Anyways, I went with a friend to this place one day after he was yapping all this nonsense about "Zorba's is the best blahh blahh blahh, It's better than IN-N-OUT!!!" After that extremely bold statement, I HADD to try this place. And while it was not better than IN-N-OUT(IN-N-OUT is better than every (insert hyped up fast food joint here)!! ), their Zorba burger was AMAZZZING. I asked them to put fresh avocado on their burger(which they'll put on any burger) and that just made the burger that much better. OOO and the soda machine is CRAZZY. I promise I was in front of that thing until I got my food trying ever crazy concoction I can imagine. They have over 100 different flavors. Here's my list btw: Lime Fanta- Pretty good, tasted like it sounded to be honest. Orange Coke- Woww, i was expecting a fail on this one, but it was pretty interesting to say the least. Not bad at all. Peach Sprite- Probably the best thing here. Vanilla Sprite- EWW, this was disgusting. An embarrassment to soda and an embarrassment to the entire Sprite industry. Water- Why would I get water when I have 100+ flavors to choose from? Seriously?!? I only put water on this list because water was used to clean my cup so I can try the next flavor. hahahah read more

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. It tasted just like a Big Mac from McDonald's, but I paid about 50% more than I would have for a comparable meal at McDonald's. And to top it off, the place was FILTHY. For example, to have ketchup for my fries, I had to grab a nasty looking ketchup bottle from out of a plastic tub of grossness that's lined with dirty napkins. I walked in hoping to have a "good old fashioned burger" as advertised in other reviews, but I left telling myself "I would have preferred dining in at a McDonald's". One should never PREFER McDonald's. If you want a good cheap burger, go to a reputable fast food restaurant. If you want a good real burger, go somewhere pricier like Hero's downtown. Don't go here. Yaaa!!! The zorba burger yaaa!!! Just imagine those typical fatass burger joints; this is one of them. I've had the zorba burger and the chilli cheese fries, and both are so good I don't want to try anything else. The Zorba burger is a regular burger with pastrami stuffed in. The chilli cheese fries was sooooo yummy.... and its cheap too (around $3-4 for a big box) Also it should be mentioned that they have two of the coolest soda machines ever! The burgers are okay, I like that they have pastrami but when I order a bacon cheeseburger and I get a regular burger, I'm a little disappointed. I walk back to the restaurant from my truck to let them know, she said I needed my receipt even though the cashier right there told her thats what I ordered. So I walk back to my truck to get my receipt and she doesn't even have them make the burger right this time! She hands me 2 little pieces of shriveled up bacon in a little bowl like that is fixing their mistake. The tacky customer service does not make up for the food so they just lost me as a customer. Great Place to eat. They make some really mean and great tasting burgers. Even their veggie burgers are great, which is really good when i bring my girlfriend who is a vegetarian. The fries are really good, but tell them to substitute mushrooms instead ...the mushrooms are delicioussss. The soda machine is really cool too, its one of those new coke machines that has all different types of flavors of coca cola drinks. I always passed this place, but never really went in, it doesn't look like much. But a friend took me there and now i keep craving it..their burgers are just so good. Best burger place in town! If you've tried The Hat's pastrami burger, I guarantee you that this place will top that! They have superb pastrami burgers, fried mushrooms, and french fries. To add onto all of that, they have a 106 flavors soda machine! Refill all you want, experiment with all the different flavors all you want! Zorba's is in the middle of nowhere, but it's relatively close to UCR, so students, GO HERE. They have two soda machines that each dispense 106 combinations of drinks. Their burgers are the size of my face. It's a hyperbole, but the burgers are still pretty huge. I recommend the pastrami burger. The fries that came with it were crispy, but not burnt, just the way I like them. The only downside that I can think of is that it's a little pricey, but you really do get what you pay for since the burgers are so big. I wish they had smaller portions, but oh well. The burgers are amazing. The interior design has an old diner type of feel, which is what they were going for. It's clean and not very busy if you want a late lunch. read more

At first I didn't think this place was anything special from the looks of it exterior wise. But their zorba's burger with pastrami was awesome and very filling. The burger came with loads of pastrami it was just too hard to take a first bite out of. The fries were pretty good too and the soda machine they have there is freaking awesome! It's one of the machines where you use a touch screen to select what soda you want then with some of the soda such as sprite, you can select a flavor like orange, grape, etc.... I'm typically not a burger person, but this place supposedly has some of the best burgers in town. There are often car and motorcycle meets in the parking lot, so parking may be a challenge if you pick the wrong time. Came by the other night, and it seems like the quality has gone a little downhill from previous times I have went. I ordered the cheeseburger combo, and the patty was fresh. This place is the place to go for a great pastrami type burger. I've only been once so far but I got a great first impression. I ordered the Zorba burger which was pretty much a cheese burger with pastrami added to it. Now their burgers to begin with were very big, with a generous portion of, what I believe was, Angus beef and american cheese. The burger was amazing and I loved every bite. It tastes even better with barbecue sauce. They also have this cool soda machine that lets you pick from all the usual soda flavors and adds other flavoring to them. For example, I choose coke and it gave me about 5 different flavoring options. Pretty neat, especially since its a touch screen system. So, so good!! We came here to pick up food for the family and the owner and workers are really. It was my first time here (my bf is a regular) and I love how this place looks! The prices are just right, they offer a variety of food, everything is cook fresh, and the soda machine is so cool! Grabbed a cherry coke and a vanilla coke zero. Another must if you're a UCR student/Riverside local. Zorbas is owned by the nicest man ever. One year my friends and I came and sat in a booth for dinner, the owner came to chat with us, we told him we were UCR students...then left and came back with a gift certificate that would pay for our whole meal (mind you, there were 5 of us). I always order the cheeseburger combo (comes with a drink and fries). The burger never disappoints, and the french fries are thick steak fries. The soda machine is the special kind, loaded up with a ton of flavours and sodas etc. My personal favorite mixtures are Raspberry-Lime Coke or Peach-Raspberry Iced Tea. read more

Put a ton of A1 on it if you get it. Iced Tea is good. Whats better are the soda machines if you eat in. Lime Ginger Ale is good, as is Vanilla Cherry Coke. DO NOT even TRY those pickles on the condiment shelf. Do use the hot sauce in a bottle. Service is fast but pushy and boorish. Im talking about the ownership, not the wait staff. Let me start off by saying that their food is extremely delicious. I've only been here twice however their food never disappoints. If you're coming here for the food, go through the drive thru. This place would've gotten 4 maybe even 5 stars if it weren't for the employees. After ordering and waiting for our food, we saw one of the employees mess up an order. The customer didn't yell, they just walked out the door because they had been waiting for their food for a while. As they were getting in their car, the employee ran outside and started to yell at them. After the customers drove away the employee came back in and said, "what bad people". Not the best customer service. In addition the restaurant looked like it needed a good clean up. Several employees walked by tables that needed to be cleaned up. I've come here a few times and I personally enjoy the burgers a lot. It was made well and the wait was not too long either. However, I'm pretty sure most of the people come here for the soda machine. It's delicious and filling, no doubt about that. Food comes out pretty quick and there's always the novelty of the soda machine (the novelty has since worn off for me, since the flavored sodas sometime are way too sweet for me). BUT it's a bit too pricey for my liking. If I want a burger with avocado, I'll definitely come here.
