Ok so I typically would have given this place 4 stars simply cuz their location is obnoxious af but now I'm disgusted! Last winter, I entered this place with my handicapped aunt & I was GROSSED tf out. Does the staff do anything besides sit at booths on laptops? The silverware was nasty (all of it not just ours). The booth was dirty as hell, but it was the best looking one they had at the time. I still never said anything & chalked it up to just some really lazy people working that day. But last night, you officially lost myself & my family! My soup was disgusting & cold even though I picked it up on time, but nvm the nasty cat food they passed off as 'broccoli cheddar soup'... I stopped here for a cup of old english breakfast tea and a cinnamon bagel. The bagel felt like it was days old, very dry and hard and though you make your own tea or coffee, the qualify was the tea bag was really bad. Definitely was not worth the money and time spent. Ordered my food for dine in via the app, what a great feature! I was nearby shopping across the way. I didnt see in the app that my sandwich came with a dipper, and it was tomato. Tomato makes me sick and the worker (i think he is the manager) easily swapped it. The sandwich was delicious (chicken pesto), and i enjoyed dipping it. Quick in & out takeout at Panera after a long wait in the Vaccine line . Famished & drooling over all items on the shelf and menu , ordered a Sandwich & cup of Turkey chilli. Very Clean & following all Covid protocol , limited crowd , quick service & fresh hot delicious food , maintaining Panera standards . I went to this location this morning. I customized my order to reflect no egg ! When I got to work there was egg and no cheese! and on the wrapper itself, it said no cheese.. I did not customize to say no cheese no egg.. when I complained the woman who was apparently the manager said I needed to customize next time and I told her that I did and she said no you didn't got a little snooty.. As a person who eats with my eyes, I am really feeling duped by the menu photographers. The pics of the food items on the website, and on the iPads they make you order from, I feel like a real idiot for spending over $11 for breakfast. The photo of the Chipotle Chicken, Scrambled Egg & Avocado looked absolutely incredible... ok, you suckered me Panera. I ordered it. And what was thrown at me on a plate was a clumped up wrap of sorts with chipotle and veggies barely spread over the handheld wrap. Oh, and the wrap was broken in two places - leaking food and bits of sauce and veggies falling on the plate. I substituted whites for eggs, easy to order, but not cool Panera to have professional photos taken which are nowhere near what comes out. And if the food photos are deceitful, heavens knows what other liberties they take. If I had a food allergy, I would ignore this place. Not sure if they are 2 stars or 3. The staff is friendly and when I dine it, my food is always promptly delivered to my table. The only downside is during peak hours, it's nearly impossible to find a table. This is Panera Bread. You've obviously got your typical healthy fast food options here. Service is quite slow, though it can get very busy here. I ordered through the kiosk rather than at the cashier, and my relatively small order took a while to come out. The men's restroom here is quite bad. While the seating areas in the restaurant seem to be relatively clean, the restroom is quite the opposite. Very bad smells, wet, sticky floor. If you do not know, it is supposed to come with Emerald greens, sliced turkey, special sauce, bacon, and melted cheese. As you can see in this picture, there is one leaf, There was no effort put into taking the turkey out of the package, barely a half of a slice of bacon, and the cheese is nowhere near melted, and it is only one singular slice ripped in half. there is also no sauce. I did observe the staff cleaning up tables and walking around a lot, which was nice. The two star review is actually more a reflection of the parking situation at the Somerville Circle Center, which is just poorly designed, crowded, and has a ton of blind spots.
