Amazing experience my guy was official. Did the inspection on a rainy afternoon before closing thoroughly and was very helpful. Glad I passed and hope to see him again. He knows what he is talking about in my case and I'm grateful I found him (via Yelp btw). read more

Don't be deterred by Lupe's abrasive and taciturn personality. He's a misunderstood genius. He is thorough, fast, and fairly priced. But be respectful and courteous. He will take care of your car. read more

Best service for smog check. He was very to the point price good. I was very happy with the service. I would recommend 100%.

Lupe was kind and friendly and his business doesn't charge if the car fails (which mine initially did). Returned after fixing the problem myself and it passed with flying colors! Would recommend him to anyone. read more

Been going here for years. They used to be located on the corner of Foothill and San Antonio Bing search still uses an old photo from that location. A couple of times they went above and beyond. Once to help diagnose a trouble code that the nearby Ford dealer couldn't. They also provided a copy of an invoice from a couple of years earlier to show my insurance company that I was driving less miles than they were charging me for. The fee is $51.20 including the $10.00 discount which they give to everyone whether you have a coupon or not. read more

Refused service and told me I had the wrong plates on the car. DMV and AAA both confirmed the plates come back to the correct car.

Quick and easy ! I was in and out in about 15-20 mins. Love the quick and friendly service I was able to get my smog checked and still be on time to work. read more

Went for a smog this afternoon. The gentleman who helped me was very courteous and friendly. It was easy to get in and out and he has classic tv shows playing as you wait. So happy to have been referred to this smog shop and will definitely refer others to go here as well. read more

Very helpful and friendly. Fast customer service, had me out within a few minutes. Coming here from now on.

Great service! I got in quickly to smog a previously non-op vehicle and they even tested for engine fail codes before running the test. Saved me time and headaches by being honest up front. Highly recommend these guys. read more

Lupe was quick and very nice! Just got my 01 Silverado smogged and definitely recommend for the price!

Don't bother going to this place. One individual who works there is abrupt on the phone when you call with a question. Then I went in person to the shop. When I asked for a general estimate on how long it would take he was rude, disinterested & initially didn't want to give an estimate. When I asked again he said an hour then went back to scrolling on his phone. I left and went across the street to another star certified smog station where the individual was polite, helpful & was able to service my car quickly. No difference in price. Again, don't put up with this guys rudeness! read more

Excellent service. Quick, efficient and affordable. Highly recommended. All my cars have been serviced here. No appointment necessary

I called to get a smog price, for my car. I was asked if I had AAA. When I said that I did, he quoted me $51.20. Great! While getting my car smogged, a friend asked me to check the price for her car and again, $51.20 (he did not ask about AAA.) When I left, he handed me (2) $10 off coupons. I gave one to my friend and she took her car in the next day. When she handed him the coupon he said, "Oh, you have a coupon, that'll be $51.20." What??? My friend doesn't like to complain, so she said nothing, paid and he handed her (2) more 'coupons!!' I went back today, thinking that I would be getting her $10. When I told him that he didn't credit her coupon he said, "That coupon is for $10 off the REGULAR price of $61.20." ($61.20 wasn't mentioned on the phone, nor when he told me how much my friend's car would be!) I just looked at him and said, "Really?" and laughed. He then told me that those were the 'rules' and that he just works there. Soooo, so much for 'genuinely honest' (as another yelper described him.) First time, last time for me. read more

Came in this morning for my fifth time and had a great experience every time. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a quick smog check. Got my 2023 registration sticker immediately after he transmitted my results of passing. Went straight to ralphs and used the dmv kiosk. Stay away from this place. Horrible service and extremely rude staff. I would give 0 stars if it were an option.

We have been bringing all of our cars here for years and after today we will not be back. The man who I believe is the owner has always been extremely helpful and friendly. We have even referred friends here. Not anymore. I'm not sure who the guy was working today but I waited for at least 10 minutes without him even acknowledging I was there. I gave him the benefit of the doubt since he was working on another car. When I finally (and politely) asked him how long he thought it would be he angrily responded "probably another 10 or 15 minutes. It takes as long as it takes just like it will with your car". Then he turned around and walked away. The absolute worst customer service I think I've ever had. read more

We've been coming here for a few years. Owner is friendly and jovial. The price was just right and service was quick. He even gave me a great recommendation for my new tire alignment (Phillips Undercar). Thanks! read more

This is the only smog place I will ever go to. They are amazingly friendly and attentive. They will offer you a water or soda. If you decline, they'll offer again in a few minutes. They have snacks, a little TV, an easy-up to block the sun...it's quite a setup. They work quickly and are reasonably priced. Highly recommended! read more

First of all, they have moved to 1775 W. Foothill Blvd. They are now located in one of the bays behind Route 66 Auto Repair, which is near the In-n-Out and about 4 buildings away from the Lowe's. Now to the review... Let's face it, having to get your car smogged is not high on the list of fun ways to spend your time. It's just one of those things we do because we have to every two years, so you might as well go some place where you will be treated well and where your patronage is appreciated! I have been taking my vehicles to Advance Auto Smog Check for many years. The guys are always courteous and professional. They know what they are doing and they won't try to rip you off. They're also very quick! The smog check takes about 10 minutes and, of course, they will transmit your results to the DMV electronically. Each time that I have had occasion to visited, I am always greeted promptly, given an expected wait time (if there are other cars ahead of me) and offered a seat and a beverage. What great service! The two guys always thank me for my business and they remember when I come back. As smog check places go, you really won't find a better place than Advance Auto Smog Check! read more

I come here for smog check every year. The shop was moved from couple blocks away. I like to come here for several reasons. The technicians are very friendly. They always offer me free soda or bottled water. The wait is about 10 mins. Since I am a AAA member they always give me a $10 discount. My mom said she also got a $10 senior discount on her last check. Nice people. Great Service. Reasonable price. read more

I came here based on yelp reviews and glad I did. No games or price gimmicks. The man working the day I went was super nice. Everything was smooth. I was greeted and given a clipboard with a form on it to fill out. There was a canopy set up with plenty of chairs to wait. Process was quick and without complications. Highly recommend! read more
