I took my RAV 4 to get my rims powder coated. I got semi gloss and I am very content with the results. Friendly service and they answered all of our questions. Prices are reasonable and turn around time is good However, the service took an extra day, but they didn't communicate with us. The extra day was not an issue, it's the lack of communication. When I picked up my car, the rim caps were not dry, so I had to dry them at home. Other than those minor things, it's a good place. read more

I sent a message to about 5 companies on Yelp with this unique request to powder coat my bedroom mirror frames. I changed my bedroom from gold/brass to a beautiful grey upholstered look. Unfortunately, the frame on my sliding glass doors were also brass, and didn't match the new bedroom scheme. I spent weeks on line and at various stores trying to purchase mirrors that had silver or grey frames, but they were either far too expensive ($400 to well over a $800 dollars), or just didn't fit because of the unique measurements of my closet. Justin actually suggested that, instead of bringing the mirrors to his location and risking damage, that I should remove the mirror doors from the frame. Sure enough, It turned out to be a great idea. Just 2 days later, I came home and reassembled the frames, which give the bedroom an entirely new look. and, for a fraction of the cost. Big shout out to Justin and John! My buddy and I are restoring a couple of Brunswick Gold Crown 1 pool tables and wanted to powder coat some of the parts: cast feet and pocket castings. We learned through this whole process, cast metal is the most difficult metal to get a prefect powder finish due to out gassing. Justin and John stuck with it and got the job done right after several attempts without complaint or a price increase over the original quote. Unfortunately, I ignored the negative review and took my job to these guys - BIG mistake. I had a simple strip and sandblast job and here's what happened: - The job was completed 4 days beyond the time they said it would be done, I had to call to find this out. - They broke one piece and didn't even offer an apology, much less an offer to repair/replace. - They mixed up one piece with another job and powdercoated it - I had to go back the next day to pick it up, when I did, they hadn't even bothered to sandblast it according to my original order. - Despite all this, they attempted to charge me a price which was significantly HIGHER than their original quote. This is easily one of the worst businesses I have ever had the misfortune to deal with, I'd give it negative 5 stars if I could. Stay away! read more

Brought in my VW chassis after having new floor pans welded in and they did a fantastic job! They plugged all the bolt holes, and gave it a perfect gloss finish! Pretty disappointed in this location and the lack of communication. Brought my truck in on Wednesday at 12pm to have the wheels powdercoated. Was given an estimated date of completion for Friday (possibly Thursday if they could get it done right away he said). At 3pm Wednesday I got a call that they needed the wheel lock key. I did not have the key since I just recently bought the car and was not given the key from the original owner. Figured I wouldn't be able to get them done then until I ordered a new key. However the guy who called me said that the tire place could get the locks off there. Said ok. End of conversation. Fast forward to Friday 9am, no call yet to let me know an estimated time of completion. So I called to check on the status. Was then told that they were not able to get the wheels off and so they couldn't coat the wheels. Uum why was I not called back then? That means all day Thursday you could've called me to let me know they couldn't do them. And you wait until I call on Friday to tell me? So he said my car was ready to pick up since they couldn't do anything. Irritated at that point but I figure oh well I'm just gonna go pick up my car. I go to the location to pick up the car, IT'S NOT EVEN THERE! It's still at the tire shop! I was going to have to go pick it up there. Wow! Then I get to the tire shop and guess what? The truck is not ready for pick up. The truck is on risers still with most of the lugs off. By now I'm super pissed. The tire guy explained that he was waiting for a call from the owner of the powder coating place since he was told that the owners of the truck couldn't find the key and the tire guy explained that he said if he put everything back together and then we found the key it would've been double the work to put the truck up and start the process over again so he told the owner to let him know how to proceed. He never got a call. Wasn't upset with the tire place because I get his reasoning on it and it wasnt their fault. As a business, if you have given a customer a date of completion and something gets delayed, you should call! I appreciate the first call but when we ended the conversation on Wednesday you said that they could get the wheels off still at the shop. If that wasn't the case, you should've called us to tell us and we would've picked up the car Thursday morning. You didn't even tell the tire shop how to proceed. Looks more like maybe you forgot about our vehicle. So my review is solely based on the lack of communication and service. Can't give a review on the quality of work since nothing was done to my wheels. But I definitely will not be returning. read more

Let me start by saying that the quality of the powder coating work I had done was all in all very good. I had two rear Brembo Calipers re-coated from gold to black. The calipers came out looking good. There were some areas of the piston bore/lip seal pocket which could have been masked better and as such I will have to clean them up before re-assembly, but I'm comfortable doing so. My one complaint is that when I had called before dropping them off I was quoted $30 per caliper to strip and re-coat. When i arrived to drop them off It was recommended to me that I have the two piece Brembo's split to make masking them off easier. No problem, I can do that. I returned the next day with four Brembo caliper halves and the hardware. Turnaround was quick (2-3 business days), but when I received the voice mail that my calipers were ready I was advised that the total cost was $100... WTH??? I was specifically quoted $30 per caliper when I called in. At no point throughout the process was I informed the price would be different. I called to inquire and was told that these calipers required additional masking in order to come out properly and that I had actually dropped off 4 pieces instead of 2. They're right I did, but 4 caliper halves still only add up to two calipers, right? I received a couple more "justifications" for the price increase. I didn't want to make a big fuss over $40 dollars so I paid the bill (cash only, or at least it was for me that day) after I got the feeling that the originally quoted price was not being honored. I come from a line of business (automotive repair) where it is literally illegal to change the price of a repair/service without first contacting the customer and getting their authorization, so this whole scenario just felt so wrong to me. I don't see how this type of business practice can be legal in their line of work. I highly suggest getting any price quoted written down on your paperwork to avoid price discrepancies. Work was done quickly and efficiently, but unfortunately I will not be back. 8/7/15 Update: While powder coating the calipers they recommended coating the hardware securing the two caliper halves together. They said they could coat the bolt heads and that they would look much nicer. During assembly I realized that they had laid the powder on way too thick on these bolts and I ended up having to remove the coating they had added to the bolt heads/shank. This was extremely frustrating given they could have easily checked to make sure the bolts would still fit in their bores (threads were not a problem) before delivering it to me. I also had to remove some powder "flash" from the machined surface where the two caliper halves contact each other. I really hope I don't have a brake fluid leak there now. Update 7/13/2016: Well the brake calipers are now leaking due to the extra flash where the caliper halves are assembled. I'll have to disassemble these to clean them up and make sure they don't leak again. I've changed my review from two stars to one. read more

I went to this place to get a scooter frame and fork powder coated lime green they matched it to the exact color I wanted and did a great job. I left it and they said I would be a week it took a little longer but I wasn't in a rush to get it back since I was waiting on other stuff before I could assemble it. ***When I left my frame I forgot to tell them to mask off certain parts and I thought darn! I'll have to either sand them or strip them some how. When I picked up the frame they masked all the parts I wanted!!! Either someone knew or did some research on the frame before they powder coated it either way I feel these guys deserve a higher rating! *** I will definitely take my business to them again. read more
