Manager made one of her employees kick my service dog out, even after I said she was protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act laws, when there was absolutely no one else in the store read more

Not even one star. The order screens are disgusting with handprints the ground has gross footprints all over. Had to ask the lady to clean the table because all the tables were dirty and there were six vacant at the time. She cleans one and goes back to her chit chatting w her friends in the kitchen. She doesn't even clean the others. Just disgusting. read more

This location has mostly self service kiosks. There really isn't any interaction with anyone working here. They put your food on a shelf and call your name. I've been twice this week since I'm here for work and the first time they forgot my watermelon cup as my side. The second time was fine except because I had 1 extra salad dressing with my salad, you could tell the amount of actual salad was decreased. The small seating areas didn't look clean and the area around the sodas was a little dirty. Just ok. read more

Good for a quick panera bread fix. Convenient location, lot's of parking, but nothing special really...

Salad order missed the mark but made up quickly good management and attentive and quick service. Thank you.

2nd time I've been to this location and they have no bread. It's the middle of the day and they have 2 selections of bread. Drive 15 min to this location for nothing. Very unhappy. read more

Grateful that you're still serving. But I can't help write a review on the terrible quality of the order we received. I ordered a chipotle avocado melt and there was no chicken. My mom got a frontega chicken and there was one or two pieces of dry chicken and that too had fallen outside of the sandwich. It was soggy and didn't even have cheese. People could choose anywhere to have a great meal and we rely on you to provide us with what we pay for. Completely turned off. read more

This Panera is a really great addition to our area to give us all a healthier lunch option than the usual pizzerias and delis we often visit. The "to go" concept here makes it really easy to get your meal quickly and efficiently. You can order at one of the many touch screens in the store and wait for your order to be placed on the shelf for pickup or you can make it even easier and download the Panera app so that you can place your order ahead of time, pay and then just stop in the store to pick up from the shelf. My office has used the delivery service a few times too when it's to hard to get out of the office and that has been great. Docked one star because there have been a few mistakes with orders but just make sure to check your bag before you leave and they are happy to fix anything. read more

I ordered you pick two and they gave me half bread which seems someone ate it already. I am so so disappointed. I work in afternoon shift and this is the closest location I have from my work. I will never ever go to this place again even if I have drive 10 more miles. read more

Panera Bread - I ordered you pick two and they gave me half bread which seems someone ate it already. I am so so disappointed. - Sandwiches Near Me - Space, New Jersey

When the waitress told me, "you can microwave your bacon over there," I knew customer service wasn't added into the price. I ordered a bacon, egg brioche sandwich and so did my colleague, but didn't receive bacon in either sandwich. That's ok. Accidents happen. So, I asked a waitress and she said she'll bring it out. She brought both portions in a to-go soup cup. Not even separated, but all lumped together. I then went to get my portion but it was cold. I told the waitress the bacon was cold and she directed me to the microwave. No apologies. No refunds. No customer service. Just a microwave. read more

I absolutely love Panera Bread!!!!!! And dessert! Delivered this morning!! I'm ordering Salad from Panera later! Yummy!!!!!

I love panera and am happy they opened one in our neighborhood, but they consistently get our order wrong. This morning I ordered a breakfast sandwich with ham, egg, and cheese, and they left off the ham. I never discover their mistakes until it's too late - I'm already home. This is concerning considering I have food allergies. Based on other yelpers reviews, it looks like I'm not the only one having this problem. read more

This is the only Panera close to me so I give it multiple chances and they just disappoint every time. This Panera is one of the slowest locations. Customer service is meh to non existent. And they are ALWAYS out of French baguettes no matter what time I come in. This has happened over 10 times already. The only plus is the location is clean. read more

Most likely they'll not get your order right. They usually forget some or all the ingredients

Worst Panera I've ever been too. Terrible and slow service. I waited forever because I wanted to pay with cash before finally deCiding to just use my card. They ran out of plates at lunch time. Then there was no tables when my food was ready so my order was offered to go?! Terrible. No haste at all. Will never come back to this location. read more

Customer service sucks from manager down to staff. Ordered online for pick-up on specific time but there's no breakfast item to be seen at the time of pick-up. Staff and manager gave some bullshit reasoning instead of admitting and apologizing to their mistakes. read more

They are awful to their employees (no incentive or any compensation for the entirety of COVID-19 is just the start) and the food is beyond bland that feel I can actually taste the micro-plastics. To top it all off, customers (vaccinated or NOT) may go in as they please, maskless and unknowingly or knowingly putting not only the customers but staff at risk as well. I pity the food service workers at this location and by the graceful hands of God, the protect soul that dines at such an unclean establishment. read more

This is the worse Panera I have been to in the central and upper New Jersey area. Food preparation isn't as I have received at 4 other Panera establishments here. I will wait and go to others in the future. Bread on brioche looks to have been flattened. Sandwich was dry and drink was like drinking hot chocolate, instead of a chocolate latte. Never this one again. read more

If you get food to go, check your order! Last Friday my pasta Alfredo was dried up, a spoonful of sauce and about an ounce of chicken. My bfs salad was half the size he normally gets, and they skimped on the avocado and forgot the bacon. I think it's because it was close to closing time. Unfortunately you don't notice these things until you're already home and starving. Update--again, last night, same salad, and this time they forgot the avocado!! I tried calling the location to tell them...because 1 time is forgiveable. But twice needs to be brought to their attention. But nobody answered the phone, after two attempts. I also tried calling HQ, and hung up after being in hold for ten minutes. Gonna take a break from this place for awhile... read more

Improved since my last visit. Now has about 12 small tables. Food is fine, standard Panara menu. Use the app & order beforehand, saves time.

They literally have screwed up our order every single time when we have it delivered. Food is good and tasty. Last time I ordered a chicken salad and they forgot to put the chicken in it. So while the food is good check your orders! And yes they did fix it and have whatever they messed up re-delivered read more

They NEVER have anything in stock. So disappointed. The other day, they were completely out of every single type of bread, croutons, fruit cups, etc. very disappointed. read more

This is strictly about the manager on duty. The food was fine. I've been to many Panera Bread restaurants and never have I been so embarrassed or felt pit for the employees. The woman manager on duty did nothing but berate, argue with and belittle her employees in the open the entire time I was there. She was so loud that you can hear her from all sides of the restaurant. I'm surprised anyone would work her for her. read more

Place is clean and people are nice BUT they have a lot to learn. My $10 sandwich was drenched with an unknown substance, the soup was ALL water and the screwed my side order. In addition, my wife's bread bowl was cold... Never going back! read more

The place is clean, and has easy to use self-order kiosks. Service is prompt. This is a run of the mill Panera. Nothing special, but nothing bad. read more

I love panera bread but they definitely need to work on a few things..... customer service is one. One time I received really stale croutons on my salad, it was also more than normal. That definitely turned me off on my salad that time. They need to work on consistency with the food, the since of my baguette is never the same and sometimes the bread is hollow.... they bread tastes so good, but they lack HUGE in being consistent. The last time I was there I asked for the bread as the side, and then gave me a multigrain roll without asking me. It was disgusting. Although, they do have my favorite salad dressing and I highly recommend their balsamic dressing. will I go back? Yes but I have a lot ofcomplaints. The food most of the time is good though. read more

I used to order breakfast and lunch from this location a couple of days a week as it was on my way to work. I was always satisfied with the device and my order was usually prepared correctly. On the few occasions there was a mistake it was quickly corrected. More recently I've frequented the stores in Edison, both at the Mall and the freestanding across the street. I've been disappointed at both as it their salad portion is what you would expect for a half salad. This may be a corporate change as I was disappointed with my order from the Somerset location today. I ordered the strawberry poppyseed salad. It used to be chick full of chicken. Today's order had only a few small pieces of chicken. The salad did fill more than half the box but it still was not full as it used to be. Also the baguette that is included has shrunk from maybe a sixth of a baguette to a sixteenth. The menu calls it out as 180 calories. This was closer to 45. This may have been my last visit to any Panera location. It's just not worth the price. read more

food is ok and I've never had any issues with an order made incorrectly, however... on Thursday the 6th you had an employee loudly blowing his nose on the floor, it was disgusting. But even more disgusting is that he didn't wash his hands and proceeded to touch things around the coffee machines and soda machines. Then he did it again ! Come on... This is the flu season, etc and there shouldn't be employees who interact with the public / food and who don't have the basic common sense of health safety measures. read more

Since I travel frequently I always stop at Panera at least once a trip this has to be one of the worst I have ever been at service was horrible I waited for a simple bagel and egg sandwich a half an hour and I watched long lines of people wait for service. read more

This location has gotten better over time, but they still make a couple of minor mistakes every now and again. I order primarily through the app and I'd say 75% of my orders have some level of customization which they have yet to get wrong. But when they have a tendency to forget the sides. Staff is always friendly when I visit though and if I catch the error before leaving they make it right read more

Horrible delivery service and the drivers are nasty. Three times now my order has been extremely late or wrong.

The app wouldn't let me give a half star. My colleague ordered lunch for the two of us today. She placed the order at 10:15 for an 11:15 delivery. This Panera is 2.3 miles down the same street from us. The same street!! A straight line! We called at 11:25 and was told that the driver could not find the address, so he returned to the store, but they would try again if we wanted them to. Whaaat? Yes please. At 12:07 we called again and was told they could not find the order and they would remake and send, but all the slips are time stamped 11:00. Needless to say, we received our order at 12:30, over 2 hours from our ordering. Our money is promised to be refunded, but aside from the food's arrival, well past our lunch, the food itself was inedible. My friend's Mediterranean sandwich had no cheese or pesto. My salad, aside from not being in the usual 2 in 1 box resembled something that was assembled from garbage scraps. Well, that's it for this Panera, We certainly hope this doesn't reflect a decline of all of them. What a way to start a weekend. read more

Panera Bread - Sandwiches Near Me - Space, New Jersey

Ordered a chocolate brownie online for $2.5. They gave me an Apple!!! No apology, no note offering refund, nothing. ONE APPLE for 2.5 dollars!!! If you are out of something, I can understand that. But the least you can do is offer a refund or ask me what to do or if apple is all you have, at least give a few apples!!! DISAPPOINTED read more

I've ordered from here about a dozen times and they mess up my order probably a third of the time, this will definitely be the last time I give Panera any of my business. Multiple times in the past they've forgotten to put the chicken in my Thai Chicken Salad, sounds pretty self explanatory to make doesn't it? I really question the people making/double checking the orders here. Today they forgot half my order and gave me a bag of chips even though I paid extra to upgrade my side to a fruit cup. I would put most the blame on the managers because the employees are just kids that are bound to make mistakes unless management actually trains them properly and checks on them. Corporate really needs to take a look at their training and management hiring practices to ensure stores like this don't ruin their brand image to others as it has done for me read more

I mobile ordered my order it was supposed to be ready I. Ten to fifteen minutes I even gave them an additional ten minutes as it was the lunch rush. I arrived approx five minutes after and still was not ready I only ordered two item. My name was no longer even on either screen so I asked where my order was since it was not on the shelf. While they did give me a complimentary cookie it did not change the fact I was now late to my appointment. 25 minutes waiting that is ridiculous. You serve food you should be equipped to handle the lunch rush. read more

The food was good and the cashier was nice. But $6.19 for a half a turkey sandwich? Nearly $9 by the time I added chips and a drink? Too pricey for a daily lunch, this is more of a treat youself deal. But then it's not really nice enough to consider a treat. Touch screen ordering, which I hate. First, who wants to touch display screens a thousand other people have touched, then eat a sandwich with your hands? Second, stop finding ways to not employ people. (Here's part of the deal to run a business in my view: unless you're a mom and pop shop, give back to the community by employing workers. Pay a living wage. Boycott self-service!) Anyway, when your order is ready, they call your name and leave your food sitting on a shelf. No one hands it to you, no one makes sure you've got the right order. No one makes sure nobody else takes your food, or that you don't take someone else's. Also, very little seating provided at this Panera. I guess they want to be strictly pick-up and delivery. A couple of high top counters with chairs line the windows, and exactly one booth. One booth, at which the manager was seated, conducting interviews. Outside there are 4 tables with umbrellas, weather permitting. Im not sure they are even Panera's; might belong to the shopping center. With the price of this food, they could certainly provide some more seating. I guess the goal here is to cut costs wherever possible. Makes me wonder what cost cutting is going on in the kitchen. And the cost cutting is not reflected in the prices. Lastly, they have a pretty interesting soundtrack playing as I sit here eating and writing. No popular music, instrumental only. Unusual. I guess I would call this a retro jazz/house fusion. Good beats, lots of subtle horns and woodwinds as opposed to rock guitars. I like it, but some people might think it's elevator music. It's very different. Ew. And now some really annoying easy listening reggae tune came on. There's a singer singing the same line over and over and over. Extremely annoying. I take it all back. read more

I spent five minutes trying to place my order on an order screen. It would not read my gift card. Then they called mine up to the counter and tried ten times- two people - to swipe the card. Finally the second person entered the number manually and it went through. As for my order - disastrous!!!!! Ordered a half chicken salad sandwich, tomato soup, chips, Pepsi and a lemon cookie. I grabbed my bag - after a 15 MINUTE WAIT!!!!! - and ran out because my dog was in the car. Opened the bag at home and found: no Pepsi, a "half chicken salad sandwich which fit neatly into the tomato soup container with no effort - less than 4 inches in diameter. It had about a tablespoon of chicken salad at most, along with two huge tomato slices, two huge lettuce slices that the tiny bread slices did not cover. Couldn't eve taste the chicken salad because there was so little. At least twelve people waiting inside and more outside for their orders to be filled. Never been in a Panera's like this. Too bad! read more

Nice courteous service and they were not out of cinnamon crunch bagels at 2pm-very important to me!

I was visiting from out of state and wanting Panera. Usually when I walk in to a Panera, there is a line. I saw tablets where I could place my order. The manager Victor offered to take my order. I ordered something from the pick 2. He suggested the Chicken Fuji Apple Salad. I tried it and it was delicious! I was impressed with the customer service I received. The place was clean and quiet. I also noticed that they deliver. I will be visiting this location again when I come back in 2 weeks! read more

I normally love this panera bread except for the slowness. I place my orders on my phone and set it to a specific time to be ready and it is usually never ready. Today I ordered my usual. The sandwich was a mess and I paid for extra bread and didn't get it! But whoever was "checking" the bags marked it was in there. I'm very disappointed with this visit. Hopefully next time I go they are more organized and actually look through the bags thoroughly. read more
