The restaurant is also really clean, which is always a plus. I usually get the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen with medium heat , along with the chicken karaage and gyoza. Everything has been really solid so far. For sushi, I'd definitely recommend the Rainbow Roll, Tiger Roll, and Jalapeños Pop Roll. If you like spicy food, the Jalapeños Pop Roll is a must-try. Really good ramen, sushi, and friendly service. I'll definitely keep coming back.

The sushi rolls are creative enough to stand out from your local sushi restaurant but not over the top that the flavors get so mixed up that you're not sure what you're eating. The star of the show is their truffle escolar. I can't say more than if you are a fan of sashimi, then you will want to get this to be the first and last dish you order.

The service was great, and the quality of the sushi and udon were delicious! The ice cream was good too. Now one warning: the fried/tempura appetizers and pieces are not freshly made (my suspicion). Definitely had the flavor and texture of premade fried foods frozen and shipped in a sysco bag. So setting aside the somewhat disappointing fried shrimp, onion rings, scallops; Im still giving it 5 stars because as an all you can eat buffet pricing goes, and the quality nigiri, its still a great location!!

We walked in a weekday night and found the dining area quite small and full, except for their final open table next to the entrance. We took that spot and found out 'the hard way' they have those dastardly uncomfortable metal chairs. Not only is the seat firm and not cushioned, the bar that wraps around pinches in on your hip. We almost left but decided to tough it out. Our server was attentive and friendly and our order came out quite quickly. We ordered a few specialty rolls like their sweet potato roll, dragon roll and caterpillar roll. I also ordered a salmon sashimi. All of the rolls were well presented and best of all, tasty! It's not near the best sushi I've had, but it filled the craving we had. The wall murals and decor were simple but classy. We also noticed the noise level was good despite many people in a small space. Overall, this is a nice little neighborhood spot for sushi and worth a visit!

Reviews are very good and so we gave it a try on a Saturday evening. When we arrived there were 2 people eating at the sushi counter, otherwise it was empty. For me, this place is personally 3.5/5. Everything was decent but nothing I would rave about. And that might just be me, because people love this place in other reviews. It was possibly just a bunch of little things that made me think it's just okay. I thought the texture of sushi rice was a bit too soft, I know it's sticky rice but I felt like it was a little over cooked and too soft. I also thought both of my rolls tasted exactly the same. Which thankfully I thought were good tasting. The stuffed jalapeños were definitely a miss, they were so under fried so mostly a mush of ingredients in a jalapeño. And initially I liked the karaage but had a couple of tough pieces, so overall that was just okay. Miso soup was solid. And I realize that the appetizers are cooked in the back and not by sushi chef, and people rave about the chef. However like I said, both rolls seemed pretty similar tasting and one was supposed to be more spicy. All very standard flavors, like I would expect from AYCE sushi. I think I'm just looking for more delicate flavors with higher quality pieces of fish. I likely should have tried some of the special items listed on the rotating items board near the sushi bar. Next time we go back I'll try sitting at the sushi bar and trying some speciality items. People have said this is the best way to enjoy this place. We will likely come back during a lunch or happy hour special, if I like it better and I can upgrade my review I'd be happy to give this small, local family run business all the stars.

The first time I came was when they originally opened, so had a few hiccups and sushi was okay. Now years later, I would have expected better quality fish, rolls, the way they cut their fish etc. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. Came with a friend, she said she enjoyed this place. I ended up ordering two rolls for myself. Can't remember the names now, but the rolls were flavorless even with sauces that went on top (I actually asked for more and still didn't have much flavor), the cuts of fish were very skimpy/thin and uneven, my sushi rolls themselves also lacked ingridients inside and were so small. As shown in my pictures. I ended up taking the left overs home to show my spouse and to see what he thought, thinking maybe my taste buds were off, and I was being extra and he was in shock that I actually ate some of it and didn't say anything. For rolls costing $15+ I would hope for a bit thicker cuts of fish since that's what I'm paying for, not closer to paper thin... I was truly so disappointed.
