I have been here in the past approximately 3-4 times and each time is very good. The place has a lot of seating-this time I sat in the outdoor courtyard area. The service was very good (quick) and the waitress was very attentive. Burgers, wings, salad with added grilled chicken, pot pie-you cannot go wrong. The food was really good. And of course the brews were very good too. You have to realize, I was in the land "of God's nectar"-WINE! For me to attack anything that doesn't have a cork in it, is, well, usually is non-existent. When I go to Paso, I am usually there 3-4 days and no grape is safe. The 805 Blonde was great. Partnered well with the food that was ordered. There were several other IPA style beers at the table that were very good. Firestone Walker is there for a reason, a successful reason. Stop by on the way north or south-you will not be very glad you did.

Headed to their restaurant across the street afterwards. You must try the Tri-tip Sando! Added the cheddar cheese. So good! 6 Star Alert. 6 star Alert. 6 star Alert. 6 star Alert…read more SIX STAR ALERT. SIX STAR ALERT. That right people, I said it.... And 6 times to be exact! Because let me tell you, the Spice of Life in Downtown Paso Robles not only deserves those 6 stars, but they truly EARNED each & every star (plus a bonus star) that I am awarding them for their exceptional hospitality. Now, let me tell you why! While in Paso for my wife's weekend birthday getaway, we had such fun time casually strolling the streets with no where to be. While window shopping, going in and out of the various shops, and just meandering through the downtown area.... We suddenly came across a little business called: The Spice of Life From the outside, it was pretty obvious what we were about to get into... ----Spices----Herbs----Teas---- Hey, they had me at Spices, but the rest is what kept me from leaving there anytime soon. Upon entering this quaint little shop, we were immediately immersed into a world that I Love. Spices, Spices and more Spices!!! Yeah, I'm that guy that at home, not in public of course, that will put a little spice on my hand and lick it off (to test it of course). I know, but I'm just a spice freak, what can I say! Yeah, give me a good lemon pepper, a blended steak seasoning or even a Kansas City Bbq Rub and I'll gladly give it the "Lance Lick of Approval". Yeah, I'm a Spice Man, & I'm not afraid to admit it. And let me tell you, this place has got spices!! Yeah, there are Jars and Jars, & more Jars of the finest, most incredible spices you can dream of. But on Top of the Spices... There are Oils, Vinegars, Teas, Tea Accessories, Herbal Supplements, Books, and More! And with all that shopping... Why not grab a quick bite alongside a freshly brewed coffee or tea at their mini cafe right on the premises. Heck, we did! (We had the Vanilla Chai Tea Latte) And it was Fire! So what makes this place earn a well deserved 6 star review?? It wasn't just their great product. Or even their beautifully prepared drink. It was their hospitality, their graciousness, and the human connection that we felt that went above the typical customer vs. retailer interaction. The lady who assisted us (forgive me but I forget her name) but she might have been maybe the owner or maybe even manager of the place was so kind, helpful and made our experience exceptional, so thank you for that! With so many great gift ideas and things that we needed for our own household, you know we did some damage and got a few things to take back home. So.... If you are a fan of spices like me, love yourself some tea, are looking for some unique, fun gift ideas or just want to enjoy a nice, quaint shop where the service hopefully exceeds your expectations like it did for me... Then take my highly recommended suggestion and get over to the... Spice of Life in Downtown Paso Robles ASAP!!!

Rating: 12/10 Stars (I'm basically moving in)…read more Listen, we went into Finca Paso Robles expecting a meal, but I left wondering if I could legally change my address to their dinning room. This place is so aggressively cute that I spent the first ten minutes just blinking at the decor in a state of pure sensory overload. It's the kind of cozy that makes you want to wrap yourself in a blanket and take a nap right there on the tablecloth. Then there are the servers. I'm convinced they are actually angels sent from above to cure my cynicism. They were so incredibly nice that I actually felt bad for ordering food--like, "How dare I ask these wonderful humans to bring me a taco when they are already providing so much emotional support?" I walked in as a regular customer and left feeling like I'd been adopted by a very polite, very efficient family. The food was, of course, spectacular. The salsa was so good that I briefly considered licking the bowl, but the servers were so classy that I decided to maintain a shred of dignity. If you enjoy being pampered in a setting that looks like it was designed by a professional "coziness consultant," get yourself to Finco Paso Robles. Just be warned: you will leave feeling slightly judged by your own home's lack of charm.

Tortilla chips also tasted fresh and home made. * Grilled Salmon Taco special -- Nice fresh chunks of salmon with cabbage, red onions and crema on fresh corn tortillas. * Grilled Chicken Quesadilla -- Choice of flour or corn tortillas. We went with the corn tortillas. Chicken was good, but the quesadillas definitely tasted better with our side of guac. Looking forward to coming back to try the Baja Fish Tacos which appears to be one of their signature items.

My husband chose a black n blue burger slider and French brussel sprouts and I chose a Back to basics berry salad with pesto chicken on it. (They have recommended meats for each salad which was helpful). I really like the raspberry vinaigrette on my salad and the pesto chicken was tangy and delicious as well. My husband said his meal was the perfect amount as we were less hungry than usual after our brunch earlier. A bit louder than I prefer inside, but we could still talk and hear each other. The patio seating looked lovely but might've been a bit too warm, so overall I was pleased with our seats.

The dish was beautifully presented, featuring perfectly cooked rice noodles that were infused with a rich, savory sauce. The chicken was tender and flavorful, complemented by fresh vegetables that added a delightful crunch. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, making it one of the best pad Thai dishes I've ever had. In addition to the pad Thai, I ordered the pot chicken dumplings, also known as chicken stickers. These were equally impressive. The dumplings were steamed to perfection, with a soft, delicate wrapper that encased a juicy filling. Each dumpling was bursting with flavor, and the accompanying dipping sauce added just the right amount of zing. What truly elevated the experience was the service. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, which made my meal even better. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy authentic and delicious Thai cuisine. The combination of fantastic food and superb service made for a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to return and try more dishes!
