I had just arrived in town from a long, 2 Day drive from out of state in a rental car. My tire popped two blocks from my brothers home. With it being a hybrid rental, no spare was on board. We had it towed here and of course it was just after closing. I intended on following the tow truck and leaving the vehicle for them to take care of in the AM. When I arrived behind the tow truck, there were still some workers finishing up other vehicles. I was inside where they were getting my info with the purpose of finishing in the morning. Again, it was already after hours. I turned around to the manager saying they'd have it done in 10 minutes. I was floored. I was in town for a few days and with family things happening, I did not have the chance to make it back to thank them with treats as I intended. I cannot recommend this place enough. Just to preface: I like America's Tire, just not this location. I came into this America's tire to get tire rotation, tire balance, and tire pressure check. Guy in the front says no problem and checked me in. In 11 minutes, they called my name saying it was done. I was very shocked because I've never heard of a tire rotation being done this fast and when I asked if it looks ok, they said yes. I went home but didn't feel good about how fast it took so I took my car to another location 2 days later. That location checked the state of my tires in front of me, and said they found a small nail in the driver side (which they took out). They also rotated the tires as I asked and told me my tires are nearing borderline so I may have to replace them soon. I bought 4 Kumho tires at America Tires in Montclair advertising $ 80.00 rebate on March 3rd, 2026. At the store, I asked about the rebate and was told by one of the sales man there that I do not have to do anything. I will received the rebate automatically . 5 weeks later, I called America Tires in Montclair to check my rebate, one person told me that I need to submit a rebate form which nobody told me before. I go on Kumho Rebate and ask them about this. They replied that the employee at America Tires suppose to provide the rebate information so that I can create and account and submit the rebate. Caught a flat last night and had to take my dog to the vet today, this place was right around the corner so I threw on the spare and came here after the vet. They were fairly busy at the time (11am on a Friday) but took care of my 2018 Subaru Outback in less than 45 minutes. I have been taking my car here for years and typically they have been decent but they are over priced. Except today I was trying to get a tire replaced under warranty and he could only find 1 purchase ever from my account, I know for a fact I have been here MULTIPLE times over the years and I had to literally go behind the counter and look at the screen and told them multiple times I've been here before and my tires are under warranty, then finally the "manager" goes "oh we have a new system now, let me check the old one" and finally he finds my warranty. From getting new tires, wheels or fixing a flat, this location is worth my time and value. They also service and install new wiper blades and have a complimentary air check line any time. Pro Tip: I always recommend getting a certificate for repair, which is like a warranty for the tire which covers refund, replacement or non-repairable damage (the dreaded puncture, tear, or Chunk off the side wall or shoulder) Trust me! Everything was going great until the guys who work the back flooded my classic. Instead of asking me how to start the car , or let me know they had already tired to start it with no luck they just handed me the keys and asked me to move the car. I called this morning and spoke to Gary to get pricing on 4 truck tires , he quoted me on a 50k warranty at $117.00 per tire , and a 60k warranty at $137.00 per tire, when I showed up 15 minutes later to get them installed , I decided to buy the 60k tires, however the price now is $148.00 !!! Manager Lucas Castro said I was quoted for car tires instead of truck tires !! I asked to speak to Gary and I was told he was busy! I'm paying them the $148.00 per tire this time ! Once again this location managed to strip one of the lugs on my Subaru. This is beyond frustrating. When I spoke to their salesperson Rigo O., all he could say was "this always happens with Subaru's." I told him this was the second time in three visits that his shop has done this. His response with a smile on his face was "don't worry we're going to send you to another shop where they'll take care of it." So now I get the inconvenience of having to go to another location and take additional time out of my day to get their mistake corrected. While at the other location I was told they may land up scratching my wheel in order to deal with the damaged lug. Fortunately that did not happen. Rigo the salesperson from America's Tire Montclair never apologized for their mistake or for the inconvenience. Extremely poor customer service in my opinion. Also if you own a Subaru DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION since Rigo stated that this always happens to Subaru's. I went in to the shop at around 5 p.m. It was kind of busy by that time. I had a nail in one of my tire. I saw it was pressured off slowly. The manager told me I had to wait at least 1 1/2 hours to finish fixing my tire. I was okay with it. Because it was kind of late. I got to talk to Landen, he asked me about my tire's problem. And he said they can fix it for free of charge. I was shocked ! I could not believed it ! I was patiently waiting at the lobby. Luckily, it was taken care of shortly after! Within one hour, I got it done. The office was very clean. They had a complimentary coffee station for you to drink also. I was very pleased with the services at this place. They took care of my Lexus really well. Love it ! The guy who helped me was Seth. I gave him some tips to show him my appreciation! Thanks again, America's Tires at Montclair. A few weeks ago, I went for their complimentary air service, as my tire was showing as critically low; it turns out there was a nail. Super frustrating last-minute challenge that I wasn't prepared to manage. But, also, I'm happy the person filling my tire (Landen) checked for issues. I was in and out in around 30 minutes. Granted, factors like the time of day I went and how much staff they had on hand vs. customers likely played a role. Still, I appreciated how quickly they handled my issue. The staff was friendly, informative, and proactive. Landen was newer but worked hard to get me the help I needed. Other staff members, like Joseph, showed great attention when helping me find the right tires for my car at an affordable price. Honorable mentions to Rigo, Thomas, Shane, and Brandon who, in some way, helped with my car and the service I received that day. 10/10.
