The food was good but the service was OUTSTANDING! We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation and were seated right away. Our server was so friendly and helpful, I only wish I remembered her name. Honestly, everyone working there was amazing as they were all so friendly, and checking in on us without hovering or being pushy. They made sure we knew about their awesome happy hours deals for our next visit and even held the doors open for us when we left. The food itself was great. We started with the zucchini fries with ranch which are delicious and highly recommended. My husband had the Chuck Norris burger which was the special of the day. I had the friend chicken sandwich. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Their iced tea is fantastic if you are not pairing your burger with a glass of wine. This a build your own burger bar so you can have your burger exactly how you want. It also means sides come separately. My wife and I dined there last night and really enjoyed our night out--we were hungry and it was getting late. So, after batting around a few places that were near by, we decided to head over to Zinburger--knowing we'd get a good meal and that the atmosphere would be nice--although every time we go, we know its going to be like Sweden where we're going to be the least attractive people in the place. ha. The restaurant was quite busy on a Friday night and they took our place accordingly. The hostess quoted an accurate time and we were notified of our ready table via text. The interior is quite classy, and I was almost embarrassed to be wearing workout leggings. Most people were wearing dressy casual clothing. Once seated our waiter met us immediately. We put our drink and appetizer orders in, but it took almost 15 minutes for him to return to take our entree orders. To his credit it was a crowded night. I ordered the eponymous Zinburger which was a thick patty topped with manchego cheese, caramelized onions, and lettuce. We also had the zucchini fries. The bun was buttery and toasted, and even though the juices of the meat and caramelized onions were seeping through, I could still feel the crunch of the bread. The burger was very thick and savory. The cheese was a bit too mild for my liking. Overall, a good and fulfilling meal! Zinburger has a nice vibe and the service is almost always fast and friendly! They also have good seating options if you'd prefer to dine outdoors. Their burgers are priced reasonably well for a casual restaurant ($9-15) and they also have a good selection of fries you can add on as well which are good sides to split between two people. My favorite are the truffle fries which come with a really tasty aioli sauce on the side. I will say the burgers are almost always undercooked which isn't the worst thing if you just adjust your order to be on the safe side. read more

This has become our go-to place for a burger and fries. We're originally from New Jersey and used to love the one in Clifton, so it's nice to have a bit of home and find out Tucson is where Zinburger started. I always get their turkey burger. It is flavorful and a generous size and their pickles are delicious! Hubby likes their steak burger or their buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. Their fries are GREAT and we always ask for them a bit extra crispy so they are perfect to our tastes. We also like to start with their zucchini fries. Happy hour gets your amazing prices on the burgers and the chicken sandwich, and the chocolate cream pie! The pie serving can easily be shared by two to four people. Their happy hour cocktails are wonderful, too. Personally, I love the ruby red guava lemonade and the pom & passionfruit margarita. The other thing we love about heading over to Zinburger is the choice of the front or rear patios and being able to bring our little fur baby with us. I truly believe Zinburger has one of the best burgers in Tucson and you can't beat their Happy Hour! The $6 Zini Burgers are the same size as their diner burger which is always plenty for me. It's nice that they have 4 burger options and a chicken option on Happy Hour. I also really like the smaller portion of fries for $4 because with a full order if I'm not splitting I typically have too many left over, plus with sweet potato fries, regular fries, and onion rings you can choose what you want or mix and match with others in your party.
