Just had a smog check here. The owner was incredibly helpful and very nice. There is a neat sitting area and you are offered cold water or sodas. Super fast service and he explained everything. He even asked questions before the test that I would never have though of, such as had the battery been disconnected recently. If you are a AAA member, you receive a $10 discount. This place is very close to my work area. Yung and Lupe are very friendly. The service is fast, just pulled up my car, handed them the key and filled out a form. They asked me if I want any soda or water while waiting. Waited about 10 to 15 minutes then that is done. Fast and great services. Will come again! He also gave me suggestions on how to obtain my tags faster since I needed them right away he said go to AAA if you're a member, which I am. I'm new to California and this whole "smog check" thing, so I have no point of reference in evaluating this business, but I can certainly say that my own experience was a positive one. My family has two cars and I took them both to this location (which, as the other reviewer mentioned, should be listed as 1775 W Foothill--not 775--behind Route 66 Auto Repair). I took one car on Tuesday and the next on Wednesday. Though different men were working each day, I was in both cases treated well. The workers operated quickly, treated me respectfully, offered me a beverage (water or soda, I think), and gave me a place to sit under a tent (outdoors) to watch their tv or read one of the magazines they provided. The cost was just over fifty bucks, but I think it can vary depending on your vehicle. I went mid-day and waited about twenty minutes on Tuesday, ten minutes on Wednesday. I'll go back here again next time I need a smog check. read more

They are fast, friendly and very experienced. If your car happens to fail the smog test, their very fair price includes a free retest and will go through the report explaining what most likely needs to be repaired in order to pass. Advance Auto Smog is the only place I take my cars to get a smog check! read more
