The moment I pulled into the lot, Scott immediately approached my vehicle to see how he could assist. HTW curated a truly seamless experience for me! I came in looking for a lift kit and some all-terrain tires for my Chevy 1500 RST. I stopped by early Monday morning for a quote, and by that same afternoon, my truck was fully equipped and ready to go. As a first-timer to truck modifications, I had a lot of questions--but Scott took the time to answer every one of them thoroughly. He even went above and beyond by offering extra recommendations and suggestions to help me get the most out of my setup. On top of the unbeatable pricing and high-quality work, the professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness of the staff were top-tier. Got my level kit and tires for my 2019 HD Silverado the other day here and it came out great. The truck actually rides even smoother with the kit than before. Very satisfied. Added AMP running boards to a 2024 Ram 3500 that is equipped with onboard self leveling system. I was originally told that I couldn't put them on due to the SL system without relocating the tank which would create a headache. After talking to Chris and his installer, they were confident they could add them without relocating and offered to wrap the tank to make sure the two would not hit. I can honestly say, it was worth every penny. Timely, reasonably priced and an excellent experience overall. Highly recommend HTW. read more

I was recommended by a friend to come to HTW and I'm glad I did! I had a lift kit installed by Scott and his crew a few months ago and they did a great job. I came in again recently to get a set of wheels that I had planned on getting but unfortunately they were discontinued. Scott was able to find some wheels that were similar to the ones I previously wanted and get me a good price on them. This place was recommended by a friend. I walked in and immediately was greeted and asked what i was looking to do. Scott and Tony are super nice and helped me with a set of new tires for my silverado and new tire pressure sensors. They gave me a good deal. I was in and out in just a little over an hour. Tony was very knowledgeable an helpful in helping me get the perfect rims an tire size for my 67 Chevy. This is probably one of the best car experiences I have had. Usually places are rude , unprofessional , price gouging an have no communication . HTW was the complete opposite, I received daily updates on my car status an when the car was done it was exactly the look I wanted . tony at HTW helped me get a slightly larger tire for a better stance. Something I have been told for over 20 years couldn't be done. Very happy HIGHLY RECOMMEND read more

I was recommended this place by my dad who has gotten work done here in the past. Took my 2003 Chevy 1500 in to get checked because my ride was just not smooth, always felt as though I was driving a tank. Spoke to Tony (which by the way is great!) and he recommended a few things I could do to make my truck drive much smoother. Made all the recommended adjustments and let me tell you it made a huge difference on my ride. Changed my front and back shocks, control arm, with ball bearings and a few other things. I absolutely love how my truck feels now while driving it. Can you believe I was thinking of buying a new truck because I thought my truck felt and drove this way because it was old lol. I actually have a great truck with only 151k miles on it and now a great smooth ride. This truck will last my years to come. Thank you Tony and HTW read more

I got my wheels some time ago but iam very happy with them. I came to HTW because I have off road tires that started to shake after a rotate and nothing would fix it. One of the main guys ( forgot the name sorry) was great help and seemed to genuinely care. He got me setup with some alloy wheels and hub-centric lugs and has been much better ever sense. The front office seems a bit chaotic but over all very nice people, and I will be back. read more

The best place HANDS DOWN to get stuff done to your truck . Best prices, fast service. I got quotes from a competitor of theirs, which I won't mention their name but New Orleans has a football team named after them. And they were WAY high on their estimate! Whatever you need done, they can handle it. And they also do all the installs for the local dealers in the area. So that for sure tells me they know what they're doing read more

have been using this place for 20+ years and they always do a great job. The owners, Tony and Scott, are great to work with and know their stuff. Just had my Ram 2500 and Jeep Wrangler worked on by them and they did a great job on both. Highly recommend this business. Would give them a negative 0 stars if I could. Especially whoever the guy Tony is. Called in lookimg for a set of tires and he was the most curt and rude person I've dealt with for years. They were going to overcharge me by 30 compared to other shops I just didn't want to drive since they are literally right next door to me. He lacks true customer service skills. read more

When I ran the quote through ChatGPT I was told they were charging me dealership pricing for an independent mechanic for that type of work in LA. So I brought the truck here to Speedway where I had Minor worked done before and had a good experience. They told me my bearings need to be replaced and did the work for lesson than a quarter of the price I was quoted at the other mechanic. Work was finished in a day and the truck has been running perfectly since then. Had I spent to 4800 at the place it wouldn't have even resolved the issue, which means I would've had to come out of the pocket even more after the initial work was done. Obviously a truck of this age is gonna have some problems and when they inevitably happen again I will be back here at Speedway to take care of them. What we all are looking for when we are upgrading our rides is a quality product at a fair price, and trust the people we allow to work on these cherished rides will to a great job. Sometimes we get lucking and also find someone with integrity and that is the case with HTW Motorsports! These guys stand behind their work! Just the other day I noticed oil on the left side of my truck, on inspection I noticed the protective plastic cover in the wheel well had rubbed a hole in the brake line. I called Scott of HTW he suggested some protective measures for me to take and for me to bring it in ASAP. HTW had installed a 6" lift along with tires, wheels and shocks, the installation took place three years ago. On inspection Scott made a couple of calls and then had me take the truck to Mark Christopher Chevrolet. Mark Christopher was surprised that the plastic could actually wear through the steel line and said that bracket should have been installed in a manner that would have eliminated the problem, or at least trimmed the plastic. Mark Christopher had to fabricate a new brake line and bleed the brakes, all said and done at a $300 price tag, what. It isn't very often you fine someone that really stands behind their work, HWT does! This is the second truck that HTW has customized and my new 2014 Silverado will definitely be heading to HTW for all of my customization requirements! By the way... Scotts wife Christina works in fleet leasing at Mark Christopher, look her up before buying a Chevrolet and you'll save a ton of money!! Thank you Scott this really means a lot to me! read more

Lets first start off by stating how amazing Scott is! He communciated in a timely manner, although I know that he was extremely busy. I explained that I needed wheels and tires but I didn't want to break the bank. I did not need anything fancy, just reliable and durable. In the end he gave me a great deal and he absolutely took care of my needs for my truck. He did not try to upsell or oversell me at all. He definitely earned a customer for life. The establishment itself is very clean and warming. The ladies that are stationed near the show room are wonderful and very helpful. Waiting until the customer calls hours later to say the job won't be done shows a lack of respect for people's time. If they were overbooked or short-staffed, that should have been communicated before taking the appointment or at least first thing in the morning, not halfway through the day after the vehicle has already been sitting there. About 20 minutes after leaving following a routine oil change (first one outsidethe dealership) , my vehicle overheated and I was told it needed a new water pump. Three weeks later, the radiator failed. When I picked up the vehicle, the technician told me someone had put stop-leak in the radiator. That immediately raised questions because this shop had been the last to work on the vehicle when the water pump was replaced. When I questioned it, the explanation changed. Nine months later, the water pump they had installed failed again. At that point, I had the repair done at the dealership instead. Fast forward to our second vehicle. We took it to a different repair shop for a water pump replacement due to age, and they also found stop-leak in the cooling system. The last place that had serviced this vehicle was Sunland for a routine oil change. We never had a radiator leak, yet we're now being told the buildup from the stop- leak in the cooling system is bad enough that the radiator should be replaced before it causes bigger problems. I've since spoken with multiple mechanics, and they explained that stop-leak products are typically used to help seal cooling system leaks. Since neither of our vehicles had a known radiator leak, I have serious concerns about why it was present in both cooling systems. I can't say with certainty how it got there, but based on my experience, the sequence of events has left me with little confidence in this shop. I encourage others to ask questions, keep detailed service records, and get a second opinion if something doesn't seem right.
