I used this company to source a cheaper but factory style winter wheel set up for my MINI Cooper. I was able to order 4 on the website and received 3 MINI wheels and 1 Ford wheel in completely wrong size. They originally planned on charging $80 more to fix their mistake. After some back and forth they eventually made it right at no extra cost. The whole process took several weeks but I eventually got some winter tires mounted with no issues and tire shop said they were structurally good. To my eye they were visually ok. Most wheels had remaining minimal indents from curb rash repairs. Another wasn't fully painted into the lug insets. None of them had as much painted as the factory does. Points off for all of that. My biggest issue here is paint QUALITY. They may use a perfect factory color match and out of the 4 I got they were a great match. However the paint durability is TERRIBLE. I wash my wheels using the exact same foam cannon, soap, and shammy as I do my body paint (no harsh chemicals or brushes.) Soft microfiber only. After 2 washings the Original Wheels paint is so swirled and foggy it looks like it's 10 years old. To be clear my black car paint still looks great and their black finish does not. I even have an identical set of factory identical wheels for my summer rubber and they still look perfect too. I wash multiple cars from multiple makes, none of them ended up like these wheels. This leads me to believe that Original Wheels finishes are not up to par and not a truly factory or OEM finish like they suggest. Now, if you are still here this matters because they price isn't that much better than new. Shipped including all taxes and fees - $900 for their product or $1,100 direct from a dealer. Saving $200 for significantly lower quality just isn't right. Original Wheels positions themselves in such a way you think you're getting a similar quality product. If I knew the truth ahead of time I would have just gone factory. read more

Review update...After I received the wheel I ordered from OriginalWheels.com, I have decided to just buy OEM VW Golf TDI wheels from Norm Reeves VW. I called OW to schedule a return. It was a snap. Rick, and his team handled the process flawlessly, by providing a return label and processed the refund even before they received the wheel. Unfortunately the OEM wheel cost me $600.00 plus installation, next time I'd definitely go with OW. The wheel I received was good quality and the paint match was flawless, but because my Golf is brand new, I went with the OEM, but paid the price, big time. Hit something in the street and bent my 2005 scion tc commuter car OEM wheel. Thought i was going to have to craigslist or ebay some dirty old wheel but somehow came across Original Wheels on google. Checked it out on yelp and I have to agree with the high ratings; this place was awesome. Easy to use website and friendly, helpful customer service. First off, I was surprised on how fast the order showed up. It seamed like the next day. Rim was exactly as advertised, perfect match for my vehicle. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. I recently purchased a pair of rear wheels for my 2013 G37S. I bought the car used 5 years ago and the rear wheels had some black spray paint on them that would not come off. I suspect the dealer tried to cover-up some minor damage. but these 19" wheels have a unique coating (Hyper-silver) which cannot be replicated. Company advertises products that they do not have, nor do they have any idea if they will ever have these products in stock. They make no effort to publish a disclaimer that their products may only be available occasionally, if at all, ever (I have asked them to publish such comment on their website, they have done so). I ahve attempted to purchase the same set of wheels 3 times over 4 months and my order was cancelled every time, followed by excuses, then I get an offer for them to buy the wheels from some 3rd party at a 60 percent premium....feeling baited and switched. Rick - manager...tells me I should have known his business model ahead of time. How about putting a banner for out of stock items Rick? Perhaps a note saying you don't know when you'll get any of the wheels you advertise in? That sounds like better business sir. Find another company with integrity to work with. read more

I have a 2018 Mercedes CLA 4MATIC and one of the tires started losing pressure. To my surprise I had a cracked wheel. I did not hit anything, pot hole, curb etc. Mercedes wanted to charge me $850 to replace my wheel that clearly had a factory defect. I found Original Wheels online, identified the wheel that matched my vehicle & ordered the part right away. I got my "new" wheel in 3 days and it looks like it just came out of the factory! I ordered the wheel through the website. 3-4 days later, I get a call saying that the wheel is not in-stock and then the rep continued to try to upsell me on a different wheel and then on a "replica". After declining, the rep proceeded to tell me they can get my original order, but I would need to pay an additional $50 to have it shipped from CA. If you need a replacement, I would recommend going to your local dealership to avoid the lies and non-sense delays. You'll probably only pay about $20 more and they can install/balance as well. Very frustrating experience. Called to place my order, quoted me 10+% more than what their website stated. Gave a story about having to order them from a supplier, not happy but went ahead and ordered them after I was assured they'd still ship out the same day, because they "guarantee" all wheels are in new condition. 2 days later I get a call from a guy named Gus. Nice enough guy but completely clueless and unable to answer any question at all. Put me on hold several times, each time for a couple minutes (experienced this while ordering too from the same guy). They were calling to say the wheels hadn't shipped yet, and by the way.... they're scratched up. "They aren't scratched badly, they look fine from far away". What a joke. Refuse to discount the wheels they already marked up, and even have the gall to offer to clean them up for me for $100. You might have better luck, but this barely qualifies as a legitimate business in my opinion. read more

Outstanding service and support. I had a damaged rear rim for a MB E350. MB wanted $1500 for a new rim. I wasn't comfortable with a repaired rim so I looked for alternate options. Original Wheels offered a reconditioned rim OR a "as new" take off in A- condition. Healther helped me with my selection of a new take off rim. I ordered, rec'd in one day via UPS. The rim was perfect. I couldn't tell it had ever been mounted with a tire. A perfect as-new condition rim. The price was 1/4 the cost of a new MB supplied rim. Update- Rick is resolving they are refunding once I send the wheels back and are covering shipping but I am out 25-75$ to dismount wheels and have two new tires now. They tried I tried so changing to 3 stars. Currently resolving dispute with them on a issue with two wheels sent with two different colors offsets and falsely using the wrong product number for both. If things are resolved I will alter the review upon my satisfaction as a consumer. Details: -Wheels purchased in 12/16 and mounted 5/17 (this was the proposed timeline told to them as well -They never confirmed with pics the color of wheels, however HQ/displatch and sales had the pic of the wheels and color. They did not send me pics or anything they sent the wheels and charged my card. -Once received they looked fine, even with slight color issue it was ok until in May the dealer mounted them (winter to summer tires) they were different wheels all together. Diff offset according to dealer, color and need alignment and balance and much more. Cost me 544$ from the dealer to get all this done and 386$ for tires for the 480$ in wheels already spent. -Tried to resolve with them and amex with no result since their POLICY is your problem once you inspect and keep the delivery. -The customer service is pretty good and they try but their policies and management and leadership needs to be open to a discussion and not firm in black and white rules. -They need to have not ever sold me two different wheels, or QA it, you cant take money and then think there are no repercussions for a falsely advertising product, which could have been a simple miscommunication of your part, but instead you use a policy as a fall back to cover your tracks. -The proposed solution would be to find the right wheel which they do have most likely nor does anyone else. So I have proposed buying all my wheels back and then I will purchase from them and pay the difference as needed for matching 4 wheel set for my Lexus 200nx. -I hope they resolve this so I have 4 matching wheels. I will even pay the mounting and dismounting which is another policy they dont have any leeway on. If they just had a dialogue or bended a little then could have been resolved very easily. Now I have to make sure as a consumer everyone is aware of their poor business practices. Ultimately only an expert could tell the wheels were wrong (visual inspection would pass for everyday ppl non car certified techs), now I will have to rent a car for this swap or they will have to mail the wheels and then charge back and buy my other wheels including 2 they charged and two they have to buy. When faced with exorbitant costs to replace the wheels on my 2007 BMW 335i. I looked for alternatives. I was able to find replacements at OriginalWheels.com for a much lower price. Ordering was easy. Shipped to my tire dealer directly so I didn't have to deal with the large package. Shipping took a little longer than expected (about a week vs. the expected 3-5 days), but not a big issue and it was memorial day weekend so the delay was a little expected. He told me that he try to bend it back into shape but it would not be safe and he doesn't recommend it. He recommended a wholesale dealer that I may be able to get a deal from. A Rim on my customers 2018 Genesis G90 cracked so i reached out to Original Wheels and Rick and his team are amazing. I ordered a Rim for it and after having it mounted on to the new car, i noticed the color of the new Rim was different than the other 3 rims. I reached out to Rick regarding the issue and he requested that i send him pictures of the Rim as well as pictures of the other 3 Rims which i did. He then requested that i send him the damaged Rim so that he can make sure that the replacement Rim he sends me is the correct one. He sent me a prepaid Label for it and a short while later, he sent me the Correct Replacement Rim as well as a Prepaid Air bill to send him back the Incorrect Rim. The wheels were great at first but... I purchased four wheels for my VW Jetta on September 3, 2016, as replacements for cosmetic damage caused by an incompetent tire shop. Recently, however, my tire shop indicated that one wheel is bent / warped and the tire cannot be balanced. I verified this with a second tire shop. Although I often do drive on rural roads, I also drove on these same roads with my old OEM wheels over a much longer period of time and not one was ever bent / warped. I also do not recall hitting a pothole or other obstacle with extreme force (although I did with my old wheels that never bent). More recently, I also noticed that the plastic covering on the finish of the spokes of all the wheels are cracking and water is collecting underneath. Is this a protective shipping covering that should be removed, or is this a "clear coating?" read more
