Visited around 2pm today, and very much to our surprise it was quiet with only a handful of tables seated. We were very well greeted by the hostess who asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside and we joked with her because it was 102 degrees outside. She was very pleasant! Soon after being seated we were greeted by our waitress. She took our drink order and brought them out quickly. She was really patient with us while we tried to decide on our orders. We ordered the Blanco Burger, medium cooked and the Bruce Lee, medium cooked as well. Also, we ordered three sides: regular fries, sweet potato fries and zucchini fries. Our orders didn't take much time to be cooked and served to us! The Blanco burger was cooked to medium as asked (a little pink inside) This burger comes with pepper jack cheese, guacamole, pico de Gallo, lettuce and chipotle mayo. It was delicious and so flavorful. The guacamole added a nice sweet/spice taste that complemented the savory meat patty! The Bruce Lee was medium cooked as well (a little pink in the middle) The toppings on this are Asian BBQ sauce, avocado, jalapeño, cabbage slaw, cucumber, rice wine vinaigrette and siracha mayo. All of the toppings complimented this burger very well, you have the crunch from the slaw and cucumber, the spice of the jalapeño and sweet of the Asian BBQ sauce. It's a variety of flavors and textures that make this burger so tasty!! This was our first time trying zucchini fries and they're good! They're just battered zucchini. They had a nice crunch to them. French fries were a little more brown than golden but still tasted great! The sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection. Our waitress was awesome! Great customer service, very attentive and made sure our glasses were always filled. I must say I was very impressed with the burger patties being cooked to perfection! Their unique toppings all meshed well together, bringing so much flavor to the burgers. Definitely recommend this place and will be returning real soon to try their other burgers!! read more

We wanted to try a new spot and the food sounded really good. We both got burgers and they were both pretty good. Granted the portion sizes seem really small for their prices. The food just didn't seem worth the price. read more

I tried the Bruce Lee Burger and zucchini fries. The sauce for the burger was savory. The rest was okay in flavor. Service was nice. I was expecting the food taste to be as upscale as the decor. read more

This place did not blow me away. My burger was very wet and for no reason making it hard to eat.

I have been to the location on multiple occasions and I am always impressed. The food is beyond delicious, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and zucchini fries!!! The atmosphere is really interesting and definitely has a local feel as opposed to many other restaurants in town. The wine selection is amazing as well. I appreciate that even though they do have wine as a staple of their business the restaurant still has a family friendly vibe. Years back I remember being pregnant and not being able to drink so I tried a milkshake instead. So good! I have been here as handful of times, including for a birthday party, and I will for sure be back in the future. read more

I love this place. I mean when it is served correctly their burgers rock, their salads are the bomb. Sadly, the past 4 or 5 visits our food is served cold, or burgers are soggy and slightly warm and we wait sometimes yo to 25-30 minutes to get a cold soggy burger. It is sad because their food really is wonderful but this past 5 or 6 months it is not so good. I will keep trying I beleive the one at Grant and Kolb seems to be serving up warmer burgers and quicker service, but it should not take 30 minutes to get a soggy burger. Try your luck because when they are on, they are so yummy! read more

We have frequented Zinburger several times over the past few months and finally had a chance to submit an updated review. There were 8 people in our group and we called ahead for reservations early in the week. Our group sat on the patio and the evening started out just fine with our server taking the drink orders and then our main courses. Burgers were good along with those fantastic zucchini fries! As the evening went on, the service degraded significantly. Seems like every time we needed something, the "attitude" was terrible - ordered more ice, slammed down on the table - an order of sweet potato fries ordered but didn't show up, finally showed up, "thrown" onto the table spilling sauce all over the fries. Zinburger has always been one of our favorite goto burger places, but ratings have gone from 5 to 4 to now 3 - I guess we'll have to rethink our "goto burger joint" - too bad! read more

Zinburger has become our favorite place to go for a "date night," except we bring the bambino with. It's our date night before 6pm! Ha! The service here has been wonderful the past three Wednesdays that we have been. Yes, it has become our go-to Wednesday night outing! My lovey gets a beer (he is faithful to the fresh-squeezed ipa) while I stick with a Sauvignon Blanc. These just happen to be half-off until 6pm! $4 for a glass of wine? Yes, please. Our staple meal has become the green chili cheese fries and the Zinburger. Our little one loves the mac&cheese (also half off during HH). I also have a love of their shakes... This is a rare indulgence but oh.my.my.my they are INCREDIBLE! Thank you Zinburger for giving us a family friendly restaurant to enjoy a perfectly cooked burger! read more

Very busy tonight and super slow. Our food took forever to come out. Normally the fries come out piping hot. Not tonight. The entrees did not come out all together. Mine took so long nearly everyone else in my party was done eating. None of our requests occurred - asking for stuff boxed up ahead - nope. Asking for box - never arrived. I'm guessing it was just too busy tonight for their staff. The food and service is normally superb and no doubt it will be wonderful the next time we return. read more

Very good burger place. While looking for a good dinner place that was not too far from me I found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. I did not know that they were a chain when I got there and was actually impressed by the ambiance, being trendy and all with string lights outside. I liked the bar seating as it was half outside and half in. I ordered the namesake zinburger and got the Kobe beef upgrade. I asked for it to be medium done, and the beef was so flavorful and juicy that I completely loved it. Once I started eating it I did not stop, it was that good. The braised onions were just the icing on the cake. I will order this again in a heartbeat. read more

Well it all started with the greeter opening the front door for us ( at a burger bar?) then we were seated promptly (at a burger bar?) then the server came over with a great attitude! (At a burger bar?). We ordered and the food came, fresh and tastety and yes we were at a burger bar! So bottom line is Zinburger serves up fresh and tastety burgers, different kinds of fries and salads and sandwiches with wine, beer, shakes and the like. So give em a try, you won't be disappointed. So the burgers are delicious and usually everything is great but my wife got her burger which was over cooked cool and soggy and my sons rootbeer float took like a good 20/25 minutes to come out. Our waitress was wonderfully nice but you could definitely tell she was very busy and unfortunately I do feel when someone is paying that much for a burger and fries that it really shouldn't at least not by the service that is being given. Will try again but going to wait a while first read more

I like this place. Don't let yourself be deprived of the zucchini fries! The seared ahi is consistently good...well, maybe not that good but it calls my name! I have been here a few times and each time seems a little better than the last. The service is consistently friendly and courteous though sometimes not attentive as it should be. Not that big of a deal but a pet peeve of mine is not having a beverage over the course of most of a meal. Again, this is hit and miss. My encounter today was pleasant as I arrived shortly after they opened. I was greeted promptly and seated quickly. I'm a little disappointed at the beer list as i looked it over waiting for service. I supposed an 11am beer isn't all that important anyway but still, the selection could be better. My server was fantastic today. She was right on spot with everything as well as cheerful and pleasant. (Tatiana). The service was great from start to finish. I typically order the seared ahi salad which I did today as well. It was served correctly, something which in the past I've had the most issues with at Zin Burger. I later inquired about adding an additional portion of seared ahi which is available for $6. I ordered it and it looked great but was very-much over-salted; probably 3x the salt from what I was served on my salad. I scraped some of it off and ate it. Sadly, it just wasn't enjoyable. This is the type of thing that I've experienced in the past as far as inconsistency. My salad today had 3 bits of avocado and swimming in cashews. Most times there are few cashews and more avocado. I appreciate, especially when I order the same thing every time, that I know I'm going to get the same thing every time. 4-stars; maybe 3.75 stars. I like the place. I'll always go back. read more

Zinburger had so much promise. How can you go wrong with a wine and burger bar? I've never heard of such a thing, but as a fan of both I was excited to try it. I came here on a Thursday evening after a long day of hiking. My boyfriend and I were ravenous and ready to annihilate a couple burgers. For starters we had the kale caesar salad, which was insanely bitter! Nothing in the ingredients list mentioned vinegar of any sort (tuscan kale, herb bread crumbs, pecorino cheese & caesar dressing). So either the kitchen made it wrong or they have a very strange recipe for caesar dressing. For burgers, I ordered the Plain and Simple, cooked medium. The first bite I took was pretty good, but as I got further into it, I realized the meat was actually rare inside (check out my pic in their photos section). Gross! It's one thing to overcook meat, but under cooking is not okay. My bf ordered the Ringer, medium rare. His meat came out about right, erring on the side of medium. Maybe the server mixed up our preferences? Either way, the whole meal grossed me out and I won't be coming back. read more

While looking for a great burger place for dinner with friends, we decided to head over to Zinburger on a Saturday night. There was some initial confusion regarding reservations- It was our understanding that they do not take reservations (after inquiring on our last visit). But apparently, reservations are allowed for groups of 7+. Since we were a group of 8 this time, we were disappointed about the miscommunication. Luck turned out to be on our side, though... a large party had just left and the hostess was able to quickly seat us within 15 minutes (instead of the 30-40 minute wait we were quoted). Awesome! The burgers here come a la carte, and we decided to split 2 baskets of fries among the 6 adults. This ended up working perfectly because the burger was quite filling by itself, and we still had room for dessert at the end. My Boy Blue Burger: A great option, if you're a blue cheese fan. Tip: Ask for the sauce on the side so the flavor isn't too overwhelming. The Ringer Burger: Comes with bacon as well as onion rings, which make for a nice and crunchy burger. Tip: Ask for the onion rings on the side to preserve crunchiness. The Zinburger: Perfect, especially with the braised onions. This one is my favorite. All the burgers we had were delicious and high quality. One thing I would make sure to follow up with, however, are the sauces we asked for on the side. Since it was a busy night, I'm sure the request was simply lost in the shuffle, but it would have been nice to have the BBQ sauce, ketchup, and mayo we requested at the beginning of our meal to dip our fries and burgers in. Not a big concern in the grand scheme of things, though. Sides & Shakes: The zucchini fries were way too oily and soggy on our last visit, so this time we went with sweet potato fries, which were good. For dessert, the shakes we tried were salted caramel, nutella, and cookies and cream. Even better, they let you share and split it in two, with the option of whipped cream or no whipped cream. Yum! If you plan on ordering an entree, sides, and dessert, this place can be a little pricey- Thus, if you are a Costco member, I suggest checking out their restaurant gift card options. We planned ahead and were able to save 20% from purchasing in bulk. Overall, great food and a fun atmosphere. read more

Ordered delivery with two farm salads. We have always loved this dish. Well things have certainly changed. First off they sent about a half ounce of dressing for a full salad. Next, they basically made a salad with mostly cabbage. Supposed to have avocado, quinoa etc. that was sparse. Bottom line, it was so disappointing. Sad this happened and the restaurant isn't up to standard. read more

Love Zinburger! It's the first time I've been to this location. Didn't know there was one on the eastside of town! Wow it was packed. Parking lot was a little full, but there's an empty dirt lot next to the parking lot if you can't find a space. What a very popular place! Was here for a Junior League event in the early evening hour around 6pm, and the server was very friendly and accommodating. We had our own area, on the west side of the restaurant. My only complaint was that it was a little warm. They did turn up the air though, but it took a while to cool down. Once it cooled down though it was nice and comfortable. I wasn't very hungry, but I could not leave without having their truffle aioli fries! OMG! Loved it! You must have some when you come. I also had a few of my friend's zucchini fries that were super yummy too! They have a good selection of wines and beer as well. I had a glass of their Reisling which was nice and refreshing. My fellow colleagues raved about the pomegranate margarita! Maybe I'll try that next time around. =) Happy hour prices were 1/2 off all beer & wine, and appetizers too! Good deal, huh? All in all, it was a nice time. The place is very spacious, and the servers & hostesses are very friendly! read more

How have I not written a review for Zinburger yet?! I've been slacking! This is one of my long-time favorite spots. They have one of the best veggie burgers in town. There was a very sad, luckily brief, time where the veggie burger was removed from the menu. I raised a bit of a stink about that so I'll go ahead a take credit for it being added back to the menu Always friendly service! Always accurate orders. Addicting aioli fries. I share with my dad every time so I can get the veggie burger, fries and a chocolate malt shake - in other words, the portions are huge. Hmm I'm hungry as I read this ha! read more

Just had lunch at Zinburger on Grant in Tucson. Staff were as usual awesome! I had the Burger of the month which was incredible! Crispy Colorado Lamb with a feta, pickled onion relish... unbelievably good. Skip the bun, it takes away from the flavor. Also, need to add, staff still wearing masks and taking covid seriously. Thanks for that. read more

Service was both great and not great. Our server was energetic and happy! She was great. But it took forever to get our food. (Hence docking a star.) BUT...the food was worth waiting for! (Though I wish I didn't have to wait for it so long.) So on to the food... IT WAS GREAT! I had the Kobe burger, medium well, but it came out well. So did my friends' "medium well" burgers. They all came out well. But...oh WELL. They were still great. Juicy. Not greasy. Flavorful. Cheesy. I loved the mushroom balance of flavor on my burger. The bun is outrageously good, but not dense. The truffle fries with aoili sauce was great. One order feeds two or three. I also like their sweet potato fries. I also had the Zin Bar shake. Chocolate ice cream with I don't know what else in it. But it came out before the burger as requested. It was gone before the burger came as digested. Bit disappointed that they no longer come with leftover shake. This place ain't cheap. $10 for the "basic" Zinburger. (Is anything "basic" here?) $11, $12, $13 for other burgers, chicken sandwiches, and ahi sandwiches...$15 for the Kobe. $5 for the shake. $6 for the fries. Spent a chunk of change for lunch today. But man, it was GOOOOOOOD. Highly satisfying. Hit the spot. Left with my palate and tummy going "yummy," "yummy." Five stars if there was faster service. read more

I feel very up in the air about Zinburger. I've eaten at multiple locations, during and pre-COVID, at busy times and during slow afternoons, and have had really variable experiences over the years. The last few times I've gone, which have all been at the Grant Road location, I've been met with friendly servers, stiff drinks, extremely slow kitchen service, and burgers that literally take a full minute to finish dripping with oil or whatever sauce they cooked in, once I pick them up. I'm not against a messy burger, but that's pretty problematic in terms of kitchen quality. By the time the plate hits the table, the buns are completely soaked and it becomes too difficult to even eat. I have tried to send food back for these issues before, but have encountered the same problem upon the food's return. So, eat at your own risk, especially if you're wearing anything white, and be prepared to wait a while. read more

This is a beautiful location, and the service was nice and quick! I've tried multiple items on the Zinburger menu, however some have been inconsistent for me. I love their regular fries and their truffle fries, but their zucchini fries were too greasy and too heavily breaded. I had one and didn't want anymore, and I usually love zucchini! I've also tried their Bruce Lee burger which was alright, it was a little too spicy and the flavor combinations were odd to me. However, the turkey burger and wagyu burger were both delicious! I just wish they had a discounted smaller side of fries that you could add on to your burger. I thought some of their burgers were a little pricey especially since they came alone with no sides! Their garden salad is also popular here, but I didn't enjoy the raw carrots. The dressing was very good though, and the feta was a perfect touch! read more

We tried out this location a few days ago, and loved that it was bigger and more spacious than the original Tucson location. We were seated fast, greeted by our server quickly, and had drinks quickly. Our drinks were never empty. The staff worked as a team to make sure the service was as good as possible, which is highly appreciated by us. The truffle fries were good as usual, as were the burgers. I love being able to personalize the burger exactly how I like it, thanks to their plentiful topping options. My only gripe is that the food comes out far too fast. We like a more casual pace, especially when paying higher prices. I want to enjoy my appetizer and have a few minutes after it before my meal comes out. The only way that happens here is if you delay ordering your meal until you're ready. It is nice to have a more upscale burger place on the eastside, finally! We will keep going back for sure! read more

We have been itching to eat here and we finally got in there this afternoon only for disappointment There are definitely good parts, great service, nice ambiance but the food was not worth the price tag Our burger was undercooked, sent back still not right but ate it anyway. The supervisor was very nice and offered to redo it but we declined. The chicken sandwich tasted like chorizo, which I love but not with my chicken. The fries were not included with the burger and was very small portions. And when the bill came we were surprised that the onion rings or fries weren't knocked off for the trouble. Sorry to say we probably wouldn't go back. read more

Never had a bad experience here! Food is always perfectly cooked and tastes just so good! Wee bit expensive but totally worth it!

The stars are for the happy hour drinks, atmosphere, cleanliness, and service. The minus 1 star is due to the portion size of fries for what you pay and the overall cost of their burgers.
