We ordered a round of delicious appetizers.. hummus, saksuka, cheese rolls.. all of it was delicious. I especially loved the octopus app special.. magnificent! Entrees were especially of large portion, which was greatly appreciated. Everything tasted fresh and was beautifully presented. I ordered the Pyramid chicken which was delicious. Their chicken is flavorful and juicy. For dessert, my keskul was amazing! Plenty of pistachio on top with a delicate and very well balanced vanilla custard. I could eat that daily. I definitely plan on returning!!

This place is seriously a food gem. They have a wide variety of ethnic foods available and all the food is cooked to order so its always fresh. The staff is friendly and full of character and they are always willing to accommodate if a substitution on a dish is needed. Fresh made soups are made daily (usually two special soups and the matzo ball soup is always available) and the deli has the freshest and tastiest deli options around (pastrami, corn beef, turkey, etc.) Entrees I love: Falafel platter: it comes with falafels, made on site, presented beautifully on a delicious spread of hummus and served with the fluffiest pita you have ever had!! Steak: A large steak, on the bone, and grilled to absolute perfection. Sometimes they have a special sauce of red wine reduction, mushrooms, and onions to drizzle on top. It is served with whatever you want (although I always get the french fries - they are REALLY good there). The veggie burger is made on location and it is large enough to feed the hungriest of people. It is served on a bun with delicious french fries - it is seriously one of the best I have ever eaten. HOWEVER, don't let that fool you, my friends go and get the regular beef burger all the time and they always comment on how big and juicy they are. The Orchid Wrap: It's fried chicken cutlet, onions, mushrooms, and hot sauce. Seriously amazing. The dining area is small but cozy and the staff is friendly and eager to please. I recently tried The Orchid Restaurant, and I have to say, I was blown away by the food. While the restaurant itself is more of a pickup station than a traditional dine-in spot, the quality of the dishes is absolutely top-notch. I ordered the pastrami on rye, and it was a culinary masterpiece. The flavors were so rich and perfectly balanced that I would easily rate it a solid 10/10. The pastrami was tender, and the rye bread was fresh - it was hands down the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had. Even though the atmosphere and service are minimal due to the pickup format, the outstanding food has made me an instant and enthusiastic regular customer. On a positive note, the service was nice. The cashier was friendly and even offered additional sauces free of charge, which I appreciated. However, they didn't include any pita bread with the order, which I was expecting. Another downside was the 3.5% charge for using a credit card, which felt unnecessary. Overall, I wouldn't really recommend it--not because of the service, but because the food itself lacked flavor. I probably wouldn't go back, but I'll definitely keep searching for a better chicken over rice spot.

The tahini is very liquify and seeps into everything. The vegetables were not good. The tomato tasted cold, pale and mealy. The lettuce on the appetizer had seen better days. Very expensive. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, and the tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, and feta cheese were all fresh and flavorful. The grilled chicken cubes were juicy, tender, and seasoned perfectly. The salad was beautifully presented, and the olive oil and lemon dressing brought everything together. My only complaint is that the grilled chicken portion was extremely small, especially considering the price. I would also have liked a slightly larger overall salad. Despite that, the quality and flavor were excellent, and I would definitely order it again. Hummus - 5/5 The hummus was smooth, creamy, and full of fresh flavor. It paired perfectly with the bread and was one of our favorite appetizers. Beautiful presentation, excellent taste, and very fresh. I just wish the serving size had been a bit larger. They also give you a side of "mommy's sauce," and omg... it was soooo good mixed with the hummus. It's a secret family recipe made by the owner herself, which makes it even better! For the entrée, we ordered the mixed grill platter. My favorite meats were the gyro slices and the beef cubes. The beef cubes were perfectly seasoned--seriously next level. The rice underneath all the meat was also excellent and packed with flavor. Will definitely be back!!
