1 Star -- Extremely Disappointing Experience I had an extremely disappointing experience at American Tire Depot in Rancho Cucamonga, and I would not recommend this location to anyone. I went there because I had a small puncture in my tire from driving on the freeway. I had previously had the tire repaired myself, but when I spoke with Adam, I simply explained that the tire had been repaired before. I did not even get the opportunity to explain exactly how it had been repaired or have the tire properly inspected. Adam immediately refused to repair it and told me that I needed to buy a brand-new tire. What really bothered me was the way I was treated. If your store advertises tire repair, I would expect the normal procedure to be to inspect the tire first and then determine whether it is safely repairable. Instead, I felt like I was immediately dismissed without anyone even looking at the tire or properly evaluating the previous repair. You don't know whether a previous repair was done properly or improperly unless you actually inspect it. Simply hearing that a tire had been repaired before and immediately telling a customer to buy a new tire felt extremely unfair and unprofessional to me. What made the situation even worse was that I was there by myself, and I had to leave with a tire that I was already concerned about because they refused to even inspect or help repair it. As a female customer, I found that experience extremely upsetting and honestly felt very uncomfortable being treated that way. The attitude and customer service from Adam were also extremely poor. He came across as dismissive, arrogant, and unwilling to help. There was no effort to explain the situation professionally, inspect the tire, or offer any reasonable solution. I understand that a tire shop has the right to refuse a repair if a tire is genuinely unsafe to repair. That is not my complaint. My complaint is that I felt I was rejected before my tire was even properly evaluated. My advice: Call this location before you go. Don't assume that because they advertise tire repair, they will actually inspect and repair your tire. You may drive all the way there only to be told to buy a new tire and then have to drive somewhere else with a tire you are already worried about. Based on my experience with Adam and this location, I will not be coming back, and I would not recommend this location to my friends or family. read more

I want to bring awareness to consumers of places like American Tire Depot of Upland. When you go to purchase tires from anywhere, in my opinion, pay attention to the mileage the seller is entering into their system, as it can affect the warranty on your tires. We purchased tires from this place, and they entered about 30,000 miles less than the accurate mileage shown on the odometer. This company deducted 30,000 miles from our warranty, and I feel this may be a trend with places that sell tires. This happened to us at a different location about a year or so ago, which makes me believe that most people don't notice, and therefore, the warranty expires earlier than it should. It's sad that reputable companies can take advantage of consumers. They told us that the mileage could not be changed unless our car was serviced. In this day and age, with the advances we have in technology, find it ridiculous that something so simple cannot be corrected in the computer so they can print out a new invoice with the accurate information. read more

I first stopped by Big O Tires for my 1:30 PM appointment, but they told me they were extremely backed up and asked me to come back at 5 PM. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to wait that long. I called American Tire Depot, and Luis told me to come right over so they could take a look. Within 20 minutes, my car was pulled into the garage, inspected, tested, and thoroughly assessed. The technicians determined everything was in perfect condition. Luis didn't charge me for anything and encouraged me to come back if I ever had any issues. Super fast, friendly, and quality service. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Went 2 times to get an alignment here through their 3 month warranty and they still couldn't get my car aligned straight(kept going to the left.) Their mechanics are incompetent lazy bones that couldn't loosen my bracket to my tie-rod. That they kept twisting and broke my bracket and twisted/crushed my new boot (see pictures). Mind you I switched all these suspension parts new I just needed an alignment. They should be ashamed the way they do business. Wanted to give the public transparency on how they work. I had a very important work appointment in Rialto at 11:30 AM. I discovered a leak in my tire at 9:30 AM. I rushed over to the Upland American Tire Depot and arrived at 9:45 AM. Allen & Adam quickly determined that both front tires were too unsafe to patch and needed to be replaced. They also found that my front brake pads were extremely thin and unsafe. They replaced both front tires and the front brake pads in just one hour. Thanks to their fast and professional service I made it to my appointment on time and most importantly, safely. I highly recommend American Tire Depot in Upland. Allen and Adam provided excellent service, worked efficiently, and went above and beyond to make sure my car was safe. I Needed an alignment on my Lexus asap! A large rock fell off a cliff while i was in the mountains and hit my tire causing it to knock my alignment way out of place! My steering wheel was pointing right while my car was going straight so I needed this fixed asap! I called American Tire Depot and was offered a very reasonable price and they had same day availability and I had my car there within the hour! They were extremely transparent and even let my partner go in and look at the damage himself! They were able to align the car enough to get it safer to drive and made sure to inform me of the work it still needs for when I am able to take it to my mechanic in a couple days! Overall extremely satisfied with the service and quality of work! Mike was extremely helpful over the phone and in person to both me and my partner and I appreciate the piece of mind he was able to give me! I went in with a tire that I thought needed a patch , I have a 2018Toyota c-hr , the man that helped me said I needed all 4 tires that they all looked worn , and proceeded to tell me it would be $1000 for 4 new tires but he would give me a "deal" for $800 , and $300 for just the one, I was shocked honestly with that quote and left, I just got back from getting my tire patched ( the tire was still good ) and just needed a rotation, out the door for $84 ! Got front end alignment + 2tires, July 14th $416.32 I week later, noticed my steering pulling right, didn't think much of it, then roughly 3weeks inspected the what was new tires & they were totally worn on the inside, the same problem I had before. Took it back to Adam store Manager: I'm paraphrasing.... (Adam) you need new upper control arms & struts, they are totally gone & you gonna need new tires too... (Me) Why did your guy put new tire & supposedly align a front end if these issues resulted in pre-mature ware. (Adam) the upper control arm & the struts has nothing to do with the alignment... I'm thinking WTF, these issues have nothing to with alignment but caused tire wear due to mis-alignment. I figure it was BS & realized Adam won't accept responsibility, so I will fix the issue & buys some new tires @ $83.00/ea & they (Americas tire) can re-align the car, so I ask do I need to pay for an alignment again, he said YES...!!! I think his technician, failed to properly inspect the car before performing the service & didn't test drive the car to make sure to job was done right & should be responsible for the Cost of the new tires & re-alignment!!!' Came in December 2025 to get Front brakes done, oil change and replace rear shocks. Oil change portion they did not reset the vehicle to restart the service timer, no decal/sticker reminder for next oil change. Brakes: took back in due to brakes pulsing when applying brake at high speeds. Not sure what they did. Was told it was ready. Came and picked it up. Seemed fine at first then it started squealing and pulsing again at the pedal. Took my vehicle to another shop for a starter problem, they let me know that whoever resurfaced my rotors did a poor job. Can I get my money back or can you do the right thing and replace the rotors that you damaged? Update! Went back this morning and talked to Adam. Adam was very helpful. Warrantied my brakes and replaced the rotors with no charge. Was in and out in a little over an hour. Adam thank you for your professionalism and taking care of this. read more

I came here for a wheel alignment and had an appointment with Adam on Saturday at 1:30 PM. Even though I arrived 30 minutes late, Adam still accommodated me without any issue. The service was quick, everything went smoothly, and I left very satisfied. Because of that positive experience, I booked another appointment for Monday at 5 PM for a flat tire on my other car. When I arrived on Monday (on time), Adam wasn't there. The person at the reception looked at me and immediately said he couldn't help me because he was very busy. When I explained that Adam had booked my appointment and it should be honored, he told me Adam wasn't working that day and that I should talk to him when he returns. He also said he didn't know why Adam scheduled my appointment for 5 PM. He didn't offer an alternative time, wasn't courteous, and the interaction was very disappointing. Adam is great and has always treated me with respect, but the behavior of the other staff member was unacceptable -- and that's the reason for this negative review. read more
