I love this location. Whenever I'm in town visiting my buddy I get a whole sandwhich to eat partially while there and then take the rest on my journey back home as a train-snack or next day meal haha. The staff are easy going and work quickly, always listening and making sure they get my order right. You can tell they're friendly with the regulars which is really nice to see in this small town. The interior is small and you can feel the age of the location but it's still clean and very comfortable/welcoming inside! I love the cold cut subs like the #5 Italian Super Sub - 1, 2, 3 Combined. The place itself is very unassuming but once inside the staff greets you with a smile and offers a choice of half or full sub. My husband got their chipotle cheesesteak, made to order and although eating it was a little messy he says it was delicious. My sub was a bit simpler, turkey, lettuce, tomato with oil & vinegar; next time I'd ask for extra as the sandwich was a little drier than I like but probably healthier . Please see pictures. I ordered a salad iced tea and water. The salad container was not bagged, taped or secured in any way. It was placed in a used produce box, along with the three bottles. Apparently the bottles must have rolled in transit, breaking the container and pouring the salad all over the box. Very unsanitary and I thought vendors were supposed to ensure items are not tampered with because other stores even tape the bags shut. Now I have no meal, garbage to through out and a nice produce box that I will need to cut down and take out for recycling. Very unhygienic, very concerning and very unprofessional. And I paid $25 for this privilege!!!!! read more

The first time I came here I ordered their Roast Beef and Provolone Cheese Sub with lettuce, tomatoes, oil, vinegar, oregano, and black pepper . It was delicious. My bf ordered their Italian Sub. This place doesn't skimp on meat. All the meats are cut to order, then your sub is finished with toppings by another server. I ordered a half of a sub and it was big. At first I thought it was a whole sub. I really enjoyed it and went back the next day for another sub. This time I tried their Tuna Sub and it was loaded with fresh tuna. I got lettuce, tomatoes, and oil, vinegar, oregano and black pepper. It was also very good. Along with my subs I got their homemade macaroni and potato salad. They were both very good. Ordered the #4 and my experience was quite disappointing. The sandwich I ordered had hardly any meat on it, making it feel more like a bread sandwich than a sub. Additionally, the bread itself was tasteless and stale, which made the overall experience even worse. I expected a hearty, flavorful sub, but instead, I received a subpar product that didn't live up to the shop's reputation. There should have been a lot more meat on it, for the price. Best subs in Hillsborough, New Jersey! I visited just after 12 noon on a weekday for lunch. It was busy and the line was almost out the door but they were very quick with everyone. I waited no longer than 5 minutes. The Dietz & Watson deli meats are cut fresh as you order. Ordered a whole sub, it was quite pricey at close to $15, but I love the idea of the fresh-cut deli meats. Yummy, quick sub place. My family has eaten Just Subs practically every Sunday since as long as I can remember. At this time shift, there a couple workers who know my parents by name. Awesome, friendly staff. Small amount of seating available. An adequate assortment of chips available and potato, macaroni, and coke slaw as well. Delicious subs that are made before you (except the hot sandwiches) and you have the option of creating it as a platter if you are low carbs. Just Subs is just what it says... subs. Although there are some pasta salads and coleslaw, if you want subs come here. I cannot judge many of the items on the menu since I am vegetarian, but they have quality subs made very quickly. The owners are friendly and seem to have relations within the community. There seem to be large amounts of regulars as well as people who stop in whenever they are in the neighborhood.
