Super fast and friendly service, will be coming back again! Great location on Foothill Blvd, easy to access.

It was fast and efficient! Third time i've gone there and very happy with the service!

Friendly service the owner was very knowledgeable. Everything went quick and was in and out in no time at all. Will be coming back when I get my next smog notice. read more

Very overpriced. Told me $80 for a smog check. I asked why so expensive, was told that's the going rate. Drove a block east to another smog check place, paid $50 for same service. Don't get scammed. read more

German helped us with our smog test today. He's so kind and it was a pleasure talking with him. Definitely coming back to him again.

Great small fast place with a great price and even Better attitude! Getting in and out quickly was amazing. Thank you

The place is in the white Brake Masters building at Falcon and Foothill. Drove in for a smog check. Was in and out in about 20 minutes. German was my technician. Friendly. Business-like. They have a small, utilitarian waiting area, just a few plastic chairs. Today was pleasant enough to sit outdoors. I sat inside to stay out of the sun. There was an online coupon for $10 on their website. I only had to mention it to receive the discount. https://www.toplinesmog.com/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=wix_google_business_profile&utm_campaign=12990864255496085883 read more

$80 for a smog check on a 2015 Mazda is ridiculous. There are several shops in the area that charge $30 less for the same service. I highly recommend shopping around before succumbing to greed and avarice. read more

So I needed a smog for my BMW, I take my car to this place. As the guy opens my hood you can clearly see my RED INTAKE BOOT in my engine bay (completely forgot I had it there). The guy still has the nerve to continue the test after viewing my RED INTAKE BOOT, and runs my vehicle through his system which took about 15 minutes. At the end, the guy tells me.. "yeah it didn't pass due to the RED INTAKE BOOT", he charges me $50-$60 for the service, and another $40 to do a retest. IF YOU SAW THE RED INTAKE BOOT AND KNEW IT WOULD BE A PROBLEM, WHY RUN THE TEST? Thieves. read more

My car failed to pass on its first attempt. The tech told me to take it out and drive it about 200 miles to reset the catalytic converters. Did that but still a failure the next two attempts. They continued to tell me to drive it and retest. Finally this morning, a passed smog certificate. My car is my beloved Porsche 911. Why anyone would go elsewhere for smog tests is beyond me. My tech was as happy as was I. read more

I went to AAA in La Verne to update my registration I needed a smog. A Topline Smog was the closest Smog check. It was fast I was in and out in 10 min. Germán was helpful and nice. I would recommend people especially if you're in a rush and/or in the neighborhood. Ps. Owner loves dogs! read more

This is the best place to get a smog test. All of the positive reviews are correct. The owner, German, is polite, informative, friendly, and very fast. My smog test for a 2015 Honda Odyssey took less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend A Topline Smog Star. read more

Do NOT take your diesel truck here unless it is 100% stock. Had to prove him wrong about a Banks tuner that is CARB compliant, but he stated was the incorrect sticker. I went directly to CARB and pulled the E.O. for him, he then said he was not going to do it as there was "too much going on". I asked what that meant he stated there was too many wires. My truck is built for off road racing and has a utility bed with a ton of lights, radios, etc so I have some extra wires in the engine compartment. None of these wires even come close to the engine let alone control it. Unless your truck is 100% stock dont waste your time. Obviously clueless as to how emissions actually work. read more

Wonderful service and very nice. Absolutely will come here again. Reasonable price, I was in and out in under 15 min.

Meant to post this a few weeks ago. I realized upon getting to AAA to pay my registration that I needed to get a smog test. My registration renewal was due the next day. I checked my phone for any star smog test place near LaVerne AAA and this place popped up. Not only was the gentleman there (I'm so sorry, I'm writing this without the paper on which I wrote your name!) really nice and courteous, but he got me in asap! He chatted with me while the test was going and laughed with me at my error in not fully reading the paper. The whole process was quick, painless, actually pleasant! I highly recommend! It wasn't crazy expensive, either! I will definitely go back next time I need to smog. read more

Good service and quick! Will come back again. And they also told me I can have my things done at AAA rather than DMV. read more

A little tricky to find because it's attached to the back of Brakemasters and in close proximity to another smog check station. Super friendly and fast service! Garman is very courteous and professional, and is very considerate of your time. I will definitely be coming back for any of my future smog checks. read more

Amazing service. Friendly and FAST! I live in La Verne and Yelp helped me to find this business. Don't be confused by it's location, it is at the opposite end of the Brake Masters Entrance, in the same building as Brake Masters. Germán was the one who helped me and he was super friendly, plus their equipment is updated and he passed my car within less than 10 minutes. The last guy I went to took at a Smog place in Azusa ended up taking over an hour and a half to run a smog on my car. I won't go anywhere else and if you're close to La Verne/Pomona area and need a SMOG, come here!! Don't waste your time going to anyone else. read more

This is without a doubt the best smog shop I have been to. Compared to other shops in the area, I'm in and out with no issues in 10 mins. I need by biennial smog check before registering my car today and decided to try Topline after reading their reviews on Yelp. They're conveniently located a block from the La Verne office of the Auto Club, which also recommended it, so it seemed like a good choice -- and was it! I was greeted by Germán, the owner, who directed me how to park the car, explained his prices, and settled me into a chair in the shade. The test can't have taken more than 10-15 minutes and the whole thing was done. German explained what he'd done when he finished and I was out the door. He was pleasant and courteous, the shop was immaculately clean, and I have nothing but good things to say. It also bears mention this is a one-man minority-owned small business, which we need to support! I will definitely use him again! read more

Topline Smog surely lives up to its name. I'm usually skeptical of businesses with a boat load of 5 star ratings leading to believe they've got a bunch moles out there. Not the case with this place. In and out in 10 minutes, wonderful service. read more

A Topline Smog Star - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Pomona, California

Went to get a smog check today. I was told $60 for my minivan. The price seemed high, but I agreed. I was there for less than five minutes and was told that my vehicle was unable to be assessed due to the new battery. The business said this is a failure and charged me $45 and said I would need to drive around for 100 miles and come back for a retest and pay another $30. This seems very unethical to me. A respectable business would not charge extra if the service was " not ready" for the inspection. Your greed has lost you a customer who lives within walking distance and owns 5 cars. Charge a fair price and have some ethics. read more

An excellent smog check experience! I needed a smog check to complete my registration, and A Topline Smog was fast and effective. The shop is nicely decorated with cool signs, and the technician was friendly and quick. Mention the "online discount" to save on their already reasonable prices. It's hard to find since it's in back of "the brake service with the stop sign." Just remember it's between Bradford and Falcon streets right across from Lily's Tacos on Foothill. I was in and out in about 15-20 minutes. They've relocated from Redlands. This is the easiest smog check I've ever enjoyed. The owner is very friendly. The price is incredibly reasonable. I will recommend this place to all of my local friends. I'm very satisfied. read more
