Although this place doesn't look too impressive from the outside, both the service and the food are fantastic. If you order coffee, each table is given their own carafe full of coffee. We ordered the Philly cheese steak omelette and the cowboy skillet. Although the cook has a heavy hand when it comes to onions, the steak was perfectly prepared. 105 Cafe is the quintessential local breakfast joint that has all the favorites and a few twists to keep everyone happy. The wait can be a bit longish - but the service is quick and we haven't ever had to wait more than 15-20 minutes. The food is always delivered complete (no one waits for their meal) and it's hot and cooked as specified. It's hard to find this level of quality and consistency. The fruit was fresh and delicious with my meal and my husband enjoyed his classic. We also ordered a waffle for the table as a treat and it was fluffy and yet still crisp on the outside. I have been here many times since my first review, but this visit had me wanting to update it. I was in Conroe for an appointment this morning. When it was over, I was very much in need of something to eat. Stephanie was my server and helped me choose from a few options I had and n mind. Her recommendation was spot on. I was looking at a simple egg, bacon and potato meal- simple, easy and straight forward. I really did not want a large amount of food to eat. And probably would have been happy with one egg, bacon and grits. We asked about the Irishman skillet. And she started to beam. She spoke well of it and said she loved it, but it was big. I followed her recommendation and ordered eggs over easy and rye toast. It was served in a cast iron fajita style platter and was piled high. The eggs were cooked to absolute perfection and if you have read my other breakfast reviews, I am hard to please with eggs. It tasted great, plenty of onions and peppers, perfect potatoes and more corned beef (real corned beef, not a can) than I could have imagined. It came with rye toast (you can choose other breads) that to me is awesome. I will say that this could feed two people easily. I ate less than half and one of the eggs and will eat the other half for lunch. The only thing I could possibly ask for in the future is a half order (does not exist) or just ask them to put half of it in a Togo container right away. It was that large. This is a great restaurant. We had lunch Thursday and the food and service was outstanding. Ordered a Ruben sandwich and it was the best I ever had. The corned beef was shredded and steaming hot on rye with a great sauce and sauerkraut. We also ordered the chicken BLT. Was awesome! Fries are perfect and Cole slaw was some of the best ever. Our kids loved their pancakes and bacon and I loved my French toast with eggs. I asked for my eggs to be cooked over medium and they were cooked perfectly. 105 Cafe is a charming little breakfast restaurant in Conroe, offering a small town feel. You can tell that the workers really know their frequent customers on a personal level. I like that. The smoked salmon scramble was delicious! The smoked salmon scramble consisted of scrambled eggs, several chunks of smoked salmon, a scoop of cream cheese, and dill dispersed on top. Probably a half dozen eggs were used for the creating of my entree. I would have never thought to use cream cheese in scramble eggs, but why not? Now it makes perfect sense, making scrambled eggs enhanced and creamier. I love smoked salmon, but this is certainly the same kind of smoked salmon as that in the grocery store. The biscuit was hard and forgettable. I had a wonderful meal here, and have started incorporating cream cheese into my scrambled eggs. Genius! read more

The place is small but amazing!! Everyone is very friendly and if you're a regular the owner typically remembers you. They have a loyalty card too, after 10 entrees you get the 11th one free! Sunday brunch at its finest here. Coffee comes in a stay hot carafe. Service is friendly and fast. I chose the spinach, feta and mushroom omelet with bacon. It was excellent- next time I would get bacon on the side instead of inside the omelette as it loses its crisp nature with eggs baked around it. Otherwise perfection in eggs here.
