terrible service unfortunately. unresponsive, slow waiters. they just stand around until you call them over - despite there being literally no one in the restaurant. expensive too. mid momos. read more

food was mediocre at best. service was terrible, we waited 30 minutes before we took out order and it wasn't busy at all. after we ordered, we got our main meals but never got our side dishes like naan. we asked the waiter (which was never around and never asked if we were okay) where our naan was, she said just a few more minutes. we then finished all our food and an hour later the naan comes out COLD. read more

So good! We ordered take out to bring to a brewery and everything was yummy. The masala momos were everyone's favorite. I highly recommend!!

Everything is delicious, staff is kind. Nice vibe inside - outdoor seating looked cute last year. I'm obsessed with the gobi manchurian. Just typing the words now make me want to order two servings of it. I also love the chicken tikka masala. read more

Very tasty Indian and Nepalese food! My husband, daughter, and I had the place to ourselves on a Sunday for dinner. The staff were very nice and brought my toddler some blueberries while we waited for our food. I ordered her the kid's momo dumplings, for myself the paneer biryani, and my husband got the chicken tikka masala. We also ordered some plain naan to share. While waiting, I ordered the midori sour - a melon liquor cocktail with soda water and a cherry on top. It was refreshing and not too sweet. All the food was delicious! The biryani is rice flavored with garlic, tomatoes and other spices. So flavorful and I had quite a bit to take home. The tikka masala was cooked perfectly. My daughter liked the momo dumplings and tried all the food. We will definitely be back! read more

Overrated expensive Nepali place. Although the ambiance is good and this might be the only few Nepali restaurants with a bar but they barely ever have full service. Ambiance - good Food - mediocre Customer service - horrible Staff isn't trained well. They couldn't handle a simple constructive criticism. PLEASE DO NOT SEND UNCOOKED FOOD OUT THE KITCHEN. If not for the customers at least for the sake of Board of Health. This is a poorly run business. Sad to have to write this review. Also the business owner could respond better to the negative comments instead of telling people to find another place to go. read more

Very cool vibe with a cozy bar feel that serves some great comfort Nepali food. They have great momos in various forms. There indo/Nepali dishes are also very delicious please try it when you are close in boston might be the best place to get momos and I am certified momo specialist read more

Zuzu Momo - Steam MOMO, Guinness beer, French Fries (Vegan) - Indian Near Me - Everett, Massachusetts

I suggest they change their name to something more honest such as "hey should I go here? Yu, Yu, No-NO". Not zuzu momo that is how bad my experience was, the only thing worse was my bad joke! I Should have known when I walked in and it was empty. I relied on past posts which must have been a lot of friends and relatives and / or just locals. Expensive, smelly, Bland food. Slow / bad service (basic requests like an ice water? No paper towels or dryer in the men's room, etc). Expensive and incredibly overrated. I would avoid this spot. Hope this helps read more

Hands down my FAVORITE Indian food in Boston. ZuZuMoMo NEVER disappoints. It's incredible. Their samosas are the best I've ever had.

We had difficulty ordering online. Once it got resolved, then food was able to arrive! Every dish were so good and fulfilling. Highly recommend it. read more

Food taste is ok, but it feels frozen and then reheated. Some parts of the plate were almost room temperature (?). It was a clean place overall, but the ice and water tasted a little weird. The samosas I ordered didn't looked anything like the photos they posted here. The water glass had lots of stain on it. It was empty, and we waited for some time for the food - since there was just us in the restaurant, I thought it would be faster. It wasn't the worse thing ever, but I wouldn't recommend and go again. Too expensive for the experience. read more

Great food and great staff! Everything tasted fantastic, the chicken tikka masala was one of the best me the crew have ever had. The Momos were incredible of course. read more

I ordered extra spicy curry, but it was not spicy enough even after adding the two included containers of hot sauce. Most indian places will make me regret in a pool of sweat when I order extra spicy. The website doesn't state if rice included with the curry order but it was; don't make my mistake of ordering extra basmati rice. The garlic naan was extremely tough and difficult to rip apart. The shrimp pakora is basically 6 pieces of shrimp tempura with a bit of salad, which was OK. read more

Do yourself a solid and buy the new road style C Mo mo. Had no idea what to expect with this.... our whole fam destroyed them. The flavor! It's truly hard to pinpoint what it was. Little Sichuan, little Indian, tons of flavor! Would like to try the very spicy version but the kids were sharing... next time....Should have bought more! Tikka masala- superb. Butter chicken. Very good, but not the best I've had. Slightly thicker than typical Indian restaurants. If we lived in Boston this place would be a go-to! I'd like to go back and try nothing but a variety of the Mo Mo dumplings. read more

Service was amazing. I order the butter chicken, but I didn't really like it due to it being really tomato-Ish. Overall, not a bad spot for a quick bite. read more

These guys and gals are simply wonderful. The outdoor space of charming. The bar has an impressive selection of local Micros! (So rare in authentic ethnic cuisine) The vibe is happy, energetic and welcoming. You know you've hit upon a gem the moment you walk in. But it gets better. Oh so much better! I can honestly say that both the food and the service are among the very best that this foodie has had anywhere! I do mean anywhere. 4 years ago, my wife and I went to England and while in London, we had Tibetan or Indian food every night. Nothing I had there compares with this chef. He's a magician! Go with the staff recommendations. You will be guided toward culinary delights by some of the nicest people you have ever met. The staff are so sweet, humble and friendly, you'll feel like a long time, valued, customer by the time your drinks arrive. Oh, and strangely enough, get a side of French fries. This Eastie, Royals snob, thinks that they could go toe to toe with them. read more

Love this place!! Hubby picked up takeout yesterday. We got the steamed chicken momos with chipotle mayo sauce, street-style samosas, and tato jhol momos. It was so delicious and I can't wait to try the items next time! read more

Fantastic food! I really enjoyed the chili chicken, and such a nice change of pace. This would be a 5 star review, but the service was terrible. The food was brought out at random intervals. Our rice was brought out 10 minutes after our main dish. Very disappointing. There was only one other table at the entire restaurant, so I'm not sure shy service was so bad. Overall, I would visit again! read more

Ordered takeout last night and my partner picked it up. We've eaten momos all over Boston and these were some of the best! Perfect dough, and even the filling on the "naked" ones was amazing before dipping into the sauce. We ordered the Kothey and the New Road Style C (one was chicken and one was pork but I can't remember which was which). The New Road style came in a chili sauce that was pretty spicy for a "medium" -- we love heat and could definitely handle it but others may want to order a mild if they are sensitive to heat. We also ordered the paneer chili (one of my favorite dishes) which was solid, a side of lemon rice (yummy!) and the chicken Sekuwa which was tender, perfectly charred, and sooooooo delicious (def squeeze that lemon on there!). We are gluttons so we each ate uncomfortably large portions for dinner, and I have a normal-human-sized portion leftover for lunch today! They definitely seemed like they had just opened--because they are brand new!! The person who answered the phone and took our order didn't seem super confident in their menu item knowledge, and they underestimated the amount of time it takes to cook the chicken dish, but these things are TOTALLY understandable when you are a new restaurant and didn't impact my appreciation and delight in the food in any way. As mentioned in another review, their full menu is not updated on Uber Eats, but once it is we will definitely be ordering more, as Uber Eats delivers to East Boston, whereas the restaurant's delivery only extended to Everett, Malden, Medford, and Revere (according to them when we called last night). We aren't dining indoors yet due to covid, but their drink menu looks exciting and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu!! read more

Ordered Friday night takeout from this "new kid on the block," and we are so excited to welcome them to the neighborhood. First of all, the delivery was quick and easy, which is a plus. We ordered the special momo dish, with pork, my wife had the paneer chili, and I had the butter chicken. All of it was absolutely delicious. The sauce/toppings on the momo were delicious and spicy, and the pork was flavored wonderfully. The butter chicken was a good compliment, the creaminess helped even out the spice. The paneer chili was also super good, but rather similar to the special momo dish in flavor, and very spicy. All in all we are satisfied customers and can't wait to sample as much of their menu as possible. Welcome! So glad you're here!!! read more

Momos are a must try. This place is so cozy, food is unbelievably good and service is tops. The wait staff are so friendly and attentive but honestly I'd go for the food even if the service wasn't great. My husband and I travel 45 mins to eat here and it's so worth it. read more

My stomach might have to put a ring on that restaurant's finger... and that's rare for me to say after just 1 visit. Upon entry, clearly it's a cute place and it was easy to place a reservation during brunch time, well... for now. Side note... the photographer took great food photo's which was luring as well as reading the menu. Next, it was a pleasure to officially be the first outside dining customer, as they just finished the layout the night before, so my date and myself broke it in. Our service person, Ana (one of a kind) took care of me right from the jump... acknowledged my existence upon entry, displayed her honesty, and knew what she was talking about in regards to the menu. Also, while talking to her, there were a few firsts for me like she really appreciated/promoted the owners of the restaurant. And although we were told by the owner we were the outside first, I honestly thought they were customers because he never introduced himself... sort of humble about it. So with all that said, and to get down to it... the drinks were good, the food was phenomenal upon first bite and the price point is perfect with a doggie bag expectation. So like I mentioned my firsts... my conversation with Ana was the longest of any human being ever and probably cause it was light day but we were completely zoned and had a great variety type conversation. I'm an introvert but connect with great vibes people and she was above and beyond on all levels. I would love that organic experience all the time but knew that was a one of kind situation. My only downside... The kitchen closed at a certain time so I couldn't order my wings... and even though I was there when it re-opened for the kitchen, I pledged to wait another day... hence the 4 stars. Thanks to everyone at Zuzu, not only cause it's new and took a risk to open during Covid, but for being a great place. Get in while you can cause it's going to get bonkers there. read more

Wonderful food, incredibly overpriced. I ordered takeout - tandoori masala wings and jhol momo. The jhol momo was average price, but was listed as a soup. It arrived with very little liquid, a half full container, and was not nearly enough for all the dumplings. The masala wings turned out to be average/small sized and there were only six of them - for nearly $22. I will not be returning. read more

Its relatively new restaurant mainly for Nepali x Indian food. The food was tasty, made spicy or moderate as per request. The ambiance was contemporary and cozy. The partitions were made during covid times. Though the dining space is not spacious. We ordered potato chilly, which was good better to order moderate or less in spice level as they take their spice levels seriously vegetable steamed momo was packed with flavor with creamy chutney. Chicken lollipop and chicken biryani was delicious as per my husband's opinion. They don't have a set up for naan or bread yet but probably we can expect that in near future. Mohito and lychitini was on the sweeter side. I would prefer lychitini. We had yomari for dessert. Yomari is rice dumpling filled with khoya or jaggary mixture as per your choice. We had a khoya filling. It was something new and it was tasty. It's on the same line of 'modak'. read more

The food is good but definitely not worth waiting over 45 minutes when you already placed an order ... I called then arrive 45 minutes later and still had to wait for me food ... Was on a search for a Friday night dinner spot with my husband and we're both so happy we decided to give this spot a chance. Everything we ordered was absolutely phenomenal with great portions. The waiter was attentive but not overbearing. The ambiance was great to allow for a night out if you're looking to grab some drinks with delicious food, but not too fancy where you feel like you have to put hours into getting ready for dinner. DEFINITELY going to be added to the top of our go to restaurants! Highly recommend!! read more

I ordered takeout from here last week and it was great! The chicken chili was flavorful with a good amount of heat. The pork momo tikka masala was tasty and not something I'd seen on a menu before and the samosa chaat was delicious and paired well to balance out the spiciness of the chicken chili. Love this place! read more

Amazing! Finally found the right biriyani!!! So good. Perfectly spiced. Chicken 65 was great Chinese/Indo mix. Samosas could be a tad bigger. I love them stuffed, but the flavor was spot on. Steamed veggie dumplings also good! Gobi Manchurian had a lot of onions and peppers that I wish were a little more cooked, but good nonetheless. Will definitely be returning for the biriyani. It's been a long and wide search since we left JMP (arguably one of the best biriyanis) delivery area and Zuzu Momo is on par if not better! Must try again to decide!!! read more

Best food and drinks and lots of variety with amazing flavors!. Being from Dallas, I have tried all the Nepalese resturant from Dallas and must say MOMO's at ZUZU is the best. This was our first time dining here. I have been wanting to try it for a while. Like any where parking can be tricky but we found a spot. The momos were delicious! We had tikka masala and the new spicy ones. My husband loved the hot sauce that came with appetizer platter. There were so many things we wanted to try but will save them for future visits! Oh and the mango lassi is a must! Absolutely delicious! The service was top notch too! All around 5 star dining experience! Can't wait to go back. read more

Such a yummy and awesome place for anyone who loves Nepali food. From innovative drinks to the Nepali food favorites of momos in multiple different preparation, I was wowed by each bite.
