I took my car in for a tire slow leak. I arrived at 7am after confirming on Firestone's website hrs of operation was listed 7am-6pm. Also, the open sign was lit & the door was open. Jovan, greeted me and stated they weren't open for business until 8am. Jovan/service manager was rude & unfriendly! Although I previously purchased a 4set of tires, and was the reason I took my vehicle there to receive warranty benefits. Here's an update 3 months after my visit / last review! 3 months ago I visited this location on a day off in hopes I would get new brake pads due to a noise I heard while coming to a brief stop. When I took my car here I was told by the technician that I would need a complete rotor / brake replacement along with bleeding & replacing fluid. The host explained that they would not re surface my rotors due to it having "too much damage". As I stated in my previous post I found that hilarious being that I just flushed my system & have worked on my own vehicles for years prior to know that the mechanic was completely bullshitting me. I fell into a guilt conscious considering the possibility that these technicians may know more than I so, I took initiative last Monday & decided to go to Sunland Auto Shop located off Foothill in Upland as well to get another opinion regarding my brakes & their condition. Dominic of Sunland let me know that I had NOTHING wrong with my current rotors, & the pads still even had 7mm left of padding on them!! He also said new brake pads are at 13mm & the time to worry about them being replaced should be at 3mm in width and that Firestone lied! So here I am leaving another review to reconfirm that the technicians at this location are full of it & are too lazy to be attentive to their tasks as needed! To top it off, I ended up buying 4 new tires at Sunland, keeping my brakes & rotors and am now on my way to Arizona for the holidays! The car doesn't make a noise when braking as Dominic explained they may make noise due to cold weather. Sunland Auto Shop has provided WAY BETTER service! They also put full seat covers in my interior to make sure they weren't messing up my crème seats. FIRESTONE OF UPLAND NEEDS TO BE MANAGED PROPERLY & HIRE PEOPLE WHO GIVE A FUCK ABOUT OTHERS & CONSIDER THE FACT THAT PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF ARE AWARE OF THEIR VEHICLES AND CONDITIONS OF THEIR CARS! First off, I wouldn't go here any other time it just so happened that I got a flat right in front of this shop. So I go in I am having my tire inspected to see if it would be repairable or not. I forgot the guys name, but he told me it was not repairable. It was almost bald by the way, it wasn't and was trying to sell me on a new tire for over $200 and even offered his employee discount. I'm not dumb and I know about tires regardless if I'm a woman. I turned down the offer and go up the street to one of the, family owned smaller tire stops, and the guy chuckled when I told him what was just said, and he gladly patched it up for me for $10 and received a $20 tip It's actually kind of sad how money hungry some people in this world can be just do your job genuinely treat people with respect and good things will come to you on their own. Fast and helpful service! Since my Ford Quick Lube store is closed due to COVID-19 I found this company close by to do an oil change and alignment on my tires. The use of mask is required. They do let you wait inside the store which is nice. It took about 2 hours for them to do an oil change and a alignment on my Expedition. They were busy and still got me out at a reasonable time . Also Chris handled all customers with respect and gave honest answers. Been here once before and both times had a decent experience. Employees were both knowledgeable, professional and pleasant to deal with. I had been calling around for a price for a brake fluid exchange. They gave me a somewhat reasonable price of about $90. Told them I would pass as I had a lower price from another place. I told him he was $11 higher and would be happy to "match". Tired of shopping around so I agreed. I brought it in the next day and told the person who checked me in what I needed done and the price. No hassle at all, did not check my story and wrote it up. She told me about 1 1/2 hours, which I thought was a little long, but no big deal. My very minor complaint is no complimentary coffee, so I had to leave to buy some. It's probably the only car repair shop I have ever been in without coffee. Anyway,they finished in a little less than an hour, did not try to upsell and charged me exactly what they said they would. I noticed a banner on the wall that said 10% off for veterans, so I did ask if I would get that, but she graciousl said, it's either vet discount or the price match. Please, don't go here. I received a break Jobe here one year ago. They charged me 1300 dollars. I didn't have the funds so I opened a credit card. I have paid $100 a month and I'm still at $800 dollars. I had them check my A/C because it wasn't working. They said my compressedrer was broken...they wanted 2,300. Turns out the fuse was blown. Obviously, they are Incentivized by sales! Im literally paying for someone's daughter to go to college. This is why people take their car to mom and pops shops! Firestone! READ ME! EXPOSE DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES: Greatest dissappointment. I am simply speechless. But I feel like i have a duty to expose dishonest business practices. They basically didnt care that they were screwing me over so they can sell another tire. Had a slow leek, called fire stone, asked if theyre busy and they can take care of me right away. They said, "sure, comeon by" Went in, they told me i have to wait till 6pm. I came in at 3. They said they didnt know workers were leaving early together. Fair enough, i dont have proof if they lied or not just to get me in. Gave them benefit of the doubt. Then I made an appointment for the next day, first thing in the morning at 7am. They said it will be taken care of right away (even though i had a feeling they were lying) Dropped off my car at 7am, double checked with them if they will work on it right away, they said "yes". Called back at 10:30am to check, they said "yes its being worked on" Got a call back at 12:30pm (only 5 and a half hours to check slow leak for one tire). They informed me that it was unfixable, and said i need to buy a tire. I immediately stopped him and said, "i have good year f1 a3 on all 4 wheels, your best recommendation is for me to buy a completely different tire to run with my other 3 good year?" He didnt really know how to respond and basically said "yes" Fortunately I know enough about tires and used common sense to plan out my next move. I drove my car to my own tire shop ive used for 10 years. They just laughed when u explained to them what happened, fixed my leak in 10 minutes. It was only $10, but I gave $30. Ive attached the picture or my damaged tire as proof. So think about what just happened, they completely didnt care about how badly they were screwing me over by lying to me that my tire was unfixable just so they can try to convince me to change all 4 set of my tires because they knew I didnt have a spare. Oh and they only took 5 and a half hours when my car was the first to be dropped off at 7am. Then again when you have no financial motivation because it doesnt look like i need to pay much, its no surprise they pushed my job to the side and finished all the paying jobs first. Maybe im too harsh, maybe none of this was intentional. But the alternative theory is that everyone working there was simply "incompetent". But it doesnt excuse what happened. Which is worst? WARNING: DO NOT COME HERE! I brought in my 2015 Subaru Crosstrek because it felt like the car battery was going out. I spoke to Chris and I was seen right away. The mechanic gave me a paper slip stating that the battery state of charge (SOC) was at 37%. I told him shouldn't it be at 100%? He said to think about changing it. As I was about to leave, he gave me another paper slip stating the battery state of charge (SOC) at 100%. I was very confused. I came home and inputed both VIN numbers on a website: none of the paper slips that were given to me were the VIN number to my car! Horrible, horrible! I came here for a simple oil change, on a Monday (late) afternoon. There were a couple of customers in front of me, but it took me a whole hour and a half from start to finish. Staff was friendly and professional, but vague and no sense of urgency. The front waiting room was dirty as if vacuuming would be too much to ask. Then my dad reminded me that the manager here was from Redlands (where my parents from). Then I decided to called this place. Sure enough it was Chris the manager. He recognized when I told him about my dad and how he actually helped my dad so much with his car and last time my dad got me new tires also with his helped. Long story short. I have been using Firestone for general maintenance for many years, starting with the Hesperia, CA shop and then moved closer to this one awhile back. Today I was about 7 miles away when my voltage light came on, so I headed straight over to Firestone. As I came to the intersection nearest their shop, my FJ Cruiser stalled, so I pushed it to the shop about 50 yrds of street and driveway. They were busy, but were able to push it into a spot and look at it within 30 min. I found out my alternator was failing and damaged my failrly old battery, requiring a replacement of both. I'm grateful that I already had a Firestone Credit card for this very emergency. So, on a busy day, they are currently replacing my battery, alternator and serpentine belt which they saw had cracking, and they said they'd take the extra time to do a synthetic oil change as well, since I'm driving it to Idaho next week! And there's Chris, manning the phones and ensuring everyone gets served in a timely manner. Attentive and professional. When I left the shop, my issue was resolved. And where I'd expected to spend much more as I brought the vehicle in with expectations of a costly repair, the techs here were able to diagnose the real problem - which ended up to be much less of a financial hit. On April 24th of 2020 I got an alignment done as soon as I installed my new tires elsewhere, I was guaranteed a 12 month warranty with the SAI alignment that I needed but just after 5 months I started seeing my tire tread in the front tires uneven baldness due to the misalignment after only 5,000 miles! I'm disappointed in the fact that I was guaranteed a 12 month warranty but lied to as well as apparently checking my suspension and wheel saying it's good specifications were incorrect as well. I spoke to the advisor Ashley and said that they aren't held responsible for the tires that had been Misaligned from the first place I would not recommend aligning your tires here. read more

This location does not do well with appointments and they schedule multiple clients at the same appointment time. Even if you have the same appointment time as the other 5 appointments and arrive before them, you can still end up as the last one serviced of the group. I don't know if it's due to the crisis but customer service was horrible there was one gentleman that helped us keep in mind we pulled up with a flat tire and it took about ten minutes till someone Approached us then we clearly said that we didn't have a lock for the tires Because we had just purchased a car and they didn't have the proper tools to even break the lock we stood there for about 30 minutes and no one helped us all we got was a little bit of air in our tire and questioned again why we didn't have the lock so we left and the tire place down the street from this place actually helped us within 15 minutes we were out of their tire shop !!
