    Kind of a hidden gem in Warren. Came on a Sunday night and it was practically empty. Really good food and good portions. We started with the mixed cold appetizers and the fried calamari. All of the different spreads were delicious and presented well. It doesn't come with bread or pita though, so be sure to save some of the welcome bread or order more bread as a side. For mains we tried the lamb chops, ravioli's, branzino and mixed grill. Everything came out cooked perfectly and tasted great for the most part. My only complaint is that the ravioli's didn't have much filling. The main courses are also a little on the expensive side for central NJ. Regardless, my family and I really enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back again and try more of the menu.

    INCREDIBLE!!! From the outside, one wouldn't think how lovely this white tablecloth restaurant was so I was pleasantly surprised! Gorgeously decorated and charming. Quiet and romantic. The food is equally as wonderful. Everything, beginning to end, was beautifully presented. My favorite was the octopus. AMAZINGGGG! A MUST HAVE!!! The server was sweet and such a darling! What a STELLAR, TOP NOTCH experience! Thankful to my Yelp friend who introduced me to this place. Can't wait to come back!

    Authentic Turkish food, food was seasoned well (not too salty). First, the bread is amazing, so soft and airy and kinda reminds me of a pizza crust. I got the mixed platter for 2 and it was more than enough food for us! This came with 4 types of mixed meat, two types of rice, and a mixed salad with vinaigrette. I also got the baba ganoush on the side and this was the only thing I was disappointed about. It was very heavy on mayo and I'm just not use to eating baba ganoush with mayo before so it was just unexpected and tasted off to me.

    I attended a family event there 10 days ago. The restaurant was located inside a plaza with a parking lot. The restaurant itself is a size size with many tables. We had the restaurant to ourselves from 11AM-3PM for the event. The restaurant staff were quite helpful in setting up for the event and answered our questions. We had a prix fix menu for the event and the food was good for the most part. I wish my chicken shwarma wasn't dry. The appetizers were good. My sister's chicken shish kebab was good. We got 2 desserts - baklava and kunefe and they were both yummy. I enjoyed the kunefe so much that I bought myself one to go. I would like to dine there again next time I'm in the area.

    It was not my first time to this place and it was a pleasure. No doubt of it. The food was good as usual, the service great and the ambiance is cozy and quiet, for a good dinner with friends and family. The server helped us to make a good choice from the menu , we got out from there satisfied. From the bread with olive oil to the rice pudding everything was delicious; It is BYOB so you can bring your own favorite bottles ;

    So happy to find a Turkish restaurant option even closer to home. We usually head to Parsippany, Paterson or New Brunswick from Hunterdon County. This place was only 30 min from our house, super easy to get to and has ample parking. The interior is very bright, clean and nicely decorated with Turkish touches throughout. Our servers were very friendly, patient and attentive. They easily answered all of our questions and waited patiently for our children to practice their Turkish! The menu is extensive enough, offering the most important options for a Turkish cuisine. For appetizers we had the ezme and a Pomegranate salad. They were excellent. Very fresh and so flavorful. It is served with very delicious homemade pide bread. I had one of my favorites, Adana Kebab, for my entree. It was tender but I could have used a little more spice/seasoning. The pilav that came with it was cooked perfectly. My daughter had the Mantı (they call it Turkish ravioli). It was very tasty with lots of seasoning and a huge portion. My son and husband both ordered the pide (mixed and gyro) and they loved it. The bread is so tender and delicious. The toppings were high quality as well. For dessert we had tea, of course, and we shared a dish that I have never had before. I cannot remember the name but I t was also very good. We are mostly likely to return to this restaurant the next time we are craving Turkish food!

    Food: delicious food, with a very nice twist of its own. The bread they brought was addictive. Turkish pides are so unique and good. You can describe them as pizza upgraded to a new height. Manti was perfectly seasoned. Adana kebap was delicious. We could not get enough. It is also huge portions. There is enough left for leftovers. Service: two servers seem to rotate without skipping a beat Value: it is about $45 per person. Considering we all had leftovers, it is reasonable The place was tastefully decorated. Lots of authentic decorations without being too much. Highly recommend Zaytin. One of the best Turkish restaurants in NJ

    This is a very good location for a restaurant in Warren, NJ. Food was so fresh especially the hummus. The server was very accommodating and attentive.

    Unfortunately I have to give this place two stars. We researched and this place had Halal Turkish cuisine and in pictures and on yelp looked appetizing. Location is great and place is very warm. Entrance to the restaurant is rather strange but acceptable. We ordered four different dishes to try. From hard core Turkish eggplant stuffed to spinach medley to mixed grill. I am sorry to say everything was a disappointment. Nothing tasted like it should. We barely touched any dish. Took some to go which kids decided to also throw away. To add to this, after taste was really bad as everyone had acid reflux afterwards. From service standpoint very nice people, but you shouldn't have to ask for water during your meal especially on not so busy of a night. Hopefully if we come next experience will be different.

    Mixed grill for 1, manti dumplings

    A family member wanted to try this place out and it has a 5.0 on Google with over 100 reviews. Only 1 review on Yelp but hey, must be pretty good at least right? Decided to get takeout here and the staff member picking up the phone was friendly. I ordered a Turkish coffee, baba ganoush, mixed grill for 1, manti dumplings, burger (lamb and beef mix per staff, just lamb per their menu), and baklava. I am very lenient with ratings on Yelp since I try to help businesses out. I generally haven't reviewed places I'd give a 4* or lower but I was so disappointed, especially with all the positive reviews. I was super surprised to see a new middle eastern/Mediterranean place in this plaza, since Silk Road (Afghan) is there and I've also seen Istanbul Foodlovers (one of the signs is still there in the plaza) as well. Then I looked up the latter and learned it was a name change to Zaytin, and former reviews are mediocre. There was 1 table occupied ~ 7 pm in the restaurant. The $5 coffee had huge lumps of coffee grounds in it; it wasn't filtered. Burger didn't look too hot visually and a family member took a bite or 2 and threw it out. Fries were decent. Bread was alright and baba ganoush was decent; large portion but was lacking flavor. Manti was not bad, the each dumpling is very small and they were covered in white sauce. Good texture but not much flavor. Mixed grill items were all lacking flavor. Chicken was fine, Adana kebab was eh, lamb shish had some sinew in it. Baklava was super oily and not that good; family member thought Shoprite's baklava tasted better. I love Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food and have tried a good variety. Antioch, another Turkish place in Englewood, is infinitely better. Nearby, Hills of Herat is fantastic, Silk Road is solid, and 12 Islands is very good as well. Even the chipotle style Cava is far superior... Meh.

The service was friendly, and the food came out extremely quickly. I felt we were being rushed just a tad, but not a huge deal. For appetizers, the falafel ($7?), Mantu ($8?), and bholani cadu ($6?) were ordered. Regarding the falafel, there were five to an order. The falafel was very crispy and had decent flavor. I thought they needed a little more seasoning present. The Mantu were Afghan style dumplings filled with ground beef, onions, and seasonings. It was garnished with homemade mint yogurt and lentil sauce. This was light and soft with tons of flavor. The dumplings were filled appropriately, and the lentil sauce was a pleasant addition. The bholani cadu was a thin fried pastry filled with butternut squash and seasoned with fresh herbs and spices. This was interesting. The wonton was very crispy. The squash filling was sweeter than I thought, but still tasty. I also might add all of the three sauces provided at the tables were good, with the cilantro one being my favorite (cilantro I believe anyway). For my entrée, I had the lamb shank ($38?). It came with a soup, salad, a choice of rice, and naan. The soup appeared to be a lentil soup. It came out hot and was very pleasant. The salad consisted of tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers. It was prepared nicely as all the pieces were small and a good size portion. The simple dressing was great too. The lamb shank came with a few vegetables. The lamb was extremely tender, but not much meat was on the bone. There needed to be a little more seasoning too as it was lacking. I am just glad the lamb was so tender. I went with the Kabuli rice which had steamed carrots and raisins on top. This was fluffy and flavorful with a ton of it. The naan was okay, a little too crispy. I also tried the lamb chops. They had an unreal cook on them and seasoned well. I also tried the zamarud rice, which was good too. For dessert, the rice pudding ($8?) was ordered. It was creamy and filling. The nice crunch from the pistachios on top was a good addition. Will I go back? I would, yes.

We got takeout so can't speak to the ambiance but it's a small little place. I ordered online and ordered small size for the gyro, chicken kebabs and appetizer falafel/hummus and large size hummus and tabbouleh. It came with extra pita bread, yogurt sauce, and a spicy sauce. I was ordering for 3 people for dinner and it was just barely enough food. It was $100, which I feel is insane. I meant to take pics but we were hungry and I was not able to. Also, the proportion of meat to rice is another reason I don't feel like it was worth the price. I don't mean to be disrespectful or rude, but I think there are certain cuisines one expects to be more on the budget friendly side. For $100 I expect more. We ordered no drinks, no desserts no sides: just 2 appetizers & 3 small plates.
