Small hole in the wall restaurant. Semi-limited menu choices, but looked like it had some great breakfast plates. I was there for lunch and had the double cheeseburger special. Man o' man was it tasty. I was thoroughly impressed by their burger and the fries were perfectly crispy and packed into the fry bag. Also, got a couple of yellow chilis that really set the entire plate off. Not a lot of tasty burger joints around anymore especially like this. It felt real laid back and comfortable. The lady at the register was very welcoming and was very attentive. I love this family run place now and I am going to be a regular patron here moving forward. When I first moved to Rialto in 2017, this was my favorite burger place. The food was always fresh, and delicious. The last couple of years I've noticed a difference in the quality. The fries are almost always cold, or not cooked well enough so they get soggy by the time I get home, or they are not seasoned. Zucchini fries from here USED to be great but now they give you soggy, old, burned tiny pieces of zucchini and still charge like 8-10 for a small tray. I understand inflation but if you're going to charge $15 for a burger combo; at least make it fresh. Especially the zucchini fries. Disappointing read more

Do not let the building fool you. Their burger was so good. It wasn't small and it wasn't large. They grill it right infant of you and not microwave it. There is a lot of flavor as well as a good balance of lettuce. The fries I can do without, but that burger really slaps. So good. I'm drooling thinking about it now. Way better option as a fast food burger in this area! Parking is convenient. Restrooms are open. Central AC does not work, but they have a swamp cooler. While venturing out on a Sunday looking for a good breakfast burrito, we came across Zorbas Restaurant on Iowa. Despite their website saying they are open until 2, they were closed at 11:30 AM. So across the street to Chris' we went! At first glance, we weren't sure if they were open. There was a couple cars in the front and a very faded sign saying "drive thru." We pulled up to the drive thru and my dad swore up and down they were closed. Right as he said to go, a voice came through the speaker box saying "what can I get you?" And we ordered. I ordered their Sausage Breakfast burrito and a side of their Homemade Zucchini with Ranch. My dad ordered a California burger combo after being told they were out of pastrami. Per my dad, the burger was average. I am almost 100% sure every mom and pop burger shop gets their pre-made burgers from the same supplier and only a few dress them up with some kind of seasoning to stand out from the crowd. This place is not one of them. The bacon on it was bacon, and the avocado was avocado, green and not brown. A good amount of avocado for those that like avocado. As for the burrito, this is where my review took a pretty bad turn. One thing they don't mention is that there's salsa on the burritos that is RIDICULOUSLY spicy. As for me, I can't stand hot (spicy) food. Hot Cheetos are pretty much my limit, and I would much rather actually taste my food. The heat from their salsa doesn't last long, but while it is there it makes it's presence known. I tried my hardest to power through the first few bites but I just couldn't. I scraped out as much salsa as I could and that's when I realized why it was there. There's not much other flavor in the burrito. Don't get me wrong, a nice salsa would definitely compliment this burrito! It was packed with egg, sausage and near-perfectly cooked hash browns. But a salsa that is so spicy ruins what could have been a great burrito. I was going to go back and order another burrito minus the salsa but they stop selling breakfast at noon. The zucchini is most definitely homemade, but that doesn't mean it's good. They are very small zucchini "nuggets" that aren't seasoned a whole lot but they are good dipped in the provided ranch. The fries would be better with a little salt, they are cooked almost like McDonald's fries. Crispy outside with a soft, fluffy inside! Despite the rating, I will be back. I would like to come back to try a burger for myself and try onion rings. I also want to order a burrito without salsa to really get the full taste of everything and see if anything has changed, flavor wise. Look out for an updated review soon! read more

I came here after I discovered Zorba's is closed on Sundays. I was craving a hamburger and realized Chris's was open and have a drive thru. So glad I did! The hamburger was delicious and my sons sandwich looked good ! He said it was delicious. I wish I would have taken pictures. We're all so hungry we ate it quickly! The charbroiled hamburger was delicious, fries were fresh and turkey sandwich looked and smelled great! The young lady who took our order very nice, professional and repeated our order too! I will return again and take pictures. I'm giving it 4 stars because I hope they fix the drive thru speaker. read more

We came in as a family, and we're the only ones here. It's a hole in the wall. My wife loved the fried zucchini and my daughter loved the teriyaki chicken plate. I had just a regular cheese burger and my other child had the chicken strips. The lady at the counter was rather friendly, and so was the cook. I was driving around on my lunch break and came across this place randomly. The owners of the company are very sweet and welcoming. They welcomed me to the area since I'm fairly new to the Inland Empire. I tried their double cheeseburger combo. Burger and fries were delicious and hearty. Veggies were fresh. The lady even upgraded me to the large cup of soda for free. That was very nice of her. I decided to go there today for my lunch break and decided to try their fish sandwich. It was DELICIOUS. The gentleman even gave me extra fries in my bag, which I really appreciated. I know that this Yelp page isn't claimed by the owners, but wanted to share my experience on here. This relatively new hole-in-the-wall is located in a dicey part of town (but then again, what part of Riverside isn't dicey, yanno? ;)) and owned by a gracious Korean family. Had it not been for a friend who suggested having lunch at this place during college, this place would have gone unnoticed by me driving down Iowa. It's quaint on the outside but clean inside, at least the last few times I was there when they'd just opened. Their menu includes an offering of your traditional American fast food and diner fare, including some awesome breakfast deals I've been meaning to try but just never got around to. Did I mention they have a convenient drive-thru? =) The food is fresh and much better quality than any fast food joint around. Portions are great and the prices even better. If you're into grilled sourdough burgers like I am, try their San Franciscan burger. You'll never go back to that Sourdough Jack again. read more

So when the korean man went to make our food, we were standing right there when he spilled our fries all over the counter. He quickly scooped them all up and put it in our bag like it never happened! I was kind of appalled. When we got out food and was about to walk out the door, he called us back in. He left the bacon on the grill. So he opened my boyfriend's burger and put it back in. The bacon was kinda old too, let me warn you. We wanted some extra thousand island and he wanted to charge us. So we decided -- never mind. As I was eating the french fries later on, I felt something kind of hard. I pulled it out of the french fries and IT WAS... ______ A DIRTY, THIN, METAL WIRE!!!_______ Can I say: totally unsanitary and disgusting? It probably fell in there when he dropped the fries and still scooped it into our bag!!! So, the service sucks and this place should be closed down because it is evidently violating rules of sanitation!! So my recommendation: save yourselves and go elsewhere! Management response was, "everybody else likes it" it is just this weeks special. Just came in with my wife to get the very best hamburger she's ever had, after just one bite the words that came out were "if I didn't live in America and wanted a hamburger that stood out this would be it" some yummy fresh bread, delicious fries that were perfectly done tastes like mashed potatoes on the inside of every crispy fry, and the chicken in the chicken burrito was fresh, well seasoned, and juicy. The tortilla was soft and fluffy and the salsa was spicy but very flavorful. This place isn't much to look at, being frozen in time circa 1965. Out of curiosity I tried it since it is a long walk from the office and I need the exercise. Zorba's is across the street and has much more traffic. I am now a fan. Their Frisco Burger is excellent and their basic cheeseburger is outstanding. I walk down there at least once a week. I've never had food that is not clean and very fresh. Haven't checked out the restroom that people are complaining about. read more

I had actually planned on going to Zorbas across the street but the drive thru line was long and I remembered always being happy with Chris's. I drove thru and got the burger special. I had to wait a couple minutes at the window but was cool with that figuring they were making my food on the spot. I really enjoyed the burger and the fries had a few that were ever so slightly over done which I love. Looking forward to going back for the same. read more
