Some people were saying nice owner. I guess I went at a bad time? I went in and waited few mins at their small front desk, he stared at me and ask me what I needed. No hello or hi o.o...awk then he said its about 1 hour wait..and I can come back in an hour. I was bit confused like come back hour later or like the service will take about an hour. Avoid this place like the plague! These clowns wanted to charge me $130 to smog my 1997 Ford Thunderbird. I only gave them a try because they're closer to home than where I normally go. Big mistake. Go to us smog check on pipeline in Chino instead. $75 there instead of the 130 these rip-off artists tried to charge me. read more

Called ahead, asked what time they closed, stated 12pm. Got there at 11:20 and waited till 11:55 when he took my info. Filled out paperwork and told me it will be $65. Returned paperwork needed and gave him their coupon for $20 off, for him to tell me these are not good after 12pm. I asked where it states that on coupon as it stated Valid Mon-Sat. He stated he can't write everything on coupon. Also, it was 5 min. to 12, and I was there since 11:20am. Poor service management. Please do yourself a favor and never go to this business. The shop opens and closes when it wants to and the owner is hardly ever there. He is extremely rude and could not care less about any of his customers. I had a car that was having trouble passing smog and instead of helping me with the solutions of how to pass; he spent the entire time dissing the upkeep of my vehicle and blaming me for wasting his time smogging a vehicle that couldn't pass a smog check. Not to mention, I still paid full price for smogging the vehicle despite it not passing, which I was okay with - but he still made me feel like I wasted his time. Have to get our van smog test before the DMV registration. Saw the advertisement for this place so I called to see if I need to make an appointment and how it will cost. I have the make and model of our van and it was quoted for a price and when I got there, they said is about $40 dollars more. I said no because of quoted on the phone. They honored it but I didn't care for this type of practice. It took them less than 15 minutes to hook up the system and signed the paper. Left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

This has been a great place to get a smog test. I've used it for more years than I can remember. Dependable. Honest. Polite. Once I went to another place because it, too, was close to my home in La Verne. That place told me they did a preliminary test and determined they needed to work on the car before it would pass i refused. On the way home I stopped at ABC. I didn't say anything about the other place. ABC tested and the car passed. They don't do repairs. Nothing to gain telling me they can fix it so it will pass. From then on I never went to anyone else. Very happy with ABC and recommend them to others often. And so far nobody I've talked to has been disappointed. read more

On this Hot Day, I went in for a smog for my old car that took him to smog 1 1/2 hrs. It's funny it didn't feel that long. He was helpful and gave good car care tips. And told me what my car needed to fix and help me pour water in my radiator. We talked about health, relationships and each other's cultures. Good experience. read more

Made an appointment for this location and I still ended up third after walk-ins. I paid for the smog and failed because I had a quarter tank needed to fill up to 3/4 full and he knew it. I had to pay an additional $20.00 for a retest and the card reader was not working I ended up going to get cash come back wait in line again. I won't be returning. read more

Do not take your car or truck to this business if it needs a smog certificate. So I had just paid $1400 to get everything fixed on my truck so that it would pass smog. I took it to this establishment thinking it would be a breeze. First off the entire time the gentleman who owns the place was running the test it felt like he was looking for reasons to fail me. He must've checked the my catalytic converters 10 times checking and double checking to make sure they were the right ones, the whole time keeping me worried because I was thinking oh shoot I must have the wrong ones on because that was the way he was making it seem. Then he finally tells me ok they are good. So my truck is going through all the tests and bam! It passed with flying colors like I knew it would! So I'm stoked because like I said I just paid all that money just to get it to pass. Mind you I have a guy that I take my truck to that I trust and he assured me if I fix all of these things my truck will pass no problem. So my truck passed all the emissions tests so I'm expecting to get my certification and be on my way. Well no, he looks at a small hose that is part of the emissions computer on the truck and says ohhh I'm sorry I didn't notice this before. This right here is no good. It's too old of a hose for me to pass it. You passed all the emissions tests but you are gonna fail my visual inspection. I said what? What do you mean? The hose is obviously working because if it wasn't I wouldn't of passed the emissions tests in the first place so how can you fail me for a hose that clearly works. He said well I'm failing you because it will fail sometime in the near future. I was blown away. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. So wait a second here, let me get this straight you're failing me for a hose that is working now but may fail in the future. That can't be ok. It was insane. I said ok give me whatever I need that says I passed the test. Now he starts backpedaling. Not saying he will pass me but just telling me that all I have to do is go replace the hose and then come back and that it will only cost me an additional $16 or something. I said nope I'll just take it somewhere else and I don't care if I have to pay another $70 or whatever it is I'm not giving you another penny. So here's what I did I left, went directly to another smog check place explained to them what just happened they hooked my truck up to their equipment and it passed once again with flying colors. They even looked at the hose and said it was fine. I did have to pay them the full amount but there was no way I was going back to that guy. I don't know what was up with him but to me he seemed like one of those people that is looking for ways to fail you instead of ways to help you. Like he wants to give you bad news or something it was so strange. Regardless I do NOT recommend that you go to this place this guy is awful at what he does. read more

I asked for a reprint of my single page smog report after explaining to Aman (the owner) that my mechanic needs it to fix my car. After Aman bluntly told me that I have the wrong mechanic, he pulled up my smog report on his laptop screen, then allowed me to view and take a picture of it. I said it would be great if what I am seeing can be printed. So I requested again if he can just reprint the report. He responded and said he will do it if I pay for his paper and ink?!? Made an appointment but when I got there the business was close. The shop next door said he left to get lunch. Why would you leave shop when you have a customer coming in with an appointment? Unprofessional. I called him and he said he will be back in an hour, no apologies for not being there when he should be. I'm not waiting for unprofessional business. I googled smog test and found another shop (Quicky Smog in Glendora); called them and asked if they require appointment and the guy politely said I can just come. I went and my car got tested within 10 minutes after I arrived; so in and out in 15-20 minutes in a professional, polite and clean environment.
