A 5 star review at Panera borders on the absurd but let me explain. I rarely go to ANY Panera after the stunt they pulled during Hurricane Sandy - marketed themselves as one of the few businesses open then grossly inflated prices, substituted ingredients and charged $52 for 2 sandwiches and chips. It's been 14 years and I'm still ready to storm the Capitol over it. However, life after the Pandemic has been kinder to them. Between supercharged rewards, a revamped menu, and a painless grab and go system, when the coupons hit just right I'll drop by. It's tax time so my pockets are lighter than usual (message me for my Venmo) so I was checking my apps for freebies. Panera had a wild deal - $10 off $10 and a 2fer deal for 9.99. See where I'm going with this? Two 1/2 sandwiches and a chocolate chip cookie costs me $3 instead of like $25. What I did: -placed the order on the app -got 1/2 chicken salad (delicious) and 1/2 turkey (also delicious) -picked up right in store and went to the park to eat Employees greeted me and food was ready less than 10 minutes after ordering. Excellent experience! I've never been a Panera hype girlie, and Private Equity has done its usual burn n churn on both the value and quality of What Used to Be. However, a sweet spot still exists at the intersection of rewards, hunger, and tempered expectations. I live by underpromise and overdeliver. Panera has mastered that game well. No shade. read more

This Panera location is slow on week days. The rapid pickup takes 30 minutes or more. I placed an order and the app said order will be ready in 10 minutes. So I arrived and when I go there I had to wait 20 more minutes. I was nearly late to work after my 30 min lunch break. Also I looked at the menu screen to see an image of the latest meals. Everything has the same colors. Bits of green, red, yellow. The only difference was the various bread shapes. I think Panera needs more creativity. read more

Compared to other fast-food alternatives, Panera remains a pretty good choice. On this visit (one of three during my recent road trip), we ordered three breakfasts. Twice we ordered the freshly baked soufflé with egg, spinach, and cheese (one with artichoke and one just cheese), and once we ordered the over easy egg, aged white cheddar, salt and pepper on brioche. We think the soufflés are typically very good, and the brioche rolls are warm, soft and tasty, one of the better egg sandwiches available, and a large upgrade over something like an Egg McMuffin! Even with a limited staff, the service was good on our visits. We would be happy to return to this Panera Bread. read more

Ok I like Panera in general, so that's a plus. However not all Panera's are made alike. I think this is one of the better ones. Clean inside and looks fairly new. I'm not from this area so idk how long this one has been open tbh. The staff was very friendly and the lady who helped me not only had great suggestions but she was very courteous, personable and was able to answer my questions and get me exactly what I was craving in the moment. My go tos are the caesar salad with chicken, broccoli cheddar soup, or the chipotle chicken avocado sandwich. I prefer to order online and pickup but staff inside is always friendly. First time stopping by this Panera. They had the self service ordering kiosks and plenty of seats. I only had a coffee and my new favorite sweet treat a cinnamon crunch scone which is just delicious! Lots of people picking up to go lunch orders and they were also sending out lots of deliveries. Seemed like a pretty busy lunch rush around 1:00pm. It's located across the street from Shop Rite and there are plenty of other shops in the area so it's a pretty busy location. Took me a minute to find a parking spot. I ordered Panera for Rapid Pick Up and it was ready on time perfectly. Unfortunately upon coming home with my order, they packed the wrong sandwich. But I called the store about the issue and a nice man answered and offered to refund the order completely since I was a decent ways away from the store. I didn't get his name but he was great and my guess is he is the store manager. Defiantly appreciate the kind gesture and how quickly they went about fixing their mistake. I love Panera. It's my favorite chain. But this one messed up my order, where I requested no sliced almonds on my Asian chicken salad. I've had this multiple times at other Paneras and never had a problem. I picked up my salad on the way to a class, and when I went to eat it a few hours later, it's got almonds. This location is trash. Super trash! Beverage dispensers are sitting on tables that's meant for customers. However the biggest trash of them all is the staff. These kids need a strong manager at this location. Staff should not be hanging out at the doorway of the kitchen when there's a customer table right there. Staff member talking about her breast. This location has become the de facto lunch option for many of my colleagues because it's the closest fast-casual restaurant, the menu is full of fresh and nominally healthy sandwiches, soups, and salads made-to-order and served quickly, and Panera Bread's app makes it very easy to order and pay for your your food in advance of arriving at the restaurant so you can walk in, grab your food, and get on with your life. Unfortunately, the service at this location is definitely in need of improvement. Although i place my order before the 15-minute excursion from my office to the store -- I usually have to wait another 10-15 minutes after arriving while I wait for my order to be prepared (even during off-peak periods) so running out during lunch to grab a sandwich to eat my desk turns into a 45-minute commitment. Additionally, on several occasions, my order has been prepared incorrectly -- including a turkey sandwich with no turkey on it or a salad prepared with iceberg lettuce when ordered with spinach. When you're paying a small premium for high-quality food, served quickly and as ordered - at the very least, you should expect to get exactly what you ordered (how you ordered it) in a timely manner. In the interest of avoiding the recurring disappointment of lunches from this location, I've started going elsewhere, even though that means I have to drive a little further from my office or wait a little longer because I can't place my order in advance. read more

I really hate going to this Panera. Cashiers are lazy and get orders wrong constantly. Ordered a bagel, sliced. No other customers after me. Forgot about the bagel, suddenly remembered, then asked the kitchen to slice it. There was a slicer up front close to the registers and kitchen person said as much. She responded with "oh she's not in a hurry" and "don't tell me what to fucking do". Last time I was here, 3 orders in a row were made for eat in while they all wanted to go. They forgot the bacon on my grilled cheese bacon and tomato. the "grilled" cheese was not grilled in any sense of the word. It was "warmed" up maybe but so no grilled. Tasted like Panera, which is good. Out of the pickled onions, that seems to be a trend wherever I go. Panera may want to look at their stocking of that item. One thing I'll say is it's a tight dining room. This spot probably best for take out. I was able to get a spot at a table with another friendly patron who was already eating. I placed a delivery order with Panera today. I've placed orders in the past and everything was fine. I ordered a bowl of French Onion Soup and it was supposed to come with a piece of French Bread. No bread. I realize that is a small thing but when you are existing it so you can add it to the Soup because they only give you 5-6 croutons it is disappointing. I also clicked that I needed utensils. Nothing in the bag. The Soup is great as usual it would have just been nicer if whoever got the order together would have made sure everything that was supposed to be there is. This location needs better management and training! I love Panera and have eaten at at least a dozen Panera locations in our area. This one is not up to par! I was there last Saturday for lunch and there were only 3 varieties of coffee available, none of which were decaffeinated. I chose hazelnut, and coffee grinds poured out of the spout in into my cup! Also the staff had run out of metal knives and gave me a plastic one but they did give me a metal fork and spoon. Lastly, I was seated at the table right by the kitchen, and instead of walking the five steps needed to approach my table,the server only stepped 1 foot out of the kitchen to reach my table, stretched her arm, and slid my tray onto my table as though this were a very big inconvenience for her. For a $5 breakfast sandwich, you'd think there would be more than one egg and one slice of bacon. I've ordered from this Panera several times, and have eaten here twice. I usually order on my phone and pick up through the rapid pick-up feature. I really like using this service! It's great for when I'm on the go or want to grab something quick at work. I really like the steak & white cheddar panini. The horseradish sauce is delish. Can also never go wrong with the mac & cheese. There is not a lot of seating inside, but remember, it is a Panera "to-go"; it's supposed to be this way! Occasionally, I've gotten orders that have been incorrect (onions when I've asked for none), so I would recommend checking your order before you leave. That would be my reasoning for the 3-star rating. However, the staff is very nice and will fix any mistakes if you bring it to their attention. read more

As Panera bread places go this one is the worst. Normally this place is a solid 4 stars. I came here instead of Starbucks to get a well prepared and tasty breakfast w/ a plain coffee. The avocado egg white spinach sandwich is actually quite good. This location forgot to add the spinach. With 10 workers in the back they seem fully staffed to handle corporate accounts and the only 2 people in their restaurant but they weren't. Obviously I'm not rating the place 1 star because they forgot the spinach, they would actually still receive a 4 star, but the place is absolutely filthy. None of the tables are wiped off, and the coffee bar is a disgrace. Loose sugar everywhere and it looks like no one checks on it regularly. Lastly, the workforce here is really loud. No calm, relaxing breakfast before work here. Although it maybe a good thing the team here enjoys the company of their coworkers, the benefit of the camaraderie is not received by the costumer. This Panera is great. It may be that it is so close to my work, but I go here a few times a week and am so grateful for the location and setup. Basically, there are service kiosks and they will bring food out to you if you are eating there (not very many tables) or you can order to go and it they'll put it in one of the windows. Definitely caters towards the corporate offices nearby. I particularly like that you can order online and just go grab and pickup or they'll deliver. Panera saves me so much time on my lunch break. And, of course you know what you're getting. My favorite thing to order is the Thai Chicken Salad. It is amazing. Sometimes I will get the Tomato Mozzarella flatbread and Turkey Chili. You really can't go wrong. They have great pastries and their coffee is pretty good. The stripmall area this Panera is in is also very clean and convenient. Shoprite is across the street. There is a Wells Fargo and Chase bank right nearby, even a dentist. So happy I ventured in this direction and it makes my lunch breaks very productive and efficient. read more

So very disappointed with what is usually a great establishment. My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite and waited for more than 10 minutes for someone to come to the register to take our order. It was not crowded at all, so the food prep people shouldn't have had any trouble making a simple sandwich; however when my husbands order came out, it only had meat on one side or more simply said "half a sandwich on a whole baguette". I order from Panera Bread all the time. This is the only location that gets the orders wrong on a regular basis. If someone is ordering broccoli cheese soup- there is a good chance that person is looking to avoid meat. Well, they gave me chicken soup instead. Vegetarians beware!!! Lots of people choose to not eat meat- they don't care. It gets worse though, when I called to speak with the manager about the meat issue- she was completely apathetic to the fact that I didn't have anything to eat for dinner. The apathy turned quickly to sarcasm- she threw a 'trainee' under the bus for the error and her resolution was that she would send me a voucher in the mail. Doesn't help when you are looking to eat dinner in the moment after a stressful day. She couldn't even credit my app for the mistake. When I wanted her supervisor's name, she had the nerve to claim she didn't have one. So, we have a CEO that can't run a tiny site and doesn't care that people paid good money for a meal they can't eat....this employee is puffed up with conceit and needs serious training on how to treat people after she ruins someone's evening. We pay good money for the food- get it right and you won't have such a low overall score on Yelp. If you can't handle customers that are angry that you got the order wrong- be conscientious.
