100% RECCOMEND TO ANYONE! I called because my car was making a noise, sounded like something was wrong with the brakes. The owner Rob told me to come down and they would inspect it for $25 (Fee would be waived if I did the service there) After checking it Rob broke down the issue for me and how much it would cost. The pricing was fair and a steal. I also got my Oil changed here which was super cheap as well! The hospitality here is second to none, they make you feel welcome and help you understand. There's no games or scams just business. If you're looking for an Auto shop, Smog N Save is going to save you money and time. read more

Went in for maintenance and was greeted kindly by Ricky. He quickly gave me a quote on a part I needed and finished the job within a couple hours. Very satisfied with the speed and quality I was shown. And I really appreciate how he helped me out even though I came on the wrong day for maintenance, thanks. read more

Very friendly and great to work with. Explained what was needed and what wasn't. Very helpful

Just had all 4 of my rotors and brake pads replaced on my 2019 Toyota Corolla Se and the experience went better than I expected. Owner that helped me out was super chill and very friendly. They explained what they were going to do on my car, and they also updated me on the status of my car as they worked on it! The price for the labor / installation was better than every other shop I contacted. I'm glad I chose this place to do my break pads and rotors! read more

Smog N Save - SMOG- N -SAVE UNIT F - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Upland, California

As an 8 year+ regular customer, this recent visit will by my last as I was overcharged $12. I called Smog and Save and they admitted that I was overcharged $10 + $2 CC fees. They said they could not credit my CC and suggested I stop by to pick up the $10, but I told them I live 20 miles away. So, I contacted my credit card company who was able to help immediately and refund me the $10.00. Its disappointing because I brought all of my business vehicles here also. If you elected to go to Smog N Save, remember to check your receipt before you leave. An honest mistake?? Maybe, maybe not? read more

Smells like they were smoking weed in the back of the garage and if they were a good company, they would have told me that they had a coupon on the web and I could have saved $27. I'll never do business with them again. read more

Brought my car for a smog check and ended up getting an oil change with full synthetic oil for a good price thanks to Rob.

Nobody likes him to take the car in to get smog it's almost as bad as waiting in line at the DOL but when you find somebody that makes the experience pleasurable who knows what he's doing and cares about his customers this is where you go you come to smog and save the Guidelines plus jimmy is an honest person you can tell it right away he gives you an idea of how long it's gonna take tozier the price upfront let you know what could it could happen and give you advice of things don't work out why wouldn't you come here? I believe this is a good value this is the kind of business community needs to get behind and I'm telling you right now I had a great experience doing something that's almost as bad as getting your teeth pulled. read more

I had a great experience here, the service was fast and employees were friendly. Thankyou

I got an appointment next day and was in & out quickly. Staff & owner were courteous & informative.

I scheduled my appointment yesterday and was first in line for this morning. Jimmy is a great representative of this place. He was courteous, fast, and completed smog test as stated between 8:45 am to 9:00 am! Found this coupon on line in my photos and paid $40 cash and was out the door. Definitely recommend going here for your smog test!!! read more

Affordable and fast with very nice knowledgeable staff. Honest as well! It only took about 15 minutes to smog my car and have it recorded with the DMV that it had passed inspection! The waiting room was clean and quiet with a restroom as well. read more

Great, fast and friendly service! Most economical. Looking for an honest hardworking place, this is it! Thank you so much!

Always get great service when I'm in a crunch and even when I'm not! Fast and always reliable!

Fast services and good work. I have been here in the past 4 years to get all my cars smog checked. I used their coupon and saved me some money. However, this time the guy didn't deduct the total amount. It should be $40 but he charge me $50. It is still $10 less than regular price. read more

Listen to the bad reviews!!! Since when is a 2.0L 4 cylinder engine considered an SUV? I didn't go to my usual spot because I was rushing to get my smog check done. Never again. came here showed the coupon before the test because you have to or you will NOT get the discount and was told it was an suv and was charged an additional $10 plus a $2 fee to use your card. I've never been charged for as an suv for my car before. That said, don't come here. Literally go anywhere else! Especially if you are a woman. They take advantage of you! read more

You will definitely not find any savings here. I know my 89 Chevy truck is more than the average vehicle but $80 is pretty steep especially when I found another place just a few miles away that did if for $60. The guy here Failed my truck and charged me $62 to tell me that I needed to get repairs done that would run me almost $1k to pass because my cat is "modified". Again, a nice little No Pass No Pay hooked me up just like they have always done for years now....cheaper and faster. Do your homework before you pay more here for lesser service. read more

This shop does great work and they are fast and reliable. I would definitely recommend them for all your smog needs.

The gentleman that did my smog was very nice and got me in right away. I would recommend this place

1st time here, Jimmy, the technician , so efficiency ! Finish less than 15 minutes ! Very impressed! Be sure to print their coupon online before you go, great deal! read more

The young guy that did the smog was polite, courteous and efficient. Beware of the upcharge! The most outrageous thing is they charge you a $2.00 fee for using your debit or credit card to pay. Its ridiculous! No other company charges this. They dont take checks so you are basically forced to pay the fee because you are unaware of it til yuh ou go to pay. The employee states that the owner says he is being charged....he is profiting off everyone else. ARCO only charges .35 cents to use debit. The owner is full of it if he thinks we should pay an additional $2. Dont go there! Tell your friends too! I'm never going back. read more

I had to get my truck smogged this year. I liked the service. They had me in and out quickly. The staff was polite. However, be aware, they charge more for trucks than the promoted deal. read more

SCAMMERS!! Went to get smog check called before they mentioned a coupon which I brought with me and when it was time to pay they said it had to be shown before the service and would not accept it WOW!! such BS!!!!! So why don't they ask the customer if your using their coupon when you get the service knowing dam well its out there so they charged me $55 plus a bunch of other fees paid $68 GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! read more

Excellent customer service! Thank you for making a bland process fast and simple. Head over and get your smog on!! read more

I find it funny that people are complaining, "Oh they had a surcharge to use credit card!!!!" like no place does that, or, "They didn't ask me if I had a coupon and charged me full price UGH!!!" Well, I went to this spot yesterday because I needed a STAR certified smog, which they are, and the process was entirely painless. I showed up, told the guy I needed a smog with star certification, showed him the coupon BEFORE the test took place and was in and out in less than 30 minutes for $42 even. I think it's unfair to ding them on points of things the customer should be aware of beforehand. The coupon even says show before the test takes place and the surcharge is clearly displayed and shown on the website. It's entirely human error on those other customers parts. I will be returning here again for future service. read more

I brought in my jeep today, the ppl were super welcoming. If you lookin for a deal this the spot Fs. He also did it quick

My car need smog check since I'm have office In here I looked for the cheapest smog check on line it's say $26.99 when I went he told me $35 When I need to pay he charge me $37 and told me this a sign in the office not for the $11 just for the dis honesty I offer him cash he lied and told me owner is not in he is the owner I WILL recommend him . read more

Smog n save was fast and service great. I went to three other smog places, were rushing and not helpful, wanted customer to stand out in the sun while waiting in line for their car. Don't sweat it, just go to this shop, there quick and have a waiting room while car is being checked. read more

This was by far the best experience I have ever had with a smog place. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and politely asked to wait for the main guy to come through (sorry dude, I forgot your name!). The reason I have deemed this a 5 star review is because I was treated like a guest with respect. He started with the small talk, which helps build rapport, and continued to be friendly all the way until the end. I will be going back when my truck needs a new smog check. Plus, the gentleman who was in front of me didn't pass the check. It's noteworthy because he was treated with respect as well, and given all proper details on what was wrong with his vehicle, as well as a proper plan to fix it, and the option to come back within 15 days for a small fee to get re-checked, and sent on his way. 5 stars for cleanliness, small talk, efficiency (I was only there a short while), professionalism, and the wonderful filtered water. read more

I needed a smog certification to renew my vehicle registration. Unfortunately, my vehicle did not pass and I was told that I still owed $30. I was then informed that I had 15 days to have the required repairs completed and return for a retest, the charge for which would be $10. It took me approximately one month to get the repairs done and Smog N Save informed me that since the 15 day period had expired, the charge for the retest would triple. When I asked for a two week extension of the 15 day period, the person with whom I was speaking said that the 15 day period was noted on the receipt (like I had agreed to it in advance?). He went on to tell me that his policies are standard and that I would not find a better deal (his original price was $35 = $31.75 + $8.25 for the cert. less a $5 coupon). He could not have been more wrong. First, there are other reputable smog-check shops that are more reasonably priced. Second, I found several that do not charge if your vehicle does not pass. The one I found was a few miles south of Smog N Save. At no charge, they pretested my car to see that it was ready to check (which ensures that the required repairs had been completed). In a few minutes I had passed and had the required documentation all for $21.75 + $8.25 for the certificate. I told Smog N Save that I had other vehicles and his unwillingness to accommodate my modest request would result in the loss of my future business. Unfortunately, it made no difference to the person with whom I spoke. read more
