I had an appointment last Thursday at 9 a.m., and as soon as I checked in they got started right away--I was in and out within about 30 minutes. The staff kept me updated the whole time and gave me an accurate estimated finish time. They installed a new tire, replaced my wiper blades, balanced the tires, and rotated all four tires incredibly quickly. I was really impressed with how efficient and organized the service was. They have a SHADY record keeping system and can't keep track of their records. They will claim they got a "new system", so keep your PAPER COPIES and come prepared. I've been coming to this America's Tire location for years and have always had solid experiences in the past, which is why this visit was so disappointing. Unfortunately, the level of service has noticeably declined compared to what I was used to. I stopped by around 1:20 pm and there were three employees behind the counter, yet no one acknowledged me, greeted me, or even let me know they would be with me shortly. I stood there waiting, assuming someone would say something or at least make eye contact, but that never happened. After about ten minutes of being completely ignored, I ended up walking out around 1:30 pm without receiving any assistance at all. I understand that places get busy and delays happen, but a simple greeting or acknowledgment goes a long way. What made this frustrating was not the wait itself, but the lack of basic customer service. I had a really disappointing experience at America's Tire. I went in to purchase four new tires and spoke with Andrew, and my TPMS sensor light was on. Since they inspected my vehicle before installing the new tires, that would have been the appropriate time to inform me that my sensors were bad. Instead, they put the tires on, and when I got back in my car, the light was still on. When I asked about it, they told me a "new employee" inspected my car and didn't catch the bad sensors -- which I later found out wasn't true. They then tried to charge me $65 per sensor after the fact. Had they told me upfront, I could have discussed pricing before buying the tires. I called the assistant manager to try to resolve the issue, but they were not willing to work with me at all. I've purchased my tires here for years, but after this experience, I won't be returning. And for anyone reading reviews -- this isn't the first time this has happened. They'll respond saying they want to "make it right," but I already tried contacting them directly, and they still wouldn't help. Do not buy tires from this location. read more

I set up an appt to have my tires checked because the TPMS light was on even after putting air on them with the correct pressure. Making the appt was a breeze. I normally go to the one in Chino but they no available appts. Victor checked us in . He was very polite and professional! He checked all 4 tires and the sensors . They all were ok. He said it maybe needed a hard reset and I said ok. It was done in a few minutes and he didn't charge us anything. Over the next few years, I stopped by and had them rotated every 6k-7k miles. They were always pleasant to deal with, and every time (except one) I was in and out of there in less than an hour. Went to AT this last week for an air pressure check. During that check they found a screw in one of my rear tires. They said to bring it in and they would repair it quickly and get me in and out. Yesterday I called to set an appointment for the removal & repair. Same line, come in and we will get you in and out quickly. Well in and out turned into over 2 hours. I understand that it gets busy BUT while I waited there were 4 customers that came in and purchased new tires and were served before me and left before they even got to my vehicle. I get it, sales are important but the after purchase service is part of what I paid for when I originally bought the tires. Kyle from AT checked on me after seeing me sit so long. He checked my promised time (2 hr) wait and said they were on time. Little did he know I was keeping track of these other clients being pushed in front of me. I was then out in 15 minutes. Flat repairs should be as important as the new sales/ installs. This truck is the only vehicle of my 4 that I take to AT. The rest go to Les Schwab where they run out the door to greet you when you arrive and offer a lot more service options. This non priority of warranty tire repair customers is a poor practice and should be charged. I have not written a Yelp review in over 10 years. AT is a good place to get new tires and getting tire punctures repaired. My complaint is that twice they warped my brake rotor using pneumatic drivers to tighten my wheel lug nuts. This happened a few months back at the Montclair location on my Kia Soul. The Kia had gotten a complete brake overhaul just three months before taking it to America's for a nail in my tire. The first time my brake rotor was damaged was by the America's Tire in Pasadena. This happened years ago to my Mustang SVO, (with beefy suspension and brake components). So, I strongly recommend that you insist on them tighten you lugs using a manual torque driver... not pneumatic drivers. read more

Had low tire pressure warning light on my Tacoma yesterday and they told me not fixable and they need to replace my 2 tires. So they did replace my tires but I noticed warning light is still on after job was done. Tech told me not to worry as it recalibrates. Next day, warning light is still on.
