So about a week ago, I had four tires installed and balance, but this morning was the first time I drove it, my car, on the freeway, and I noticed the horrible shaking on the front tires, so I went and asked them if we could do anything about it since I got charged for mounting and balancing so the guy told me that it wasn't their deal. Tried to convince me to get a replacement tire but I declined it because I have warranty on my tires from an another company. When I took my car to claim my tire warranty from the tire company I realized that it was Hernandez tire shop ruined my perfectly good tire by sanding it too much from inside while they tried to patch it. I went here at "Hernandez Tire Shop" on a Saturday June 21,2025 I had a blown rear left tire , I had called them to ask for a tire replacement they picked up the phone with a rushing and loud tone in their voice. I went to get the tire replaced with a used one they charged $80 for the USED tire that they said just had a "patch" , when I gotten there they were very unapproachable. I asked if he would be able to check if my other tire had anything wrong with it because it was slowly losing air , one guy replied " it would be a waste of my time to check, you would be better off buying a used one". After the installment I noticed my rim had huge SCUFFS! On it, I had asked if it was some sort of fluid from the machine or was it a scuff , he replied "I didn't scratch it . My machines are professionally made for this" he said that with such a fast talking aggressive tone and the tire looked a little strange to me , when I gotten home the tire was deflated !!!... today on June 23 I went to another tire shop to buy new tire instead of buying used , they showed me the tire it had a HUGE NAIL HOLE! DO NOT GO HERE! Extremely overpriced and they take advantage of women seeking services. They drastically overcharged me for a used tire. A used tire typically cost $40, they charged me $70!! Then he said my nozzle was bad, which only cost &5 to replace at other shops, but he changed me $10 but claimed he typically charges $25, yeah right . I wish I would've brought a man with me, I feel completely taken advantage of. But lesson learned, I won't be back and I hope this serves a warning to anyone else considering their services. I rarely give one star ratings (I don't like doing it, actually), but this place has earned it! I went in for a simple flat repair and was told I needed a new tire. I asked him why, if there was plenty of "meat" on the tire and it wasn't in the sidewall? He said I could "risk it", but he'd recommend against it. So, despite paying other places around $10 to fix my tire, I rode off with a $30 tire I bought from him. What upset me most was that he told me I needed new struts, which is why my tires showed so much wear around the edges. He said the struts weren't strong enough to hold up the vehicle, which was causing the vehicle to rub against the tires. I asked him why none of the other tires didn't show that same wear? He said, "Oh, maybe it's only the strut on this side". I said, "doesn't it make sense that THIS tire shows more wear on the sides because it was riding FLAT (or flatter) for about a week and half, so it was kinda DRAGGING the tire instead of rotating? He says, "You can believe what you want." Well, I immediately drove the car to my regular mechanic, who took one look at the struts and the tires all around the car and said, "Your struts are fine." So, I don't know if the guy at Hernandez Tire Shop doesn't know what he's doing, or he's a scam artist. Either way, my overall experience should be reflected in the one star rating. read more

A few weeks ago my fiancé got a flat that required a little extra tlc and the gentleman at the shop got the job done quickly and efficiently. I just got a flat (nail in my tire) and luckily was just down the street so I took my car to them and they put on a used tire for $50. The lady at the front desk was super sweet and the gentleman who put my tire on worked quickly and was very kind as well he checked my other tires and put air in them for me at my request. We got a horrible flat tire in the first hour of a 5 hour drive to Vegas on a Friday night. Every shop was closing (it was 5 til 6pm) and this shop did us a solid stayed open an extra 30 minutes to help us out. Had a new tire on our car within 15 minutes and we were out of there and back on the road. It was very cool and they could have upcharged us for keeping them late but they gave us an extremely fair price considering the circumstances. Definitely go here for tires. read more

Beware!!! Lifted up my suv on the wrong spot. The guy placed the jack on the body underneath the door, just next to the rocker panel, which left a big dent. Good thing I caught it before my suv started dropping, which could have left the jack punching through. I had to explain to the guy that it wasn't the pinch weld that he was jacking up. His old location was Young's automotive in Mountain view. I won't take my car anywhere else. Elias is extremely knowledgeable, fair and takes pride in the work that he does on everyone's automobile. This was my first time going to this location for a tire replacement and I experience the worst service. I purchase a brand new tire for a replacement and ask for there assistance. Female employee quotes me $20 dollar for a tire replacement and balance. I'm not sure if the guy who was assisting me with the replacement was new or in training but he didn't know how to remove the tire of the rim. I was not happy cause he left my rim all scratch. Then he was about to put the new tire on the rim and he couldn't either. The female was helping him but also was lost. During the process the guy damage my tire when he force the tire on the rim. I thought I was screwed! But lucky the tire was able to maintain the air pressure. I don't recommend anyone to do business with them until they get a well trained employee. For now on I will pay more for quality service. read more

Few years ago I had an emergency blow out and was desperate to find a tire shop, I saw a man on the corner holding a sign. It's almost as if it was meant to be! I went to Hernandez shop and they replaced my tire with an option of a used one. Which I was interested in since my other tires weren't ready for replacement. He quickly replaced my tire a year later I got an enormous nail in my tire and frantically went searching for them. I went to their old spot and realized they moved across the street. The tattooed one quickly patched up my tire, by taking it off its rim and making sure it was taken care of from the inside of the tire as well as on the outside. He generously added air to the rest of my tires and I was set! I'll be going there again for my next set of wheels... for now, my patched up flat cost me only $15. read more
