The purpose of this review is simply to share how impressed I was with the level of Customer Service, which Shane with Zona Restoration provided, even though he knew immediately that his company would not be able to provide the type of service I required. To experience this level of Customer Service in today's atmosphere was more impressive than words can say! Based on their name, Zona Restoration, I had hoped that they might be able to help me with a bizarre, previous small animal hole, which had opened up after our torrential storms this year and was now going under my retaining wall. Unfortunately, after reading their reviews, I realized that the type of restoration work they specialized in was for inside of the home types of damage. Unfortunately, as I was having no luck at all in finding the right type of contractor to help me out with this, I gave them a call anyway. Just on the off chance that they might be able to recommend someone who could help me with both this issue, as well as a number of landscaping problems. I spoke with Shane who was extremely pleasant and, although he confirmed that their company would not be the one to help me out, he asked if I could send him pictures of the situation and he would do some research to see if he could provide me with a referral or recommendation. To my amazement, Shane called me back very quickly, after reviewing the photos with his boss, and provided me with the name of a company they felt comfortable in recommending. Even though Shane was aware from the beginning that Zona Restoration would not be able to help me at this time, his level of Customer Service guarantees that they will be the company I will call on should the interior of my home ever need the type of services they do provide! I came home from work and had water coming out of my garage running down my drive way. I have never had to deal with something like this before and did not know who to call. the first thing i did was shut the water off to my house. I found this company on line. When I called the person who answered the phone was nice and had a technician at my home by the time the plumber was finished repairing the pipe that broke. Kevin was who came to my house and was able to explain the process to me and was able to help me file a claim. I did not know really what i had coverage for and i have two young boys in school. I was able to get into a hotel. It was still stressful but, if no one told me i would have tried to stay in the house with all the fans. A crew of guys showed up shortly after Keven arrived, they worked quickly to move my stuff out of the wet areas. Some things were just trashed but, they also told me to take pictures for the insurance company. They were really clean and worked around my schedule so i could let them in through out the week while they picked up equipment. When everything was dry they started to work on fixing parts of the house damaged by the water. I didn't know i could choose who i wanted to do the work. My insurance company tried to get me to use their vendor but, it was nice not to have to look for a contractor to fix everything. I guess this happens a lot and i never really talked about it with friends or anything. If anyone ever asked me or i heard about someone with the same problem i would tell them to call Zona. I'm not sure how many construction companies other people out there have had to work with, but I cant tell you it can certainly be PAIN in the a$$ finding a good one. My house recently flooded in Scottsdale and I wasn't sure who i was supposed to call. I found Zona Restoration on Yelp and based on their reviews figured i'd give them a shot. It was my first time having to deal with water damage and I wasn't sure exactly how the whole process would work or how much it would cost. Kelly, the lady who answered the phone was very knowledgeable and explained that they would quickly get a technician out to my house to take a look at the damage and provide a free estimate. A FREE ESTIMATE, i loved that. It seems like everyone else wants to charge at least $100 to come out and even look at something. When the Zona team showed up they were very diligent and were able to explain to me that going through my insurance to handle the water damage would be cheaper than paying out of pocket. They worked with me every step of the way and quickly had that water removed and my place completely dried out. After the restoration was completed they put me in contact with the reconstruction team and started getting the repairs handled. I was SHOCKED that they were able to match everything so closely and to be honest, my place looks even better than it did before. Water damage is not something ot mess around with and i'm so thankful i found such a good company to work with. From the beginning and upon first contact Zona Restoration showed extreme knowledge and understanding as well as compassion for our extreme situation. We were currently having to deal with a highly incompetent and ruthless insurance company ASI/Arizona Restoration after experiencing a kitchen flood that left our home uninhabitable. Thomas, our first point of contact was meticulous and very detailed in explaining the process and what to expect from the process we were about to enter upon. Jerry, was always available to answer questions over the phone when we needed assistance or guidance when dealing with our below par insurer. Such great client service! Denny who came out to do the quote on build back was also very thorough and also took the time to answer questions and listened compassionately to our frustrations. Unfortunately, we are in litigation with ASI /Arizona Restoration so we have to wait to rebuild our home. So, we contacted the Owner Aaron and thanked him for his excellent staff and his attention to our needs but we had to hold off on moving forward. Aaron took the time to work out our billing and was so compassionate to our situation we were dumbfounded. We highly recommend Zona and if you need to get a free estimate at least call Zona and have them come out to your home. I would definitely recommend ZonaRestoration for repairs. We had water damage in four of our rooms & it went down into our basement ceiling & walls. I was worried about mold settling in, & they came out the next day with fans. The litigation department met with our insurance company to make sure everyone was on the same page. I want to make sure that the build back team gets recognized. Will Wilson & Passo did such a phenomenal job on our house. You can't even see or tell where the damage was. These two guys are so friendly & down to earth. I got know them on a personal level. ZonaRestoration should give these guys a raise, they are very hard workers. Also, I want to recognize Joseph Bartels for making our carpet back to normal. Him & his team did a wonderful job on installing the padding back in & laying it down & cleaning the carpets. Plus, Tammy LaCour is very professional & explained everything to me & called me back & emailed me back right away. I usually don't write reviews but I felt compelled to write this one for Zona. Only because from start to finish this team was completely professional. I also ended up speaking to Aaron the owner a few times to discuss the job and was thoroughly impressed by him- looks like he does lead by example. To begin with they were very knowledgeable, friendly and honest. I called the company after reading many great reviews (part of my due diligence process!) for a water/flooding issue at my home because the AC had a condensation problem. I was apprehensive at first but my first interaction with Shelby and Shane dispelled my fears quickly-they were both great. They were quick to answer my phone call and came home to survey the problem within a few hours. They explained the clean up and mitigation process patiently and started working on it right away. Over the course of the next few days the cleanup was done and although we had different staff come during that time period (wish I could remember their names), every one of them had the same pleasant attitude. The job was completed perfectly and at the end Aaron communicated with me to make sure everything was taken care of. Zona had done some mold remediation on my home back March (done quickly and tested clear) and then the Covid-19 situation happened. Subsequently, my ceiling to my attic was covered with plastic for the past couple of months. Recently I was able to find a drywall company to replace the ceiling. At that time, it was discovered that one of the fire sprinkler heads was bent during the mold remediation and the cap wouldn't come off. I took some pictures and called Zona right away. I spoke with Shane at Zona and he started working with Thomas on a resolution. No pushback...just a pleasant "we'll do whatever we need to do to get this resolved". They had Platinum Fire Protection out the next day to address and resolve the situation and Eric from Zona came out to finish the drywall repair around the sprinkler. During this time, I spoke or received calls from Zona making sure things were moving forward. Great customer service and issue resolution. Thank you to Shane, Thomas, Erick and Tammy for a job well done. Sometimes issues (like bent sprinklers) happen, but if they're handled in this way, the customer is left with remembering the positive resolution and not the issue itself. This company is excellent we got referred to it by our home insurance due to our downstairs flooding and it could not have turned out better. The customer service was beyond excellent in each step of the process. Shout out to mitigation especially Shane and Ed they were great at explaining to us all the steps that they were going to take and making sure we understood and felt comfortable with it all. Also, for the restoration part of it ,yes they do that too, they have been so understanding and also have made sure we go through every detail we may notice out of place and they gladly fix it right away. Zona Restoration is caring and conscientious and I recommend them highly. Let's face it, when you NEED restoration because of flooding or some other ordeal it's not fun. My need for Zona Restoration's service were caused by carless mistakes made by a contractor. It was so nice to have the people with Zona step in and clean things up. Their staff (especially Jacob) were very meticulous. Zona had to dry out then completely gut my daughter's bathroom, remove a bunch of drywall and hardwood flooring from a couple rooms affected by the accident. They did this fast with great care and concern for my family. My wife NEEDS her house clean and is very distraught when it's a mess. Zona Restoration did an amazingly thorough job of cleaning up all dust and debris from their work. Nobody had to ask or demand them to do this...they did it on their OWN. I called Zona Restoration after my roof was destroyed from one of the recent monsoon storms. It blew off about 1/4 of the shingles throughout my roof and I had water leaking inside in multiple locations. I've never dealt with any water damage situations before and had no idea what to expect. The gentleman I spoke to at the office was extremely knowledgeable and understanding of my situation and by the time the call was done, he was already in the process of dispatching technicians to come out and start drying out the wet drywall. My wife is terrified of mold so getting someone out that quickly was a lifesaver for us. The team that showed up was quick and to say I was impressed by how clean they kept everything, would be an understatement. These guys really take pride in their work. Within a few days they had dried out all of the water damaged areas and were even able to help get my roof tarped and scheduled out for a full replacement. Zona recently completed a full gut reconstruction of my condo after it was flooded. I fired my first contractor because they were not responsive which led to me finding Zona. I wish I would have found Zona right away because they were responsive and had guys working on my place within a day or two of agreeing to work with them. One of the best things I liked about Zona is that they used the same software to estimate costs as my insurance company. It can be a real hassle if you have to negotiate a settlement with the insurance company and then again with a contractor for what they will actually do the work for. Zona knew my insurance guy and that made things much easier on me. Aaron was always available for questions and helped guide me through the process. I think they did good work and I was happy with the way things turned out. I would recommend them since they are honest in their prices and will get your place put back together quickly. read more

We had a flood in our separate standing casita last month while we were out of town. This occurred from a cracked tank from the toilet. 2 1/2 inches of water throughout the 950 square feet. I called Zona from out of town and they responded the same day. They used commercial water vacs and 20+ commercial fans. We were able to get the furniture, rugs and silk drapes and cornices out within a day through other sources. The water had probably been there for a week. Ed and his crew did a professional and great job. We initially thought that both the bathroom tile and kitchen cabinets would need to be removed. Ed came up with a way to save both from destruction. By cutting holes in the back of the lower cabinets exposed a 2 inch gap from the sheetrock. The more focused drying saved them. Ed was innovative and thorough. I had to have someone come in to clean up an outdoor spa fire which completely destroyed my hot tub (an electrical short in the control panel ignited the cover, which went up like a box of tinder). It was a mess! I got four different quotes from restoration services. They varied from under $1200 to over $2700. The work was basically straight-forward so we went with the least expensive. Zona Restoration sent three men who were here less than 3-1/2 hours, and did an exemplary job! They arrived on time, were courteous, wore masks, etc. I would like to call out three people who were, in my eyes, truly excellent - Hasso who was one of the actual debris workers, Justin who is in the main office who took care of getting me a quotation, and Mary who followed up with an accurate and courteous invoice. All of the paperwork was done electronically, with a hands-free approach. This is a very well run, friendly, efficient company. read more

I bought a home and almost immediately found black mold in the bathrooms. I called several contractors to come out for estimates. I appreciated that Zona could both re-mediate the mold appropriately and then build back the baths. The mold remediation was done carefully and safely which alleviated my worries. The remediation report was thorough and will definitely be a huge benefit if I ever need to sell. The build back experience was equally positive. Zona went to great length to get at least one of my showers functional within a short period of time. And although there were a couple of mishaps with some of the materials, Zona was great about working with me to make sure I was satisfied. In the end I got two new baths that look great and at a great price. The contractors that did the work were all professional, helpful and responsive. This is a delayed review, but I wanted to make sure to let everyone know how happy I was with Zona Restoration. I called for an emergency in the very early hours in December due to my elderly mother leaving a faucet running and flooding one entire side of my home. Zona was there within the hour and began mitigation immediately. Long story short they took care of everything from start to finish and left me with my home beautifully restored. They were also excellent to work with during the whole pandemic issue. I can't say enough how happy we are with the work done by Brian with Zona Restoration. What stared as a horrible situation (improper install of a toilet from another company caused a flood and damage to two bathrooms and a laundry room), Brian made into a wonderful experience. Brian was extremely professional and just a pleasure to have around. He did an amazing job on all three rooms! He had no problem dealing with our two rambunctious dogs and worked ridiculously hard to make sure the job was completed to perfection. I want to let everyone know how happy I am with Zona. My homeowners insurance contacted them to come to my home due to a leak from water pipe in attic that collapsed part of kitchen ceiling. They mitigated the water and isolated the damage from the rest of kitchen until everything could be repaired. The repairs were done in a timely manner and the team was very considerate. They protected flooring and immediate environment from further wear and soil, always called before coming, were punctual and efficient and always very pleasant-a wonderful team of young men.
