First time here with my Mom at King Tire Shop in the City of Montclair. Before heading out for our SGV weekend run, we needed my Mom's van tires to be pumped as they looked a little deflated. They weren't too busy at the time. One of the service mechanics came out to assist us shortly upon our arrival. He was friendly and helpful. He got right to it... very fast at work. All four tires were pumped to standard air pressure in a jiffy. It was free of charge. My Mom and I appreciate the wonderful free service. Thank you! I discovered my undercarriage protector was dragging when I was driving my parents to lunch. And I pulled over to ghetto zip tie it up, but the part that detached was towards the center of the car and I couldn't reach. Given that it was a Sunday, most auto shops were closed. I loved my experience here ! I was in a last minute bind and needed a place near me to remove a nail from my tire. We called around and no one was open and available except this place ! They said to come on over and they would help me out. Right when I got there , it was a quick process ! They removed my nail, patched the hole, and put the tire back on in about 12 minutes . I'll say this, they are quick, they are friendly, but damn did they let me down. Went to them to get a plug, was in a hurry cause needed to do a pick up, they had me out of there in under 10 minutes and it was cheap. A few hours later, i went to get the tired plugged and patched since it was going to take longer but is more secure, unfortunately found out there was no plug, they had just removed the nail and then that was it. Nothing left to say, a lesson learned, maybe it would have been better if i wasn't in a rush, but i won't be coming back here. read more

They said they did an alignment on my truck , it still pulled after the new tires were put on..took it to another shop the next day found out king tire shop charged me 180 dollars for an alignment they didn't do..and gave me the print out from the alignment machine that wasn't even my vehicle. Really awful experience at this shop. I took my car here to get 2 tires changed. All 4 rims were in pristine condition upon my arrival. After my service was completed I noticed my front 2 rims were scratched and not in original form. Therefore, I took my car back for this to be acknowledged and unfortunately it was not. These men blamed me for the scratches and took some time to collaborate on their lies. One of the workers was pretty aggressive with his tone and kept insisting he would show video evidence. Even though he did not actually present the evidence. All in all, I went somewhere for a service and came home with damaged rims. And somehow I am responsible for this damage. Please refer to before and after photos. Apparently my photos were not sufficient evidence for them. Because according to them all my rims were rotated (this is the lie they all decided on). First 2 photos are before. Last 5 are after. Go here at your own risk and if needed see the video that these men so forcefully push on you. But then fail to provide access. Overall, awful, disrespectful, and untrustworthy staff. read more

Came into this shop with an absolute emergency flat. I had to drive on a flat and ended up with a head ring (bad, I know). I was in the area on business and needed to get it fixed ASAP and went to several shops and they did not want to help me. Going to Disneyland in March and hit a screw. 2 other tires places said it would be a 1-2 hour wait. Came here and within 20 minutes I was out with a fixed flat. 3 months later something caused the patch to leak. Went back and they fixed it no charge. I went by this place last week because I needed 2 tires and the older gentleman kept asking me the size of the tire I needed, tat was the 1st red flag. After about 10 min he came back and said he has 5 of them somewhere but unless I was going to get them he wasn't going to look, most would have told him to go f$#@ off but I asked to see 2 of them and he walked away from me and started helping someone else. It's a decent neighborhood tire place. I have conducted business a few times with them. First time, I needed to plug a tire in a hurry. Second time, I needed to replace all four tires on my car (they gave me a decent price for four new tires and took about a little less than 2 hours). Third time, I needed a set of gently used tires for my truck and Peter hooked me up; I waited there and took about 40 minutes.
