I enjoyed a tasty tofu bulgogi soup and also sampled some of their bibimbap. I like that they give banchan with each meal, from bean sprouts to miso soup. This place is unique as they serve their sizzling dishes and boiling soups in a wood box which adds to the flair and provides some insulation. The tofu bulgogi soup was tasty, though I could have used some more actual bulgogi bits, and same can be said for the bibimbap. The bibimbap also had the benefit of having slightly charred rice at the bottom of the dish, which made it even yummier. Service was prompt, and on a Friday evening, the dining area had ample seating. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick Korean food fix in H-Mart! read more

The small food court in Super H mart exists as a nice trove of delectable restaurants. This is perfect for the hungry grocery shopper. Ziggle Ziggle is one of the newer establishments, and I hadn't given them a try yet. But I selected it one evening as my pre shopping dinner option. I ended up with the kimchi and pork stew, and I was so ready for deliciousness. Unfortunately it was a letdown. The pork was a mere scattering of bits and pieces of meat in the bottom of the bowl, probably not even an ounce of it. The broth was scant and not even halfway full. There was an abundance of napa cabbage kimchi, I'll give them that, but it came in thick slabs of it and not much else. Taste was okay. Banchan was okay. Ziggle Ziggle can be found within the food court of H-mart. I tried their spicy noodle soup with bulgogi. I liked the texture of the noodles a lot... very bouncy and chewy! I also liked that there was a good amount of vegetables. However, the bulgogi was bland and tough. The soup was also pretty bland unfortunately. It was a shame because I felt that the broth had the potential to be really delicious with a little more seasoning whether it be salt or MSG. I would have to recommend the other restaurants in the food court for more authentic Korean food. read more

Not bad. I got the pork kimchi stew. Comes with white rice. Steamed broccoli, kimchi and some bean sprouts Kimchi... Eh. Could be better Steamed broccoli was awesome. My childhood relived. Not over steamed. Pepper sauce drizzle. Loved it. Bean sprouts were a nice change in pace from the soup. The soup was a bit too thick. But the flavor was nice. The kimchi inside the soup needs to be cut more. I had huge pieces. But good on them cooking with the big pieces then cutting them. Makes a difference. Pork pieces were nice and big. Still moist. Not dried out. Honestly the soup was very satisfying for those who need to have some korean soup to satisfy the craving. It had a "home cooked meal" feel and taste to it that you can't find at other places. Will be back for sure read more

I was at H-mart. Good thing was to eat very authentic K-food. There were 5 or 6 concession stands at the food court. I tried Bibimbap at Ziggle Ziggle. The prices were around $11. Not bad. I didn't have to pay tips. I felt like saving money. The bibimbap was so tasty. I also got kimchi, miso soup, and other veggies. I saw a raw egg on the rice. Probably, Japan and Korea are the only counties to put a raw egg on the rice. But the egg was baked in a hot bowl. Overall, I love the food. I waited an hour for my order which ended up being woefully underwhelming. People who ordered after me received their food and finished before I even got my order. Unfortunately, the staff was not very helpful. They refused to provide an ETA for my order nor explain why it was taking so long even after I checked with them twice. They brushed me off and told me they were too busy. When I finally received my order, it was so unacceptable that I asked for a refund. I've never asked/ felt the need to ask for one before. The pork kimchi stew was less than half of a full order. The container was much less than half full and had almost no liquid. Had I known, I would have saved time and asked for a refund earlier. Needless to say, I was disappointed with the service and quantity of food. If you like horrible service, long waits, and small portions, this is the place for you. read more

After coming across their budae jigae (army stew) on their menu, I wanted to go all the way down to Memorial to give it a try since I am a huge fan of army stew and I wanna compare all the soups I have tried so far ever since I got more into Korean food this past year. The cashier was very nice and helpful when I asked her some questions about what is in the army stew since I don't care for specific ingredients like beans. After asking about the stew, I ordered it still but w/o beans and a toned down spice level. I was very surprised that my food came out pretty fast a few minutes after my order have been placed, and the cashier was also nice about getting condiments too! The army stew was very flavorful and the broth was surprisingly not spicy but still warm if the spice level is toned down upon request. Overall, the service and the food are great and this will be my new spot to order food in the food court inside the H-Mart Memorial location! :) read more

Not sure when Bibijo was replaced by this place but I was at H-Mart to pick up some lunch for my mom. Looks like they offer the same stuff so I was able to make up my mind pretty quickly. I ordered the bibimbap topped with bulgogi to go. What I love about this place is I can shop for groceries whilst my order is being prepared & as usual, the order was boxed & ready to go when I was finished shopping. I love this dish. Rice topped with thinly sliced marinated beef with an array of seasoned/sauteed/pickled veggies: mushrooms, daikon, spinach, carrots, cubumbers, mung bean sprouts & topped with a fried egg. Spicy soybean paste on the side with steamed broccoli & kimchi. This dish travels well, mom & I dug in when I got to her house. The mix of flavor is what I love about this dish. The spiciness of the paste & kimchi, tarty crunch from the sprouts & daikon.... Really, really tasty & very satifying. Service is always friendly & dishes come out piping hot & fast! read more

Bad. I came on a Tuesday night around 7 o'clock. They didn't seem to have many customers. I ordered a Hot Stone Bowl with Teriyaki chicken and a Stir Fried Noodle with Bulgogi. When the food came out, they had forgotten to provide the extra bean sprouts that I requested for my hot bowl. That was only the beginning of the disappointing meal we were provided. My son's stir fried noodle with Bulgogi was served in a stone bowl, and the entire amount of food filled only about a 1/3 of of its capacity. It contained a meager amount of noodles, about 1/2 a cup or less! The dish was not seasoned well, and the meat was tough and fatty. My son was very upset to see such a meager amount of food - less noodles than in a packet of store bought ramen with almost no flavor. When I approached the people behind the counter to let them know that we did not find our meal good value and we were very disappointed with it, they did nothing and we were left to deal with what we had. My son ate my dinner and I ended up getting something outside on my way home. We definitely will not be back. read more

Went here for the first time for lunch on a Sunday and service was a joke. Ordered 2 items and waited almost an hour. Both items were also ordered by other customers and they received their food much quicker. Cashiers kept telling me "sorry but there are other orders we're trying to make", which is both irrelevant and unacceptable. They had given food to 15 other customers by the time ours came out. When I asked again, they said they were waiting on rice. As if none of the 15 other customers after us ordered rice. At a Korean restaurant. To make matters more comical, when it finally came out, our "braised pork kimchi stew" looked like a half portion and had about 2 drops of liquid. I came to H-Mart with my boyfriend because I heard their food was really good. He brought me to Ziggle-Ziggle... and girl I am so glad he DID. We ordered the Spicy Pork Belly combo and another but with squid. The portion sizes were huge and the quality of the dishes were so so delicious. They were extremely generous with how much spicy pork belly I was given. The spicy pork belly was so tender and melted once in your mouth. I'm a petite 5'1 girl and I ate every single bite! I literally had daydreams about this meal days after I ate it. The side dishes were so fresh and the employees were so kind!!! Omg and great kimchi. I left more than satisfied and I'm definitely coming back. Underrated Korean restaurant for sure. Give it a try!!!! read more
