Came in on Christmas Eve with some friends on a whim and enjoyed some amazing dumplings egg rolls and stir fry. The restaurant is brightly lit and the customer service was curt and to the point. Place is also BYOB too which we participated in. When it comes the dumplings, I'd call them grandma style meaning they're not like Michelin rated but more comforting and tastes like someone's grandma made em, and saying that as a total compliment. The shrimp dumplings were very shrimpy and the texture on the wrapper was really nice. The soup dumplings had a lovely broth inside. The pork and chive dumplings were delicious with the table side chili oil. My wife said her egg rolls were the best she's had in a real long time. The Szechuan chicken was a little under seasoned but the sauce and texture on the chicken was really nice. The sizzling beef with black bean sauce benefitted with a little extra soy sauce and chili oil but was very enjoyable. Overall a really nice experience.

We had dim sum lunch with our friends here and found the dim sum served here quite good. The prices too were very reasonable. And the service was with a warm smile! We will be back soon!

Y'all it's been a while! I'm coming at you with another review! Today we will be vine checking Zhangs Kitchen. Now it's been a while since I've had dims sum so of course you know I had to hit up the squad to come through and enjoy a meal. I have to tell you we definitely ordered a lot. When I say family style, this was the real deal. Food was good! Honestly I had better. All I gotta say is get the duck man. That thing came out with sparklers!! Will be back!

Found out that Zhang have the durian pastry as well so we decided to dine in here one Sunday. It was busy from the church crowd. Luckily, there was 1 booth available left at the time of our arrival. We ordered our usual plus some other items to try. It was decent and plentiful. Rey comparable to the other dimsum places I have been to. Definitely an addition to the rotation.

We arrived at 11:30 on a weekday, not too busy but by the time we left at 12:30, the place got busy. We're still in search of a good dim sum place, not this place! We order the usual dim sum stuff, the shrimp rice roll was too thick and not much flavor! The steamed spare ribs was a too big and not much of the black bean sauce flavor! The chicken feet had a nice flavor but it was not hot! The bbq steam buns were ok but the filling was too mushy! If you really want some dim sum, it's ok to try it!

This is a nice place to have dim sum. All dim sum dishes tasted good. The calamari had too thick of breading, and I didn't like much. The AC was not fully turned on and I was sweating sitting next to a window. I think all the authentic good tasting Chinese places have average 3 stars because the locals don't want others to come and taking up space. Also because those restaurants typically keep customers coming back because of the actual Chinese food, and not the service or ambiance.

Let me preface this review by saying I've had a LOT of dimsum. But this place is one of the best I've ever had. The Ambience is awesome for big parties like ours was tonight. The servers are so sweet and friendly! The portion sizes are GENEROUS. The flavors are out of this world. Try the eggplant and thank me later, guys! In fact, Try everything!!

I think this may the only all day dim sum in the area. (FYI no carts during the dinner service but I believe they have them at the normal lunch times on weekends.) Very solid dim sum with all the classics, plus a lot of variety in the a la carte menu. We thought the roast duck was very good. Good prices! We ordered a ton & it ended up being about $28 a person.

Tried Zhang's Kitchen for lunch today and really enjoyed the food. This casual, family-owned spot is tucked into a strip mall and serves comforting Chinese dishes and handcrafted dim sum. We loved the shu mai, shark fin dumplings, and crab and fish maw soup. They also sell frozen dim sum up front if you want to take some home. Just a heads-up, there's no dim sum cart service. You have to order everything through your server. Unfortunately, the service was the only downside. We were seated and then completely forgotten. We had to flag people down multiple times just to order. The food was great, but the service definitely needs some work.

Loved it! It's been a while since I've been to dim sum but I was looking for a place that had thinner outer layers and generous portions of filling and they totally lived up to it. My favorites were the ham sui gok, it was crispy but still chewy and not too thick and the fried taro which had a lovely crunch and didn't taste like a mouthful of starch. The service was so good too, we were checked up on constantly and they kept taking away all our empty dishes, which really helps when you're eating dim sum. They don't have cart service but I love that they have the paper marker type of ordering. Can't wait to go back!

Came for Din Sum. Staff is very nice but the dim sum is bland. Tried 4 different flavors. Some of the flavors didn't seem to have soup inside. The ones they did had bland soup. The meat was flavored just okay. The ambiance of the restaurant is nothing special and not much was invested in the decor.

Okay, we've had mixed experiences here. Our food, this time, came out in reverse order (i.e. the dumpling last). The Singapore noodles and beef flat noodles did not come out together. It was properly was about an 8-10 minute waiting game. The Singapore noodles: 5/5 (these are absolutely amazing) Beef flat noodles: 4/5 (pretty good but not life altering & nowhere near as good as Uncle Zhou) Pork soup dumplings: 4/5 (most of the broth was absorbed into the dough by the time it got to us) Pork Shumai: 0/5 - these were essentially tough meatballs in a dumpling wrapper. Just not good. Service was clearly mediocre as they could not get our food out in order or stage placing the order so we would not get our entrees ahead of our dumplings.

The food speaks for itself. There aren't many items on the dim sum menu, but every item is nicely made. I like their beef balls, shrimp dumplings, and shrimp+pork dumplings (燒賣). They're all very fresh and tasty. I also like their rice rolls with your choice of fillings, such as fresh or dry shrimp, beef, bbp pork, or egg. The rice rolls are soft and chewy. What I really like about this place is that their steamed dim sum is made to order, so everything comes out hot, juicy, and flavorful. They also have congee 粥 (with thousand-year egg and pork) and beef noodles. Last but not least, I always get their hong kong milk tea. This is the only place I get hk-style milk tea from. I'm from that city. So I know how this iconic beverage tastes :) The staff are nice and friendly. One thing: they don't take credit cards. So bring some cash with you before heading there.
