    Buffalo Wings
    Roxanne O.

New owners, the third in a year I think. We used to order from the original establishment years ago until their quality went down. And then a new owner came and we tried it again and it was still bad so we had relatively low expectations for this place. We ordered 8 pieces of wings, tossed in Buffalo sauce, a Sicilian tomato pie and a small red veggie pie. The wings were okay, they're breaded, which I'm not a fan of. I do like that they include celery and blue cheese, which a lot of places don't do anymore. The small red veggie pie is very small. Slightly larger than a personal pie I would estimate, it comes sliced into eighths. I think this one was the favorite though. The Sicilian pie was a bit chewy and tough to eat, not as airy and fluffy as I have become accustomed to. All in all, this place is better than its predecessors had become!

Meet Fresh is a Taiwanese dessert shop specializing in traditional Chinese-style sweet dessert…read moresoups--comforting bowls built around ingredients such as red beans, sago, grass jelly, purple rice, tofu pudding, and almond. These desserts are common across Taiwan and much of East Asia, where sweet soups serve the role that cakes or pastries might in the West: a warm or cooling treat at the end of a meal or as an afternoon snack. The brand itself originated in Taichung, Taiwan, where it began as a small family shop inspired by traditional dessert recipes passed down through generations. Today Meet Fresh has expanded internationally, but the menu remains rooted in those classic Taiwanese dessert traditions. The menu includes hot and cold dessert soups, along with bubble teas, specialty drinks, ice creams, shaved ice desserts, and egg waffles--served plain or with a variety of fillings. I stopped in for a bowl of their Combo A hot red bean soup, topped with taro balls, fragrant red beans, crunchy peanuts, and soft, chewy boba. I also ordered a hot almond milk. For those unfamiliar with it, red bean soup is one of the classic desserts of Chinese and Taiwanese cuisine. Made from adzuki beans simmered until soft, it has a naturally earthy sweetness that is comforting without being overly sugary. It's often served hot in cooler weather and chilled in summer. The bowl here was generous and piping hot, exactly what you want from a dessert soup. The sweetness was well balanced--sweet, but not cloying--and the toppings added layers of texture that kept each spoonful interesting. The taro balls are another Taiwanese specialty: chewy dumplings made from taro and sweet potato starch with a texture somewhere between mochi and gnocchi. These were nicely elastic and pleasantly chewy. The peanuts added crunch, while the boba pearls brought their familiar soft chew, making the bowl a fun mix of textures. The hot almond milk was fragrant and soothing. In Chinese dessert culture this type of almond drink is often made from apricot kernels (sometimes called "Chinese almonds"), which gives it a slightly different aroma than Western almond milk. This one was very tasty, though it leaned a bit sweeter than I personally prefer. Service was pleasant and efficient, and the shop has ample seating, making it easy to sit and enjoy your dessert rather than rushing out the door. For anyone curious about Taiwanese desserts--or simply looking for something beyond cakes and pastries--Meet Fresh offers a comforting introduction to a whole world of sweet soups, chewy toppings, and traditional dessert flavors. I would happily return to explore more of the menu.

I'd recommend creating a custom dessert for what I felt like is better value, and coming at an off-hour due to the difficulty of finding parking in the plaza. --- Meet Fresh has a wide variety of desserts available: -Pudding & Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice (L)- I shared it between 4 people, and while it was a good size and I enjoyed the toppings, personally it felt too expensive for the amount of ice! I would be on the fence reordering this. -Signature Grass Jelly (hot)- This came with a side of peanuts. For the relatively expensive signature grass jelly dish, I was a bit disappointed at the ratio of grass jelly to toppings. I would pass next time. -Custom icy grass jelly with 5 toppings [sesame rice balls, taro ball, ice cream, sago, and Q mochi (taro mochi)]- This came with a side of creamer. I really enjoyed both the flavor and toppings in the custom icy grass jelly!! The ratio of toppings was better for sure, but it is a more expensive option. I'd probably still go for this option next time. The restaurant is more or less self-service. It is self-seating. You first order at the kiosk or counter, and then retrieve your order once your number is called. Later, you take your tray and clean up yourself. The interior can seat fairly large groups, maybe 20-40 people total depending on how you sit. One of the biggest obstacles to enjoying Meet Fresh is finding parking in the hectic and overcrowded parking lot. I'd find it hard to justify fighting to find parking for Meet Fresh until I had something else to also do in the plaza. Overall, our group had pretty mixed ratings, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd recommend coming when you're willing to splurge on a custom dessert creation.

Love coming here and seeing people from toddler age to folks with their grandparents. Bubble tea is for all! My husband loves to try the new fruity varieties that get added to the menu. Every few weeks there is a new, unique fruit combination that blows him away. I stick to my tried and true Thai iced tea with boba, and NOWHERE else has been able to compete. The details are what makes this place stand out. If you buy multiple drinks, they place your order in an adorable, reusable purple bag. Also, there is a rewards program. So if you're an avid boba drinker, make sure you sign up. Every few orders you can score a free bite to eat or bubble tea. Since it's a hit spot, this place can get packed at peak times (post work hours, and especially on weekends). So happy to have such a lovely shop in my town. Thanks, Akihi!

The inside was very different from your usual bubble tea spot, and it was very welcoming and cozy. I could definitely see myself just chilling and reading a book while enjoying my food and drink. I placed my order through the kiosk while looking over the menu, which had a lot of good options. I couldn't make up my mind and decided to go with the bubble tea and Oreo waffle crepe. Both items were good, and I enjoyed the waffle, which had ice cream as the filling and was stuffed with fillings, but it was a little difficult to eat since the wrapper is not very practical, and I had to use my hands, so it got a bit messy. Did I regret it? No way, I loved it; hopefully, they would just have a better container for it, lol. Definitely will get a sugar rush, so be careful hahaha. I would definitely go back to try the other flavors

Surprisingly, I did not discover Super Sundaes until after covid in 2020. It was the first ice cream shop though to open up at the time and I absolutely HAD TO try it based on a rave review from our then mayor. It did not disappoint in quality and I was also happy to learn that it was withing walking distance of where I live! You know this is a decent ice cream place when you get there in the summer hours and see a bunch of kids there with their parents after their practices for summer sports and such. Great to see this and I hope the new owners keep it just as busy! Service has always been decent for me. The only issue that I ever had was with a cake I wanted to get a year ago for a family member's birthday. I unfortunately had to cancel it as the family member was going through a medical issue and we weren't going to be able to celebrate it that year. I felt like I was given a hard time about this (I understand they may have lost business, but there was no way on rescheduling the event to get the cake which would have went to waste if I picked it up). Other than that, the cakes were always fantastic for me whenever I got them there. This is the only reason for 1 less star. I surely do hope the new owners can keep the tradition of amazing cakes going as well as the quality of ice cream. I plan to get there a little in the summer and will surely update this review then based on the new ownership!

Flavor bomb burrata was amazing - on top of a naan, tomatoes and green garlic chimichurri with a fresh burrata and what was like a very sweet spicy honey on top - delicious. Sadly they were out of the truffle chicken masala. We opted for the butter chicken - also delicious and rich. Palak paneer - always nice to see the spinach version. Very good. Both were great with the garlic and butter naans... sopped up with the naan or rice, delicious. The 'Rarha' Lamb Chops were ok, overcooked until the bone crumbled so a bit hard to pick up, cutting it was a bit tough, and the mustard-tumeric potatoes were very good but heavy. BYOB. Menu completely online and somewhat hard to see -- bring a big phone. Street or muni lot parking. Servers were pleasant but often busy cleaning up - a bit of dropping things all night - customers knocked over their lights, dishes fell, glasses broke - I felt like it was a Jewish wedding with all the wares falling on the floor mid-way through dinner. Portions are solid and they also gave to-go bags for the leftover naan and boxes for the leftover dishes.

We stopped by Four Monkeys on a busy Friday night, and the place was packed, always a promising sign. Even with the crowd, parking wasn't an issue at all; Lot 3 is right nearby and there's plenty of street parking, which made getting in and out painless. Inside, the restaurant is on the smaller side, but they've managed to fit in a surprising number of tables without making it feel cramped. The lighting is dim and moody in a way that works well for the space, and the subtle monkey-themed decor is genuinely charming- playful but tasteful. Menus are all via QR code, and even the cutlery feels upgraded and fancy, adding a nice touch. Service was a highlight. The staff is friendly, helpful, and refreshingly honest as they guided us through the menu, prevented us from over-ordering, and offered thoughtful recommendations. For water, they give you options: tap, sparkling, or still. What we ordered: * Pili Mirch Paneer Tikka (appetizer) * Bandar Butter Chicken * Homestyle Bhuna Chicken * Garlic Naan (pro tip: the naans are huge, one is easily enough for two people) The paneer app was really solid, think paneer tikka with a definite kick, paired with some tasty dipping sauce, chutney, and even grilled pineapple. A fun combo and definitely one of the stronger dishes. The mains, though, both the butter chicken and homestyle bhuna chicken, leaned very much on the milder side. The sauces were more liquidy than expected, and they felt geared toward diners who prefer Indian food without the heat. With slightly less gravy and a bit more spice, both dishes could've been standouts. The garlic naan was fine, though more firm than the soft, melt-in-your-mouth style I usually prefer. Overall, I'd say Four Monkeys is a good try and a nice addition to Summit, but probably not my go-to Indian spot for the food alone. That said, the ambiance is great, the staff is wonderful, and it's worth a visit, especially if you're into milder Indian flavors or want a cozy, lively night out.
