    Kimchi and pork stew
    Patty C.

The small food court in Super H mart exists as a nice trove of delectable restaurants. This is perfect for the hungry grocery shopper. Ziggle Ziggle is one of the newer establishments, and I hadn't given them a try yet. But I selected it one evening as my pre shopping dinner option. I ended up with the kimchi and pork stew, and I was so ready for deliciousness. Unfortunately it was a letdown. The pork was a mere scattering of bits and pieces of meat in the bottom of the bowl, probably not even an ounce of it. The broth was scant and not even halfway full. There was an abundance of napa cabbage kimchi, I'll give them that, but it came in thick slabs of it and not much else. Taste was okay. Banchan was okay. For the price, I was expecting a bit more.

Ziggle Ziggle can be found within the food court of H-mart. I tried their spicy noodle soup with bulgogi. I liked the texture of the noodles a lot... very bouncy and chewy! I also liked that there was a good amount of vegetables. However, the bulgogi was bland and tough. The soup was also pretty bland unfortunately. It was a shame because I felt that the broth had the potential to be really delicious with a little more seasoning whether it be salt or MSG. I would have to recommend the other restaurants in the food court for more authentic Korean food.

Not bad. I got the pork kimchi stew. Comes with white rice. Steamed broccoli, kimchi and some bean sprouts Kimchi... Eh. Could be better Steamed broccoli was awesome. My childhood relived. Not over steamed. Pepper sauce drizzle. Loved it. Bean sprouts were a nice change in pace from the soup. The soup was a bit too thick. But the flavor was nice. The kimchi inside the soup needs to be cut more. I had huge pieces. But good on them cooking with the big pieces then cutting them. Makes a difference. Pork pieces were nice and big. Still moist. Not dried out. Honestly the soup was very satisfying for those who need to have some korean soup to satisfy the craving. It had a "home cooked meal" feel and taste to it that you can't find at other places. Will be back for sure

I was at H-mart. Good thing was to eat very authentic K-food. There were 5 or 6 concession stands at the food court. I tried Bibimbap at Ziggle Ziggle. The prices were around $11. Not bad. I didn't have to pay tips. I felt like saving money. The bibimbap was so tasty. I also got kimchi, miso soup, and other veggies. I saw a raw egg on the rice. Probably, Japan and Korea are the only counties to put a raw egg on the rice. But the egg was baked in a hot bowl. Overall, I love the food. If you are in Hmart, please try very authentic K-food.

I believe this is as authentic that you can get. Great options. A bit pricey for the location, but I guess, we pay for the food. Very good!

After coming across their budae jigae (army stew) on their menu, I wanted to go all the way down to Memorial to give it a try since I am a huge fan of army stew and I wanna compare all the soups I have tried so far ever since I got more into Korean food this past year. The cashier was very nice and helpful when I asked her some questions about what is in the army stew since I don't care for specific ingredients like beans. After asking about the stew, I ordered it still but w/o beans and a toned down spice level. I was very surprised that my food came out pretty fast a few minutes after my order have been placed, and the cashier was also nice about getting condiments too! The army stew was very flavorful and the broth was surprisingly not spicy but still warm if the spice level is toned down upon request. Overall, the service and the food are great and this will be my new spot to order food in the food court inside the H-Mart Memorial location! :)

First time trying their veggie tofu soup and that was a very good decision. There are a few vegetarian options and those are good! They came within 5 mins and fast and good service! Definitely try it and you enjoy it! Come visit and have a yummy time Cheers

Great soon du bu tofu pots to eat with rice. They are better and cleaner than the Jumma stall that is next to them. More sanitary and better food.

The food here is alright but I think it's more about the convenience that makes it worth it. Located inside the Hmart food court, this is just one of several options. The service is quick and wait time isn't too long (may depend on order). They have a $10 minimum to use credit card which is worth noting. They used Udon for the noodles which I wasn't expecting but still tasted pretty good. If you're shopping at Hmart and need something quick and easy, this is a fine choice.

The banchan really impressed me too. The kimchi had the perfect crunch and might be some of the best I've had. The fish cakes and scallions were also on point. The good was generally good (see below). The side dishes were a disappointment (especially the kimchi). We had: Broiled Spicy Beef Rib (Galbijim) - (5/5) - Very flavorful. Good quality beef with good mix of squash and vegetables. The sauce is very good. My wife had this dish better and said it was too spicy so we asked for it a bit milder. Even with this, it still had a kick. Very good dish. Tteokbokgi (spicy rice cakes) - (4/5) - Good version of this traditional Korean dish. Sauce was yummy, but a bit too watery. Bibimnangmyun (spicy noodles) - (2.5/5) - The miss of the night. The noodles had a weird aftertaste (kind of smelled a bit like paint to me). My wife said they did a poor job rinsing the noodles. I would not order this again. There are other things I want to try on the menu so will likely be back. I do wish the banchan (side dishes) were better.

It is sweet and a bit soupy from all the sauce. The noodles are chewy and bouncy, and get coated in the sauce nicely. There is a good amount of meat that comes with it too! The flavors are great. 2) Jaengbanjjajang: This is my go-to and personal favorite noodle dish to get here. It is similar to their original jjangmyeon except that it is less soupy and has a bit of spice. The spiciness adds a nice kick balancing the sweet and savory flavors. There are also lots of different mix ins like squid, shrimp, beef, and vegetables! The play on textures and contrasting flavors is why I love this dish 3) Spicy Chicken Wings (Yangnyeom): For not being a chicken wing restaurant, Paiks sure does serve some banger wings. Juicy big wings with a slight crisp on the outside. The sauce is amazing. It is that sweet and spicy yangnyeom korean fried chicken sauce. 4) Tangsuyuk: I never visit Paisk without ordering their tangsuyuk. Perfectly fried with a great chew. The pork is not too porky or gamey which is nice, and the sauce is a sticky sweet and sour sauce. 4) Gunmandoo: Their panfried dumplings are quite nice too! I haven't gotten them in a while, but they were solid Overall, I don't think there was a single dish I disliked here at Paiks. Service is standard, not too fast not too slow. The ambiance is not really one for dates or anything. It's super casual with metal chairs. It can get a bit cold. There are restrooms and water dispensers.
