    Pork Roll Egg and Cheese
    Saqui R.

Tried this spot for the first time. Had a Pork Roll Egg and Cheese and it was a hit. Behind the counter was Steven which I believe was the owner. This guy is what all ownership should be. He gave me enough information to make my decision easier. Nothing better than someone friendly and personable like him. They have outside seating which I also liked. No inside dining. You want a quick breakfast or lunch, I believe this spot will come through. Thanks for the good breakfast.

Tried PopsPlace for breakfast and the sandwiches were definitely solid--hearty, well-layered, and super flavorful. The avocado, egg, and Taylor ham combo was a standout, and the sausage, egg, and cheese with a little hot sauce hit the spot too. That said, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. Good for a splurge or a treat-yourself morning, but maybe not an everyday stop. Also, heads up there is no seating as well.

Pleasantly surprised by this hole in the wall family owned deli. The true jersey way for a sandwich is sliced fresh and piled high and boy did pops do it right. They took over a previous bbq spot but kept the esthetics modern and clean. Plenty of seating if you come in for lunch and parking conveniently in the back. Service was great, the cashier was patient and knew all the customers usual orders. For food I grabbed a Steve wrap: chicken cutlet, bacon American cheese lettuce tomato. Hefty wrap loaded with fixings wrapped right. At a premium ~ $14 will gladly come back for more. Congrats on expanding looking forward to returning

I ordered a pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwich through DoorDash. Not only was it very reasonably priced, it was loaded with almost double the amount of meat and egg that you would normally get on this type of sandwich. I would definitely move this place to the top of your list when you're in the area and are searching for a hearty breakfast sandwich that is also a great value.

Apparently they have new owners. They don't pay attention to the online orders. Will not be back.

Tried the Paulie JR on a roll and it was really good! Fresh and all of the ingredients go together well. It wasn't overwhelming either, like when some sandwiches have too much going on. The food came out quickly as well. I tried sitting outside at the tables since it was a nice day but I was intimidated by some wasps that wanted a piece of my sandwich. They have a parking lot so you don't have to worry about the street parking of Main St. If only they were open earlier so that I could grab a hearty breakfast before work.

Pops was decent, but we felt there are better sandwich shops in the area. Food: the Juliana is just a chicken parm. The cutlet was sliced thin and crispy, but lacked seasoning. Bread was nice and soft. The Elise was also a bit bland. The chicken needed more seasoning the balsamic didn't really help. The wrap was also very wet and dripping out of the bottom. We were very disappointed in the amount of fries that we received for $5. It was a very small portion. Ambiance: the restaurant is very spacious with a lot of seating. It's very inviting with nice decor. Service: you walk up and order then the food is brought to your table. The person at the counter was friendly.

I got a cheese steak with peppers only. It was absolutely amazing. Every bite had so much cheese !!! Definitely try their fries too!

Fresh bread. Meaty sandwiches. Thin sliced everything! We are super picky with our italian subs, and this place is absolutely perfect!

Felt like getting a pork roll, egg and cheese sandwich on a hard roll. Saw some pics on Yelp and it looked good. Nice no seating deli kind of place and my sandwich was great with lots of pork roll, 2 eggs and nicely melted cheese. It wasn't on a hard roll but still tasty. Hope to try some other Sandwiches in the future.

A rainy Saturday morning on mothers day when all brunch places were overbooked, this place still looked empty with apprehension we entered to order a few items from pancakes to full platter breakfast with breakfast sandwiches, blueberry pancakes, Nutella French toast. It was quite a spread with huge portion size and reasonable pricing . Food took a bit to arrive for a party of 6, with self serve coffee. Overall very pleasantly surprised, a small diner like experience would highly recommend going to this unassuming place if you are hungry for a diner style kid friendly cozy place

They're always really good and a great option if you're in the mood for something tailored to you. I also went for breakfast for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. I tried the Fruity Pebbles matcha, which was pretty good, though I think I would've liked it even more with 2% milk, which they didn't seem to have. I also had the So Extra sandwich and it was so good. The hash brown was still perfectly crispy inside the sandwich, the eggs were fried just right, I loved the touch of spinach, and whatever sauce was on it really tied everything together. I'd honestly come back just for that sandwich alone. Also it's super cute inside, perfect to bring a friend or date looking for a healthier option in downtown Somerville, NJ!

I had the grandma's boy, cashew mac n' cheese, and a customizable bowl. The grandma's boy consisted of a fried oyster mushroom, red cabbage, pickles, pepper jack, chipotle mayo, and horseradish on a white bun. This was not bad. The sandwich was filled to capacity, and the sauces were a nice combination along with the crispy cheese. The pickles were good and I wish there were even more added. The fried mushroom just tasted like batter without much from the mushroom, which was really the only negative about this. The mac and cheese was made with a homemade cashew cheese. Texturally, it felt like a traditional mac and cheese, but the sauce threw me off a little. It was more plain than anything. Regarding my bowl, I opted for blackened chicken, quinoa, spring mix, bacon, chickpeas, corn, edamame, and a house Greek dressing. This was nicely put together. The chicken was seasoned and cooked ideally while the Greek dressing really brought everything together. I really enjoyed the bacon pieces as well.

The vibes of the old house were great though! Once sat, our waitress was alright. She was kind of quiet (especially once the louder groups were in) and not overly friendly, but food and drink delivery was prompt so that was nice. I got a cider and my coworker had a couple of beers. We split the caramel shrimp (very tasty) and I also had the cheddar IPA soup. The soup was good but could have used maybe just a bit more salt for my taste. He wound up getting the pub burger and said it was delicious. I had the BLT and added fried chicken. The chicken wasn't the fried chicken I imagined (not as breaded/crispy) but the sandwich was really good! Overall, it was a neat spot that I'd go back to if I was in town.

Blame your president as he insists upon annihilating everyone and sending our collective pressure through the roof. We arrived about 20 minutes before the end of Happy Hour and snagged a couple of beers as well as wings and a shrimp quesadilla. The food was great but the service was the real stunner. I found myself stuck between two beers and the bartender suggested Arnold Palmering it and going halfsies on both. Fantastic decision - the mixed drink was refreshing and tart without being too pedestrian or too far afield. Food came out quickly and deliciously. Saved $15 on food prices alone during Happy Hour. Fat things: The bar stools are excellent - steel with a wide seat and a foot bar so your legs don't fall asleep. And they don't pack too many of them in so it's easy to get into and out of your seat without bumping someone else. Other stuff: They have regular indoor seating and an outdoor seating area on the side with couches, high table, and heat lamps. Overall, the space is open, airy, bright, and clean. It's pretty packed when the temps warm up but shoulder season is very nice for us right now. Be advised: Regular menu prices still seem steep - like everything else these days. But the food is good and they have a very nice craft beer selection. If you can't make happy hour and are looking to treat yourself this might be it. We'll def return!
