I loved Cava, however the last 3 times Ive come to this location they have been out of the ingredients I get in my bowl! It throws off the perfect balance of flavors I look forward to enjoying!! Today they were out of cucumber mint limeade, arugula and white rice, last time they were out of the pickled red onions and my boyfriends steak was so dried out - he didnt end up finishing or enjoying his bowl. Another issue, was when I order online and they are out of an ingredient, they dont let you know and you end up getting something you did not order... I really hope they work out these issues because when Im hungry, CAVA is my first choice. read more

I ordered food from the Brick location for the first time and all I can say is I will definitely return. I got the chicken and rice bowl and it was delicious. The chicken was well cooked, the veggies were fresh and the hummus & tzatziki were amazing. It even came with a pita on the side. Ordering was super easy and the servers were so friendly. Here and there an item may be missing like a dressing or something. That is why I always double check my order before leaving. Typically when it comes to ordering at this location I always do the online ordering just because I want to grab and go. By the time I come to pick up my order my CAVA bag is on the counter ready to go. I've been to this CAVA location a couple times now. It's not my favorite location, but it gets the job done. During my last visit, I went with a group of fellow Yelpers after an event nearby. It seemed like whenever each one of us placed an order, they were out of something. In my case, they were out of garlic sauce. One of the staff gave me another option for a sauce. I think it was something lemon-based. It was okay. I think when you've been a CAVA regular in the past and you have your favorite things, it's disappointing when they don't have what you like. Everytime I eat Cava, I remember I actually enjoy this healthy-ish food! Came here last weekend because I needed to eat something healthy after eating too much junk the week before. My husband and I built our own bowls. He got the falafel bowl with lentils and I got the sweet harissa chicken with lentils. I got almost everything as the toppings, and got the taziki and honey vinaigrette! My husband didn't get as much toppings as I did, and they didn't give him much rice or lentils so his bowl looks empty in comparison. Still, both bowl was delicious. Coworker and I ordered today for lunch. Not only did they not follow the delivery directions and go to the wrong area, but by the time we got to eat our bowls we were very disappointed. They were hardly half full, and my friend was missing all of the meat from hers-and were charged extra for them. Mine had only two tiny pieces of falafel. When we each tried to reach out-her on the phone, me on the website, we were not able to get through to a person. Hype has a strange way of coloring your expectations. Cava, Cava, Cava is all I ever here from my friends who apparently dig the idea of grazing on chick peas, greens and rice as they regale me with plans to live to at least 120 feasting like a rabbit at this quick serve hutch. My falafel was pretty good, pricing was Chipotle+ and the service was post-pandemic average -- leaving my inner carnivore crying. They always pack the bowls to the brim and granted it's with all the veggies and dips I request but man does it make for a filling and satisfying meal. I placed a mobile order for pick-up around 5pm, and I was genuinely shocked at how small the portions were--especially for nearly $19. I could barely find any greens, rice, or steak in the bowl. It honestly looked half-filled. Did you run out of ingredients already? The food itself tasted pretty good, and the Mint Lime drink was excellent. The mobile app was also easy to use. Had Cava for the first time and it was really good, despite the lamb being a bit salty. And then I added olives, which made it more salty. I took a picture of the drink options on my way out and they look so good, I have to try one next time. The quality of the salad and toppings reminds me of what I used to get in Manhattan as a commuter. The prices do too! My order came up to over $21; however the meal was quite filling. Cava in Bridgewater is backed the heck up. So far wasted 27 minutes of my 30 minute lunch waiting for an order I ordered online 1 hour ago. Got the email my food is ready. Get here (across the street) and there are about 25 people waiting!!! Food is not going out. WTF?! And more than 1/2 the people who get their orders come back within minutes because they are wrong!! First time at Cava for both my wife and I. This isn't a review of the taste and quality of the food since both were good. I am giving 2 stars for everything else that matters to us (diners spending our money to enjoy a meal away from home)- ambiance, restaurant cleanliness, staff, and service. The Bridgewater restaurant at 620 Commons Way experience started poorly. The first person of the seemingly all-Latino* staff we encountered didn't say much to us and seemed to have trouble understanding us. I explained that this was my first time and quickly ordered what I had already decided on after studying the menu online before arriving. The second person we encountered couldn't answer a few simple questions about available sides I could add to my order. The last person was the cashier and she was having trouble ringing up our order. Maybe she was new. The restaurant itself was dirty with tables that were sticky and in poor condition. See pics. I wanted to get out of there as fast as possible...maybe that's the idea of "fast casual". Ha ha. Finally, while we were eating a staffer emptying the garbage in the very front of the restaurant was yelling something to the back of the house. And the back of the house were yelling their responses. I mean, literally yelling. And this went back and forth for a few minutes. The place makes you feel you're sitting in a McDonald's at 3pm after school gets out- if you know what I mean. You get the feeling like you sitting there trying to have a conversation during a quick meal didn't matter. We were in their clubhouse and you are not very welcome- just sort of necessary. I got Chipotle vibes when I walked in. Turns out, if I understood correctly, this location used to be a Chipotle. This place, on a random Saturday at 3pm, was hopping. Their selection isn't all that great. Bowls or Pita's. I dunno why but I was expecting more Greek selection but it's obviously Mediterranean fare. My kids were disappointed (mia culpa!). We ordered: Falafel Crunch - Falafel, roasted veggies, hummus, feta, pickled onions, pita crisps, lentils, rice, greens, skhug. They gave us two mini falafels...sad. Steak & Feta Pita - red pepper hummus, feta, pickles, romaine, garlic dressing, Greek vinaigrette. It was good but the meat was too chewy. Greek Chicken Pita - Grilled chicken, hummus, tzatziki, pickles, tomato + onion, olives, feta, romaine, Greek vinaigrette. Probably the best of all the selections. Kids enjoyed that one more but it was overly dressed which made the pita way too soggy and fall apart. Prices are high. Service was ok...very little smiles. Like my fellow Yelper said, it's on the order of Chipotle but just different ingredients. Seems fast casual is the way to go lately so I was excited. The menu was hella confusing. If I hadn't looked at the app prior to coming, I woulda felt I had no other option than the bowls posted. Instead, I asked for the Greek Salad and went from there. Got to pick most of what I wanted except they didnt have feta. What's a Greek Salad without feta?!? BUT I was already halfway to completion so I continued. I seemed rushed and the employee looked at me like I was holding up the line. It was my first time and I felt like a deer in headlights and the staff was in the driver's seat ready to make a kill. Truly truly disappointed. I've been a CAVA goer for AGES now. Tonight my boyfriend came home truly distraught from the actions of the workers in this location. He described service as unpleasant and truly thoughtless. This awful experience began as he asked for a honey chicken bowl, and received not only a regular chicken, a little honey chicken, but also a sour attitude. Then as he caught the mistake, was scowled and the worker proceeded to add specifically 3 pieces of honey chicken to compensate. Also in my bowl today, the rice was really hard. Disappointed. I returned here for another bowl and went with different choices this time. I went with another greens and grains bowl but chose the black lentils and romaine lettuce this time around. They really held back on the romaine lettuce I thought. Besides that, I had spicy falafel with avocado, pickled red onions, crazy feta, roasted eggplant, kalamata olives, and the hot harissa vinaigrette. I also had a side of fresh pita, which was warm and crispy. I should have definitely chosen more toppings because the bowl was light, but that's my mistake. First experience at a Cava was a little stressful. The food was good but they were out of three of the toppings that we had asked for so we kept having to pivot. We also waited in line for over 20 minutes before we even got to the counter. I'd say I'll order pickup next time but the line for pickup was also a small crowd of at least 15 people crowded around the drink station that did not die down for a long time. Since this was my first time at a Cava I didn't realize that I wasn't offered my complimentary pita until after I was already done with my meal. Are we supposed to ask for them?
