No one wants to worry about potential water damage or mold development in their home. We were concerned about water penetrating our drywall after a shower flooded into our bathroom and adjoining bedrooms. Since we were unable to detach the baseboards ourselves, we decided to have a professional come out to check for water damage. After spending almost an hour reading through Yelp reviews of restoration companies, I decided on PureTec and called for an appointment. Chris answered the phone and was very pleasant and courteous. He explained that there was no fee for the consultation and told me he would find someone near my area that would reach out to me soon. Within 30 minutes I received a voicemail (which I missed) and subsequently a text from Justice giving me a heads up that they would arrive at my home in 50 minutes. Justice and Avery showed up on time and were very polite, professional and respectful (with shoe covers in hand, for which I am always grateful). Avery checked for moisture all around the bathroom and two bedrooms and determined that there were no issues (fortunately, we were proactive with dryers when we first encountered the situation). Justice offered to pull a small piece of baseboard from the wall that was partially torn away if it would make us more comfortable with their moisture reading determination but we were relieved by and thankful for the results. This first experience with PureTec Restoration was great all-around. This is how every business should be run. I had a vacant fix n flip in Glendale that was closing escrow in 15-days. The morning of the inspection I received a cell phone pic from the inspector showing water flooding from the garage. A few minutes later the inspector sent me another cell phone pic of the great room under 4 inches of water. The inspector found the source of the flooding (valve under the sink broke) and he turned off the main. I was in total disbelief because we worked so hard getting this property ready to be sold. I called Jason Podany at Puretec and he had his team to the property in less than two hours. it took 3 days to dry and remove 2' of drywall on the 1st floor. Jason recommended a contractor to do the drywall and paint to match. After 3 weeks we had the inspector back out and the property closed with only a 2-week extension. My water heater blew Monday morning. My insurance agent recommended Darrin at Purtec as she said he wouldn't charge me for more than I needed as so many other water restoration companies do. Darrin was out within the hour and complemented me on getting the water turned off as soon as I did-he contained the area in plastic and ran fans-his men came out the next day to check and said it needed another day. Last year a hose blew off my neighbor's toilet and sprayed water all through her house the Saturday before Labor Day. We have patio homes that share a common wall so some of the water leaked into our garage and my closet and bedroom. The water damage was sooo much worse at my neighbor's. I called PureTec and Darren was at our location in the west valley in under an hour. Fortunately the damage on my side was minimal. He pulled back the carpet and got a fan going until his team could get there and pull up the padding, etc. They had us back to normal in a few days. It was watching Darren helping my neighbor that was truly amazing. He calmed her down and sat with her at our kitchen table and patiently talked her through the entire process that was about to happen, and he helped her collect what she needed to spend the night with family. He worked diligently with her homeowner's insurance to ensure that the extraction and drying was covered, and I can't even remember how many times he came by to check on us, and our neighbor while she was working with the packing company to remove her belongings to storage while the restoration work was being performed. True Professionals. We had an AC guy trip in our attic and land on our sprinkler system, flooding our kitchen. The company initially called in did not properly clean, or remove all damaged areas. Puretec came in and gave us all of the information up front, worked quickly and efficiently while covering the floors and properly cleaning everything. This company is A++. I will be honest I don't typically write reviews but this company went above and beyond. They are outstanding! Thank you Darren, Michael, Justin, Avery and Cole for all you did as well as your compassion for me though this difficult time and for putting up with the 5 1/2 month old husky during the clean up:-) You have integrity, honesty, compassion, knowledge which unfortunately can be hard to find. All of you are so hard working with a positive attitude which is so appreciated. I had a water situation that the plumber, Carlin found and recommended this company to come and evaluate. I am very happy he did. I called after Carlin left and they came out within 2 hours (on a Saturday). They assessed the situation and determined the water damage. They left fans blowing on Saturday to start the drying process until Monday when they came back to demo the area. They would have started the demo on Saturday but due to needing further clarification with the leak they waited until Monday. They were very thorough, knowledgeable, careful as they saved all my Corian countertops as well as carefully stabilizing the area until new cabinets are replaced. They came daily to check the status of drying process or any further needs as well as kept me updated on the process. They also dealt with the insurance company and have a wonderful policy when it comes to final payoff. No other company I know of does what they do. I would highly recommend PureTec Restoration! Hopefully I don't have to go any more water damage episodes but if I do I will be using this company. Thank you again for all you do, it is appreciated. Everyone, from Darren providing a fair estimate to Jason, their Office Manager,who responds very quickly to any questions to Justis & Cole doing the initial work, to Mike following up the next day. I just can't say enough. They are all wonderful. Once the Plumber Guy, Carlin, finished repairing the pipe Darren came out within a couple of hours and gave us a very fair price. He even left some fans to start the drying process. The next morning Justic & Cole came out around 8:30 to do the clean up process. Eventhough we don't have any asbestos, they treated it like we did. This was very comforting to know that they took precautions. When Mike came out he said everything was dry (per his meter) except for a small part of the carpet. He left one fan to help dry this out. Avery came out the next day to pick up the fan. Would I recommend the guys at PureTec Restoration, you betcha! If I have a problem in the future, I will call them in a heartbeat! read more

We had a main line back up with raw sewage flooding our master and guest bathrooms. The plumbing company, our home warranty used, sent out Puretec to assist us. We have never been in a situation to need a restoration company so were unsure of the process/procedure. In steps Darren Pickles, GM. He was amazing to say the least. He explained the whole process from working with our homeowners insurance to working with a reconstruction company. He was always available to answer questions and made several appearances. He even personally came out on a Saturday, by himself, to remove the big commercial fans from our home so we didn't have to listen to them or have them in the our way any longer than necessary. Having a loss is stressful but Puretec and Darren Pickles made it easier.
