probably NOT. Fits in with the rest of my experience here. I would say, BUYER BEWARE. I read other reviews before going and they're very bad, (good thing I wasn't buying anything). I can see why. The best customer service there was their free soda. They have nice cars and a LOT of vultures, sales people, on the lot. When I got home I had a text asking me to remove my bad reviews. So I changed them with brevity in mind. I am waiting for the check to clear the bank. I don't trust LIARS. I would NEVER recommend this store to anyone because I was lied to. Look at the other reviews to see how they treat buyers and decide for yourself. I feel sorry for the person who buys the Porsche because they said they're not going to fix anything they had issues with. AS IS BUYER BEWARE. Shame on you STG for your shady business practices. I would NEVER buy a car from you. This is based on my experience and their bad reviews. I've owned a lot of cars in my long life and STG ranks up in my top 3 WORST auto dealers. My suggestions: better customer service and less time on your computer, dress professionally, don't walk around VAPING, stay with your customer during the transaction and don't lie to customers. I'll never return. Now they're selling my car as is with all the issues. BEWARE OF THESE CROOKS. IT DOESN'T HAVE A SECOND KEY

In other words I truly wanted this review to be full of truth of experience and worth. Couple of things I was worried about. Buying a Car off Holt. Lets be honest there are not a lot of things that I have known that are good to buy off Holt other than street tacos. Not exactly the place I would think I would have an amazing customer service experience with great people and great product. Steve, and the Team here is what I would call Magnificent. I was not exactly what you would call an easy sale. I was also a bit strangely organized financially because of my type of business so I proved to be a bit of a challenge for them. Calm and collected they were never worried. Only me. I left this place driving an excellent car with great milage and what I would call no buyer remorse. Mostly because of the experience which I thought would or could get salted over time but it has not. There were a few issues with my purchase that involved the navigation and control module. Steve assured me he would help me take care of it and another minor issue was that the lights are so fogged up they hardly look they are on. Once I get to a place where I can drop this car off I will have it handled but either way I can say this. There is reason why this organization is 5 Stars. They do everything right. They have the cars you are looking for and more importantly the attitude needed to make a good experience. In sales its about the CAN DO attitude. I was frustrated and felt a bit hopeless and they made me feel like I mattered. Steve Knows Sales and the Finance Guy not only knew finances but also computers. It feels good to be treated with respect. This is going to be the place my entire family and friends get their cars from. Here are the reasons. GREAT PEOPLE GREAT PRICES STAND MY THEIR SALES AFTER SALES AND AFTER SALES CARE WORK WITH YOU TO MAKE WHATEVER THEY CAN HAPPEN THEY GO THE EXTRA MILE. Used Cars are not exactly iron clad anything can happen but they seem to have most of the things you need covered or can handle any minor issues you need to take care of or the direction to point you to. 30 Years + Years of Business and Integrity and Experience makes this place a no brainer to shop for your next used car. If you are going to buy a used car and have no choice the good part is the choice of where to buy it has already been made up. Reviews like this for a car dealership like this is unheard of. The 2 Lacosta brothers running this business are the most honest and trustworthy salesmen you can find in the area. They specialize in affordable used cars! Come here to buy, sell or trade! My family has been coming here since our struggling origins. When I say struggles, I mean, we were a ONE CAR household. My dad would drop my mom off at work in the mornings and either he or my aunt would pick my mom up from work. We had a humble living and even with one car, we couldn't afford anything too new. The La Costa brothers were there to provide their automotive knowledge and extremely reliable recommendations. The cars we purchased from them throughout the years had no headaches. When it was time to afford to budget a second car into our household, it was legendary. We felt extremely blessed and fulfilled to have what others would imagine to be basic necessities. La Costa Auto Sales was a major factor in making that transition possible for their reasonable rates and reliability. I will always always feel grateful that they were able to be there for us during tough times. Pass forward to the present, we are blessed to afford to buy newer cars from the Honda dealership, but that leaves us with an "old" car on hand. Honda offered quite an insulting value, and my dad immediately said No thank you! We knew selling it to La Costa Auto Sales would be an honest amount, whatever the offer would be. We saw Steve, and he did a thorough inspection and pulled up the car's official reports, and gave us his professional opinion. We knew it wouldn't be much, but we definitely trusted and appreciated any "value". That car has been good to our family for two decades, and it was really hard to let go. We trust that it will be good to its' new owner, and still keep the car in our prayers. As a family who has bought, traded and sold cars with La Costa Auto Sales for nearly three decades, I can in all honestly give them the ultimate seal of approval. When we have relatives or friends who are just starting out, need a used car for a beginning driver, or looking for a reliable used car, we would always direct them here and trust that a positive transaction would take place for both parties.
