Was not expecting to need and get a smog check today, but here we are lol! I called my normal shop and despite it being during their posted business hours, they were not picking up the phone. So I took to Yelp to find another location and found Foothill Quicky Smog. I called to see if they were busy and they said to come on down! I had a little trouble finding the location and Google Maps was not helping. I asked someone at the car wash and they provided me with better directions. They're tucked around behind the car wash. I pulled right into their shop per their direction and they started taking care of my vehicle right away! I honestly was probably there for less than 10 minutes. Both gentlemen were super friendly and helpful. The price was fair, reasonable and cheaper than where I usually go. I think I've found my new smog location! Quick and easy. Quoted via Yelp for $53 total. They advised no appointments. I showed up at 11am on a Wednesday and there was one car ahead of me. They advised the smog check and paperwork would be approx 45, but I was done in 25 mins. This place is tucked away behind the car wash so you have to drive all the way around to get to it. Was recommended by my friend Mery Montgomery ( fellow Yelp user) she said this place was very good. It's a little hard to find if you're looking and don't know it's at the same place as the Carwash on foothill west of central Avenue. Small location and the guys there are very knowledgeable and helpful. Note this is a "Test Only" so if you have an older vehicle they can get you tested. They have a waiting area outside under an umbrella and you can watch them perform the test they're very professional. I only had one minor glitch. They explain to me that the locking gas cap that was on my late model Wrangler Jeep needed to be replaced and I could come back the same day and retest and complete and sure enough that's what was holding up my test and it passed with flying colors, I used to go to a location in Irwindale that was great but since I've moved to Rancho Cucamonga this place is very close. $75.00 for the test and the certificate. Note you only have 90 days after the inspection to go back to dmv or aaa to complete your registration or the test expires. read more
