While savoring this meal my husband was craving for yummy hot rasam and we were served piping hot pachi pulusu style rasam freshly tempered with loads of aromatics. the best for throat on a cool day. We also had salt lassi which was super refreshing and in cute cup with lids. The restaurant owner and head chef is managed by the same person whom we and folks at Ahaa referred to her as Akka (a term for elder sister in Telugu). Had to place orders for Puri , Pesarattu and dosa before you start your breakfast.. once you order , you can go ahead and start the buffet breakfast.. lots and lots of food to eat. Idly , vada . Pongal , upma , poori, podi dosa, pesarattu, and few more ! Poori masala was awesome ! Like home made pooris . Really soft . Idly and 3 different types of chutneys was good. My fav was the allam pachadi- ginger chutney . Was delicious . Vadai was very average . Crispy from outside but not that cooked from inside . Vadai made in machine has this issue . Upma was good. Pongal too: podi dosa was super duper . Didn't like oesarattu much .! Chai was good . Overall a paisa vasool breakfast . Nice and wish we have such restaurants in NJ ! (88: experience . 4 stars .

Staff is super friendly and patient with Americans who don't know the menu and can't pronounce the menu. I've had 4 visits in 1 week. They are very accommodating and "Uncle" is the chef. I've focused on the tandoori chicken (leg/thigh) and chicken tikka (breast meat). Perfect flavor - I mean really good!! When I go for lunch, the cook is perfect and the meat is very moist. However, during the dinner rush, the chicken tikka gets a bit over cooked and is on the dry side (but not cotton dry!). My suggestion is to order it with "no black areas from the grill". That will ensure it remains moist. While I know & cook Indian food at home, this dish I can't do and always got out for. Absolutely high quality and well made food! (Getting chicken tiki masala Monday! Can't wait!)

The Momo65 was a clear winner between the 2 types we ordered. The noodles were a bit too salty for my taste and didn't give the opportunity for other flavor profiles to shine. The added bonus was free box of pulav, which was a very nice gesture. One recommendation to the restaurant is to give additional raitha, which most restaurants miss. I haven't had vada pav sliders before but the filling is kind of like fried samosa filling without the dough. It's good. The serving size of the biryani was very impressive. You can see from the photo that they fill the container and then add another mound of rice on top of that - basically 2 servings (we took one home). And they didn't skimp on the chicken either! The chicken is cooked perfectly, the sauces are a great complement and this is an excellent dish. The Lunch Thali gives you a lot of bang for your buck and mine included ~5 pieces of fish fry, about the same amount of veg pakora, yogurt dip, chicken curry with rice, 2 different soups, a naan/tortilla thing, and a carrot dessert (like a halwa). All had good flavor and the soups have a nice spicy kick to them. However, since all the dishes for the thali come off the lunch line (ie all premade), the tortilla, fish and pakoras had been sitting out for awhile and not too hot. Had they come out fresh from the fryer, I might have given this experience 5 stars. As it stands, I'll probably be back for lunch anyways - and the thali is available 7 days a week!
