Breakfast sandwich
Ernst W.

Just enjoyed a thoroughly delicious breakfast/lunch with wonderful food from Chef/owner Sam. Professional, cheerful service and great coffee. Crazy good smoked brisket/pastrami breakfast sandwich was epic. Btw, smoker was going out on patio this frigid day, which began the seduction before entry :) Dessert was on site baked croissant, And cinnamon rolls. All were best in class :) Our area is kind of a quality food desert.... Sam has made Oldwick Market a shimmering oasis of ambrosial food! Thank you. I will be back asap

I absolutely love the new look with the original wood beams, but even more importantly, the food is fantastic!

I wanted to like this place so badly because the woman here is so sweet. But I'm not only upset but…read moreappalled by how terrible the service was the food and the price. The soda was gross. We ordered two entrees and after another review my sister and I thought it came with the meal only for her to charge us $13.50 for this salad. I also ordered garlic knots expecting six but she brought out 12. No problem she didn't ask and maybe I didn't clarify. The penne vodka was absolutely not all it was cracked up to be. And to make matters worse our drinks were empty long before we finished eating and the lady spent about 10 mins talking to a couple at the bar not checking in on us once. We asked the counter guy for to go boxes and to clear our check. He gave us the boxes and said the lady would close the check... we only waited about 5 more minutes for their convo to wrap up. I'm beyond mad and upset that this whole experience ran me $80.

We walked into the dining room area and found a nice little restaurant with cloth tablecloths. I apologized to the owner for my appearance and she said not to worry, that I looked just fine :) We enjoyed the garlic knots first which hit the spot after those hills that we climbed. Our entrees both came with side salads and bread for the table. My daughter got the penne vodka which is her go to. She ranked it as one of her top 3 penne vodkas ever. I enjoyed my chicken parm and the bread for the table was delicious. Our server was very friendly and attentive, even though I felt not dressed right. You definitely don't have to dress up - but we were sweaty in leggings and hiking boots. But regardless they made us feel welcome and served delicious food. We will definitely go back again when we are in the area.

The moment you walk in, you are welcomed by a warm and intimate atmosphere that feels genuinely Italian, more like being invited into someone's home than visiting a restaurant. The food is exceptional, fresh, full of flavor, and made to order with obvious care. The husband and wife team prepares everything with such personal attention, and her homemade desserts are truly something special. Do not leave without trying one. This charming little spot has definitely earned a place on our list of places to return to. If you are looking for delicious Italian food served with heart, this is absolutely the place to go.

Food took an hour to be served. Only 1 person cooking and 1 person serving and handling all the take out orders. Everything was served in plastic takeout containers and cheap paper plates. Our bill was around $240 plus tip for 4 people for appetizers and dinner. It's BYOB. For this price point we should not be eating on plastic and buying bottled water. Arancini balls were good. Herb crusted salmon was plain in a pool of something. Pizza was not good. They really need to have china and glasses and more help on service. Service was disorganized and food was disappointing.
