I went in for tire service. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend!

I needed to replace one flat tire, so I called around for quotes. They were running a promotion on a premium set of tires, so I decided to go with those instead of the budget option. When I called, I specifically asked whether installation was included in the quoted price, and I was told yes, which is pretty standard at tire shops in the area. When I arrived, I was told my car would be ready around 1:00 PM. I also asked if they could put the new tires on the front and move the existing front tires to the rear. The employee at the counter agreed without mentioning any additional charge. I came back at 1:00 PM, only to find that my car hadn't even been moved yet. They didn't actually start working on it until around 1:30 PM. The biggest issue came when I paid. I was charged an additional $40 for mounting and balancing, despite being told over the phone that it was included. While I was trying to ask about the discrepancy, the employee handling my payment was on the phone and never addressed my question, which felt unprofessional. If the extra charge was actually for rotating the tires, I wish they had told me before agreeing to do it. I would have declined since I can get tire rotations done for free at Costco. If the charge was for mounting and balancing, then the information I was given over the phone was simply incorrect. The tires themselves are fine, but the miscommunication, delayed service, and lack of explanation left a bad impression. Better communication and transparency about pricing would have made this a much better experience. read more

Pomona Tire Pros - My tires before service - Tires Near Me - Pomona, California

5 Stars - Outstanding Service! I had a great experience at Pomona Tire Pros and wanted to give a big shoutout to JOSE, the manager, for going above and beyond on my Ford Ranger. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was done right from start to finish. He took the time to explain the work, answered all my questions, and made sure I was comfortable with everything before moving forward. The service was fast, honest, and thorough. You can really tell Jose takes pride in what he does and cares about the customers. My truck is now running a 2.5 level kit, new wheels and tires and I couldn't be happier with the results. If you're looking for reliable work and top-notch customer service, ask for Jose at Pomona Tire Pros -- he'll take great care of you. Highly recommend! read more

We were traveling and our low tire light came on. Had to ask WAZE to find a tire shop and it took us to Pomona Tire Pro. What a blessing that was! They could not have been more friendly and helpful. They got right on it. Found the problem, fixed it and within 30 minutes we were out of there and back on our way for the rest of our 5 hour drive. Since it was raining I never had to get out of the car. I didn't get their names but I highly recommend this business! read more

I've been doing business with Pomona Tire Pros since my first car, and before me, my parents were customers of the shop for years. I've sent countless family and friends here and they've all been satisfied with their service and get a good deal on tires. If you're looking for the best deal on tires, call two other shops first and get a quote. I can guarantee when you call PTP, their quote will be lower than both and they'll have them ready for install very quickly. It's also important to mention that I've NEVER had a balancing issue or alignment issue with this place. I hear horror stories of peoples tires bouncing on the freeway or their alignment being chronically off. In all my years of patronage here, I've never once had any issue of that sort. In the industry, it seems like all the competitors know that PTP is the most competitive on prices. I think they have the advantage because of how high volume they are so they can operate on thin margins. It's a busy place because they've earned their business from loyal customers. Countless times they've gone above and beyond for me and added in a complimentary service which just makes me feel appreciated as a loyal customer. I've always worked with Jose and we have a good rapport. His customer service is the best I've found in this industry. Thank you for keeping me and family/friends safely on the road, PTP team, for all these years and the years ahead. read more

Stopped in at Pomona Tire Pros this morning after the air pressure light came on in my car. Not really knowing if my tires just needed air, or if I had a leak, or a flat, John checked everything out. Thank you John for taking care of my car this morning! read more

Great experience at Pomona Tires Pros. I was recently looking for two new tires for my wife's car, I got on Yelp and called a few places for quotes. I was getting ridiculous prices, or people telling me that the size tires I was looking for were not in stock. I came across Pomona Tire Pros and spoke with Jose, who gave me a great deal on two new tires and even gave me a great recommendation for a beefier tire and more options. He ordered the tires and said they would be there the next day Friday, 02.02.24, and would call me as soon as they came in. Once the tires arrived he called me as promised and I went to get the tires installed with no problems. He even checked the back tires to let me know how much tread life is left and when they need to be replaced. read more

Had a great experience here today. I brought my car in because my tire pressure sensor light was on. It ended up being a nail that Jose removed within 5 minutes of looking at my car. yelp deleted my second account so I have to rewrite reviews, horay. So My Ex used this shop for rims and tires and one day she needed a new tire because the quick fix she had for it did not take permanently. So I took time out of my day to come to this place where she got the rims and told them the tire that had issue (front passenger side). I wait in their small room and it takes over an hour for one tire to be replaced. They tell me its done and car is ready. I drop off her car and continue on my day. Later on She has a flat on the rear tire...they rotated the tire. The busted one...instead of replacing it. Yeah, angry GF day while I took the time to come to this shop. I do not recommend at all. incompetence goes along way here. read more

Great service! And as the google review posted on the window, they are very honest. Brought my buddies real BBS wheels to get tires dismounted and they didnt even try to jack up the price because they are 3pc wheels.
