Special: Pit craft turkey breast melt sub
Colin M.

It's in an older strip mall next to liquor store, so how good could it be? Well, it's excellent and my new favorite lunch spot. We just moved to this part of town and I figured I would give it a try. I've now had lunch here almost every day for two weeks. Definitely check out the specials menu that they update daily on their website. There's always a few new and exciting options there. But the regular menu is also awesome and has a lot of variety. Everything is made-to-order fresh.

Food is convenient for quick service but quality is not all there. Also, they do not have a structured operating hours.

The first attempt was last year but unfortunately we came around…read more1:30pm on a weekday and they told us that the kitchen was already closed so we had to find another lunch spot. Finally I tried again and this second time I was able to try some of their offerings. I came on a Saturday and they were hosting DayLite Jersey House Music event. It was LOUD and packed with people just standing around. The vibes were cool though. My friends came before me and were able to snag a table in the back room. I went up to the counter to order. Unfortunately my first choice, a matcha latte, was sold out. I asked if they had any other options because I'm not much of a coffee drinker. I was told that there were flavored lemonades, I asked the about the flavors and the person who was helping me wasn't sure so they went and asked another person who ended up coming to list the syrups and just ringing me out. I ordered a blueberry lemonade and a blueberry pop-tart to go. Everything was fine until the end of our time there. As we were getting ready to leave I grabbed what I thought was my cup and took a quick sip to finish it off so I didn't have to carry it around. Turns out I grabbed a coffee from the table instead. I thought it was my friend's so I apologized to her about drinking her drink because I didn't realize I grabbed the wrong one in the dark. She goes, "oh no it's not my drink...I have mine in my hand." I'm like whose drink and dishes are these? She said that they were there before they got there and they just pushed it to the side. Omg I almost gagged, I just took the biggest sip of some random person's drink by accident. At that point I get up to go to the bathroom to rinse out my mouth. While I'm gone by friends get their things ready and also wait outside the bathroom, which is right by our table. As soon as I get out I walk back to grab my pop-tart and it was gone, cleared away by the staff in a matter of minutes. Crazy that they left the table with dishes and cups when we got there but when we were leaving they were in a rush to clear away everything that they take my basically full pop-tart too. I was so defeated at that point I just left. To note, I did take one bite of the pop-tart and it was actually very good. My lemonade was fine, nice and tart. Overall service is kinda lacking but it was also a crazy day to visit with an event going on so I can't really comment on how they are normally. I don't think I will back because I don't know if I can recover from swigging some rando's drink.

Service is always wonderful and tonight, Rachel was no exception My meal tonight was appitizer of fresh Guacamole. Wow. It was made moments before it was served. The chips (which I'm not supposed to eat) were fresh & crispy. For my entry I got Olla de Carne. A rich Latin beef stew with generous veggies and chunks of tender stew beef. I told Rachel my mom made stews this fresh and rich but the Division Cafe's Olla de Carna became an instant favorite.

It has expanded and taken up a bit more space over the years, and the expansion is well-deserved. Featuring a Pura Vida Costa Rican flare you have a number of options available for both breakfast and lunch. I've tried quite a bit of the menu, but they are known for their tried and true empanadas. They have about half a dozen varieties and I end up getting at least one of each every time I visit. They're hot, big, flavorful, and the shell is a perfect consistency. The waitstaff is some of the friendliest around. The outdoor seating is also quite nice in the summertime alongside the pedestrian street. In terms of the menu, it's hard to say there is a standout, because I get something different each time, and I have yet to go wrong. Everything here is absolutely excellent, and I look forward to each return visit to come.

I was looking for a good baguette in my neighborhood for a while. But as simple as a baguette may seem, making a tasty one is an art. I was running some errands when I suddenly felt pekish. I saw on Yelp that there was an "authentic French bakery" nearby and decided, "Why not?" Originally, I was thinking of getting a quiche, but as I got into the store, I decided to switch to an avocado egg sandwich. I am sure quiche is good, but I was impressed by the sandwich. It came on the plate with very fresh salad greens. Greens there fresh and sauce tangy, just what one needs to cut through the richness of avocado and egg. I think I had an entire Avacado cut on it. The avocado itself was just right. But the star of the show, for me, was a baguette! I inhaled the entire dish and asked if they sell baguettes on their own, which they do. The bakery associate told me they just ran out, but they are baking new ones now. If I wait 10-15 minutes, I will get a freshly baked one. I could not believe my lack. They came as promises and they were great, just smell alone was to die for There are so many other things I want to try, so I'll definitely be back. Thank you guys, you all made my day!

She was so personable, informative, and actually seemed like she cared which you don't always get! My husband and I got the 'Breaking Bread' appetizer which had some delicious bread and dips. One was garlic butter which they need to sell a jar of - I would pay big money for it! The others are a fig jam and pesto dip which were also great. We also got the 'Watermelon No-ito" drink and "Summer Solstice" lemonade which were non-alcoholic drinks and super delicious. For our entrees, my husband got the 'BBQ Meatloaf' which came with green beans, corn and mashed potatoes and he really enjoyed this. I don't remember the exact dish's name I had but it was Spicy Rice Noodles with vegetables. It was also very good! Lastly, we did get dessert. Honestly, we were SO stuffed and should of passed but they all sounded so good! I got the 'Berry Crisp'. Coming from someone who don't care for Oatmeal cookies, this was good. The fruit on this was super fresh. My husband got the 'Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet' which is enjoyed. Keep in mind, that dish was pretty big and could have shared between the both of us. Would I come back and recommend? 100%. We had a wonderful experience with the staff and food.

There was a bit of a mix up during our dinner with meals and the system going down but it was quickly fixed and not a problem overall. We started with 'Gabe's Street Corn' which was fresh char grilled NJ corn on the cob smothered in buttery brown sugar sriracha sauce, house chipotle aioli, smoked paprika, parmesan & fresh cilantro. I would come back just for this ... this was SO delicious. I am a Street Corn lover but this was some of the best I've ever had. For our entrees, my husband got the 'Root Beer BBQ Burger' which was char grilled angus burger, swiss, provolone, hardwood smoked bacon, house sarsaparilla root beer BBQ, lettuce, tomato, frizzled onions & cheese crusted brioche. This burger was BIG and he said it was one of the best he's ever had. I ordered the 'Grilled Watermelon & Basil Salad' which was mixed greens, toasted almonds, feta cheese, hardwood smoked bacon, charred juicy watermelon, fresh chopped basil, sliced cucumbers & house buttery garlic croutons; Served with balsamic vinaigrette. There was definitely not enough watermelon, but the salad was huge and quite good; very fresh. That is one thing I can say for sure; the portions are big. The prices are a bit high but you get a good portion. For my dessert, we got the ice cream flight which is 4 flavors of your choosing. We tried the 'Peanut Butter Cup' (very light on flavor, not in your face peanut butter but still good), 'Strawberry Buttermilk' (this was my favorite! So creamy and flavorful), 'Black Raspberry Truffle' (another favorite. HUGE chocolate chunks!) and 'Watermelon Garden Mint Mojito' (Light flavor, but not my favorite. I would not get this again. I tasted mostly mint, not too much watermelon). I would 100% come back if I was in the area and I would recommend. I love any place that has unique ice cream flavors and not just the typical flavors. Service was friendly and felt very welcoming.
