I've been back since the nacho fiasco. I decided to try it again and order something different. It was ok. They're getting better.

I drive by Bakers quite often and always wonder why it is always empty. I had lunch there today and now I completely understand. That was the worst cheeseburger I have ever tasted. It was lukewarm, messy and tasted horrible. They don't even bother to look up when you enter. I had to ask him to take my order and he acted like I was bothering him. It was a bad experience and I will never return. read more

Years ago we really enjoyed this location. It would be a quick go to. But as the years have gone by the fries seem to get more stale and cold. The meat is a little on the al dente dry side, not as juicy tender as other locations. I think it would be an easy fix with staff to adjust the quality control of the food they're serving. Just a few tweaks here and there and she'll be good as new. Service is friendly. If they get the order wrong in the drive thru and you have to go inside they are quick to fix the issue. I appreciate the convenient location right off the 60 fwy Main Street exit. Easy to get in and on your way. Luv the red hot sauce with the spicy, vinegary tang. Their taco box deals are great for the fam. Lots of room for improvement then this location will be running like a champ. Bakers has become horrible. The cheese in the. Burgers is never melted anymore, I just ate the BRC and it tasted like sink water. I ordered a twin kitchen and they charged me for a burger meal plus each individual item, added an extra taco to the order. I miss how bakers used to be. read more

I have many friends from the IE who constantly claim that Baker's is the best fast food in Southern California. So on a recent trip out, I decided I had to check them out. I wouldn't say I was disappointed, but I definitely wasn't wowed. First off, at this venue you order everything from a touchscreen. I wasn't even greeted by an employee. And when I struggled to figure out how to navigate the options, no one even offered to help me out. I spent way too much time trying to order just a basic burger combo & a burrito. Maybe it was just a learning curve. I'd imagine next time I would be able to get my order in more quickly. The food itself, like I mentioned above, was just fine. The burrito was by far the biggest disappointment. It had little to no flavor and I had to just douse it in hot sauce to even get through it. The burger itself was tasty & well cooked, but just wasn't anything special. But the biggest thing was none of the food was worth the price. It was way overpriced for what you get. I definitely felt like I paid too much by the time I was done eating. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. I really wanted my first Baker's experience to be just the basics. But if they can't wow me with the basics, I'm not sure how they would do on their more specialty items. In all, While I wouldn't say I won't return to Baker's, I definitely would rather go elsewhere for fast food in the IE. read more

I was given overly soggy fries, my bean and cheese burritos have no flavor (taste like the beans were boiled with no salt or any other seasonings) and lastly I was told everything was in my bag and proceeded home. I got home to find I was missing my cheeseburger. That was my fault for not double checking but I decided to trust the worker who reassured me all my food was packed into the one big bag. I went to the location in Riverside @ 2221 Main Street. I was pretty disappointed. No casher only kiosk or a scan app option. I ordered a cheeseburger. The bun was cold the cheese was not melted. The fries cold they have a new coating which was not an improvement. The taco shell was cold and very small amount of shredded cheese. My drink had very little ice, so room temp lemonade, yuck. It was truly disappointing. I used to love going to Bakers. It was expensive for fast food. I don't mind paying a little more, but all around, expensive and quality was just not there, well, at least not at this location. Fast drive thru, accurate cashier. My food order was fresh, hot and fulfilling. I always go back.

Hadn't been in a while so friend and I were feeling some food from there. Service was great (yay for the young lady who took our order. Great customer service). but the food (tacos) was horrible. My tacos were filled with burnt meat that was scraped from the bottom of the pan mixed in with some meat that tasted like yesterday's batch. Thankful that the fries and hot sauce were good. Someone told me this was the equivalent to In-N-Out of the IE, boy were they very wrong. The food is similar caliber as Farmer Boys or your general fast-food places. We ordered a double maker, single baker, and large fry. The prices are generally reasonable for the quantity you get - the reason for the low review is service. The person had a bad attitude right off the bat, it was slow even though we came when there was no line, and they got our order wrong. read more

Baker's has went from one of my favorite places to eat to the worst place. My order is never correct and the quality gets worse every time. Nothing ever gets better. I ordered a beef burrito and instead I get a big combination burrito. The tacos suck. The hot sauce sucks. Everything sucks. I've came here since I was a kid, but I told my kids I will not come here again so don't even ask. This place is totally incompetent. read more

Compared to Bakers locations in Redlands and San Bernardino that I've been to this location has always been reliable and overall a nicer building, drive-through layout and clean lobby. The biggest star remover are the awful breakfast options. Needless to say Bakers, like Taco Bell, should stay away from breakfast menus. Skip breakfast at Bakers, got that? What's good then? I kinda' like the shredded beef tacos and quesadillas. Interesting that neither Taco Bell nor Del Taco have this option. The burgers are ok, sort of like '50s throwbacks but decent enough when you are in a hurry and don't feel like McDonald's. Milkshakes! For me this is a reason to go here periodically. I'm partial to blended flavors such as cherry and vanilla and whatever they do it's so much better than the Golden Arches. So much better. It's hard to give a fastfood restaurant anything higher than a 3 but let's roll this one up to 3.5 stars. read more

Look, most bad reviews are upset about prices and the quality of the "hot" sauce. I get it. BUT these are things Bakers decides on, not this particular location. This location has the nicest people working there. I once got a free coffee because they accidentally spilled some. Today, the lady at the drive thru tried letting me order breakfast even though I was an hour late for it. It's also always clean and has a huge parking lot to eat in your car or meet up with motorcycle buddies (conveniently located across two gas stations). Bakers hires quality teammembers. I'll always enjoy coming here. read more

Food and service here is hit or miss. Last time I got great service. This time, not so much and the food tastes stale. The chilli cheese fries I got tasted very stale, and the single backer with cheese was not that great at all. I also wasn't given any hot sauce, ketchup, or even a straw with my drink. Customers beware do not purchase gift cards from this location my sister purchased a $10 gift cards for me from here and I went to use and they told me it did not work which was odd I checked online and it showed $10 so I called the manager he told me to go in and he'd replace it. I went in tried to use it again and they said it didn't work (twice embarrassed). So I tried to show them the balance online and they said there's nothing they can do about it. I checked the balance a few days later and it shows the balance was used on 12/26 at this same location according to the rep. I was nowhere near that Bakers since I only go there when I visit my sister. I emailed Bakers and they told me there's nothing they can do. This is obviously an internal issue with the store manager and the employees it's obviously they are the ones doing these fraudulent cards. It's so disappointing. A place a loved has now turned into a place I can't stand. Update: it has been two days the customer service rep emailed me promising to contact me back since they will be reviewing video surveillance and the debit card that they used to complete the payment was not mine. Arrived at 10:50pm tonight, drove up to the menu and seconds later was greeted with "It's gonna be a while before I get to you." Both my husband and I replied "okay, yeah no problem." A minute or 2 later, guy says "Welcome to Baker's we have LIMITED options what can I get started for you?" (Tone of his voice it was obvious he was irritated & unhappy about something, later I looked them up and see they were close to closing time, didn't realize/know it at the time. I'd like to add that there were 2 cars in front of us that just ordered and 2 cars pulled up behind us.) We said , OK no worries and proceeded to order our 2 meals. The guy then said something so fast, maybe repeating part the order, that I didn't quite catch all of what he said. So I played it safe and repeated the last item I just stated. And was insulted with major attitude along with a "UGH...Oh my god!". I looked at my husband and said this guy is super rude I don't want anything from here. Husband agreed and we pulled forward, waited for the 2 cars in front to finish and just drove through. We happily drove to Burger King, where at BK you can have it your way" (without the attitude of some guy who clearly dislikes his job). The employees of Burger King were so friendly and nice, even with it being late night they didn't make us feel any kind of way like this place. Happily to give someone who wants the business our business and repeated money. We will never be returning to this Baker's and definitely not recommending it to anyone. Just moved to Inland Empire from West Covina (originally from NorCal), and thought In-&-Out is the master at the burger game... and then I met Baker's. Love their Double Baker with Grilled Onions, Mango Shake, and Cheese Burrito with Extra Onions & Red Sauce. This location is my favorite, they always get my order correct, and they go above and beyond, especially Juan (I think he's a manager). This has gotta be the worst Bakers. I ordered the two taco meal, and they literally put the thinnest most pathetic layer of taco meat into the tacos. It was literally all shell, lettuce and tomato. I have been going to Bakers for more then 15 yrs. All the time I go I order there bean tostada. Crunchy tostada, bean, shredded lettuce and cheese. I have noticed that Bakers has change a great deal since Covid. I ordered my regular tostada and I got something nothing close to the original. The tostado is a flour circle that they fried. Horrible. I wanted to get my money back. Going to call to see if they recipe has changed. The staff I have to say is very friendly respectful and ho out of their way to tell long times customers that they're sorry of how lots has change. Looks like Bakers up management is making cuts on quality for profit. Imagine going to McDonald's where you know what you're going to get and get something not even close to what you have. This place refused to let me order. I'm a FedEx driver who's truck doesn't fit through the drive thru and when I went to the door to ask if I can place an order no one answered the door they all saw me standing there knocking but no one approached to even tell me anything. I like bakers never had a problem until today. You're better off going to a different location where the customer service is better. About a year ago and bakers still hasn't even replied to me.
