Al and the work done at Chrome Brokers is top notch. They are a busy shop and you will have to wait to get your finished product, but there is a reason for that. They do a quality job and quality takes time. I originally took a set of handlebars in to have them chromed and Al using his knowledge immediately suggested they be bright polished instead of chromed which saved me money. This review is coming a bit late as Al Diaz and chrome brokers helped me out with some chrome work a few years back when I was restoring my 1966 F100. I was very impressed with the work quality, and I can say that it did last. I have since moved to Virginia where there is much humidity in the air, and the chrome has held up perfectly. I get compliments on the truck all the time. The work I had done included the front grill assembly, the dash assembly, the valve cover off the 300 in-line six cylinder, and all my side chrome pieces. The price paid for Service was about what is to be expected for the caliber of work Al delivers. What's more is that Al Diaz actually drove out to Anaheim Hills to meet me and picked the items up to be chromed. He then delivered them back to me when they were complete. Thank you Al for a job well done. I have attached some pictures of the restored project truck which is now over three years complete. Another top-notch job by Al. Recently bought a 2013 Model S and apparently the previous owner and some issues..uhh..parking. All 4 wheels were curbed and slightly bent. Al does top quality work. I took my Ford wheels to him for polishing. He told me straight up that they might not come out as good as I hoped since they were cast aluminum. He lied...lol. I picked them up a couple days later and couldn't believe the difference. They almost looked chrome. He definitely went the extra mile to make sure they were perfect. My wife called them with a fire hydrant to powder coat and chrome and was given a price over the phone and was asked to send pictures. She sent pictures to them and the price was set. So I took the hydrant to them and he told me that the price was double. I asked why and he told me that he thought it was a fire extinguisher I wasn't happy about it but I told him to go ahead and do it He called me to come pick it and then told me he only accepts cash (no credit cards or checks). The hydrant was chipped and the chrome was pitted and he wasn't willing to do anything about it. I had to pay him so I could get it back to have it redone. read more

I had an item chromed by this company and it looked horrible. He was going to keep my item if I didn't pay him in CASH so I had no choice but to do so or loose my item. Now it is even more expensive to repair because the company that is working on it has to fix everything this crook messed up. Will NEVER use this man again.
