From the minute you reach out to inquire of their services either in person or on the phone they are efficient and provide clear expectations. The service is fast and efficient. Customer satisfaction is definitely something that Gilbert strives for. He went out of his way to try to get a Pirelli tire replaced under the manufacturer's warranty, which it clearly was defective. Look at the picture, would you want to drive on a tire with a split in the side wall? Pirelli denied the claim because i replaced the tire with a different brand. I could not believe it. The reason i did not replace it with the exact same tire is because it was not available. Here I am thinking how lucky I am that I was even able to replace the damaged tire, instead of driving on it until I found a tire shop that carried that brand and style. And now Pirelli is punishing me by only offering me like $60 towards a tire. When clearly the least they could do is replace the defective tire. So now not only did I purchase a random tire so i could drive my car ( no spare ) to the shop to get the new run flat tire to I need to replace the defective tire, I only get $60 off the new tire. When the new tire should be free since its clearly a defective tire. Sorry if i am repeating myself. The point was that Gilbert tried to get the warranty claim approved, which I thank him for, his customer service is top notch. As for the tire company, Pirelli, if i could, i would choose a different brand. I do not recommend getting Pirelli tires, they do not stand by their product, they do not care about the customer. read more

The owner of this highly referred establishment actually waited for me. I was driving from La Crescenta, in the heat of traffic and told her that it would be another 40 minutes to get there. It was already 5pm and they close at 6pm. The owner eased my worries by telling me to drive safe and that they would see me soon. When I got there, they had the wheels already balanced with TPS pre installed so they can do a quick and painless job. PROS: - Great prices - Family owned - Speedy and quality service CONS: - They pickup tires on an as need basis so they may not have the tire you need on the spot I've gotten my curb rash fixed here and I've also gotten a set of tires here as well. Each visit was speedy and well taken care of. My curb rash, they took me same day with 15 minutes notice and got me out within half an hour looking brand new again. My set of tires (4 x Hankook Ventus Evo2) were the most competitive price I received from numerous shops. They didn't have the tires I wanted but Mark made it possible and had them picked up and installed for me. In addition, I have a set of aftermarket wheels and believe me, it matters where you take your wheels to. I trust the people here at Nitrous Garage w/ my wheels. I've had my wheels scratched at other shops, dealerships, you name it. They'll take care of your wheels here. One thing that stood out was that the owner, Mark, remembered me and my car. I brought in a set of wheels to get powder coated and also purchased a new set of tires from here at the same time. I was in contact with Gilbert the whole time through my experience and I asked that the wheels not have a super high gloss finish but I still wanted them to have clear coat (as metallic silver powder coating needs a clear top coat to prevent oxidation). I picked up the car with the new wheels and tires. I got home and took a closer look and realized the wheels had NO CLEAR TOP COAT on them and had a textured/orange peel matte finish to them (nothing like their original finish). I called Gilbert the next day and let him know what I noticed. He apologized for his mistake and said he misunderstood what I wanted. I asked if I can take the car back and have the wheels clear coated and I wouldn't mind paying for the labor of removing and mount/balancing the tires again (I shouldn't have to since they made the mistake) but that was my part of willing to give them another try for the inconvenience. He called me back and said his boss will have to charge me $220 to clear coat the wheels. WHAT?! Now I have to pay more for their mistake after paying full retail on their powder coating job AND buying a brand new set of tires? That's crazy. Needless to say, I will not have any work done here anymore and will not recommend them to anyone else. read more
