Zach and Ella were great! Our instructors made sure we had a great time and kept us safe! Make sure to tip your tour guides! They deserve it! BUT....We arrived at 10:30 for our 11 o'clock appointment and the gate was closed. Online they said they opened at 9 am so we were worried they cancelled our trip on us. When we called. No one answered. We called again 5 minutes later and some young woman answered with extreme hostility. When we got to the check in, we were instructed by the woman at the front desk (kinda short with blonde short hair in pigtail braids that day) to fill out waivers (very rudely). And when we brought them inside the lodge she took our waivers and asked us to wait outside for our instructors....in 35 degree weather. Moral of the story. Zip lines and tour guides. Great! Management and hospitality. Needs LOTS of training. read more

fantastic experience with a seasoned crew, and you could tell the employees there cared about each other from their interactions--which ultimately redounded to an amazing overall time. my 6-year-old was whizzing down the lines so fast I think he repeated the course like 8 times? but for real Nancy was amazing and we will go back in a heartbeat when we're back in the Blue Ridge area. read more

We arrived in Blue Ridge two hours ahead of our cabin check-in, so we decided to take our children ziplining. The children's course is advertised for ages 6-10 with children between ages 6-7 requiring a parent to go on the course with them at an additional cost of course. I can only imagine the parent is required because the guide spent most of the time on his cell phone while the parents assisted the children. Even when two of the children collided, the parents' reaction time was much quicker than the guides. The children course is a very small circle of five ziplines, with one being so low that my seven year old had to lift her feet so they would not touch the ground. I do not think it was worth not $55 per person. My seven year old daughter had a blast as it was her first course, which is the only reason I am giving a three star rating. read more

Please know: you could not get out of the harness or off the line if you wanted to. A single harness can carry THOUSANDS of pounds. You will always be hooked onto something solid while above ground. You. Cannot. Fall. Off. The guides are funny and very adept at educating on safety. I loved it. Young kids (6-7yo) and my kids (12yo and 13yo) had a great time. My other adult family member had a panic attack. There's two simple, practice lines you'll do first to see if you feel ok to go on the course. Be aware of the STEPS (stairs) involved. Up to the lodge--steps. Up to the first line--steps. Across bridges--steps. If you do the longer track, sooo many steps up to the highest tower. For the longer course, several hundred steps in my estimation. That said, I'm overweight and don't do cardio and made it--did have to rest between flights on the last really big tower. Don't plan on taking a ton of pictures up there. You've got equipment and gloves on. read more

My adult sons and I had a blast on the one-hour zip tour. Colton and E.Z. were quite fun and funny. They were also very helpful and interactive with all participants. The experience once on the zips was top-notch. I echo a huge warning to booking time ahead of arrival. They absolutely will not provide a refund or even a voucher for a later date, even if they cannot provide the service. We were not able to go on the course on time due to lightening. I realize that the company cannot control the weather. But we had other plans later in the day and had to wait two hours before zip lining. The management was adamant that their "policy" does not allow for even a voucher for another day no matter the reason for the delay. They need to read about empowering their employees instead of hiding behind their customer-no-service policy. My three stars is to split between my rating for the tour guides (5 stars) and my rating for the company and customer service (1 star). read more

Did the 2 hour tour and it takes you on 13 zips. Matt and Kyla were very knowledgeable me about each zip (the distance and whether you had to break early or late). It started pouring rain super hard during our time so we were catching very high speeds on the zip lines. Thankfully, there are emergency breaks on each zip for if you can't slow yourself down enough. I definitely recommend, a super fun family activity They take a group photo and pics of each member going down the Zipline that you can purchase at the end! read more

We did the 2 hour tour. Our guides Sarah and Colton were professional, funny and very customer focused. Our group of 8 had a great time doing the course. One of us even had a minor mishap and Colton came out and fixed the issue calmly and efficiently. Great experience overall. Only complaint is there was no water at any of the stands or towers and going nearly 3 hours in the afternoon heat with no water is challenging. My family and I did the 1hour zip lining tour. The youngest being 10. I booked a 1hr tour for 4. The tour you book does not mean you will be the only group. The total ppl during the 1hr tour was 11ppl. 3 separate groups were put together. They offer a 1 or 2hour option. The 1 hour option was 6 zip lines and a bridge, the highest point was 50ft. The 2 hour tour would go higher and longer zips. My 10yr old had no issues and actually loooved it. My 16yr old did it like a pro. The posts in-between zips were wobbly. Instructor/ tour guide Nancy was awesome! Very patient and gave great tips. She was very good with explaining to beginners. Once you commit and start zipping there is no turning back as there is no stairs between posts. So the only way to quit is to finish lol. read more

I did the one hour tour and it was so much fun. Matt and Nancy were our guides, they were both extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, always putting our safety first. This was my first zip line experience ever and I always felt safe with them. The only thing I would say is if you have any other time sensitive plans, keep in mind that the one hour tour is not exactly one hour. You do have to wait for other groups to be done and go through the basic do's and don'ts of zip lining. Also, keep an eye out for their beautiful shed! read more

This place was so fun! I went with a group of 11 and they made the process so simple and were able to accommodate a last minute special request. Our group did the one hour tour. The guides we had (hey Grant, Damian, and Sarah!) were hilarious and absolutely awesome. They went through the instructions clearly and thoroughly.
