I came to the Plano location for the grand opening because I had won a giveaway for a free drink! The interior is so cute and there were a lot of people in line. Upon standing in line, the cashier was super friendly and was great at giving recommendations! I ordered the mangonada, which is one of my favorite drinks! I got it with a tamarind straw instead of the mango fan, because I like to munch on the tamarind while drinking it! Like the cashier said, the mangonada was too sweet. It actually almost had an artificial and sugary/grainy taste which I did not like at all. The mango chunks were too big and it was hard to eat those as well. There wasn't as much chamoy as I wanted there to be as well. The drink was just too sugary and unbalanced - I barely finished my drink. If you are looking for a good mangonada, I recommend going to Magic Cup! Their cha-mango is phenomenal. My boyfriend ordered the Strawberry Bliss and it was so good! I love fruity drinks and this was just the right amount of sweet for me. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that is unsure on what to order! I know I'll be getting this when I go back! Overall, I loved the interior and I think they have a great selection of drinks - you just have to find the right ones. I recommend everyone try this out at least once! The elote tasted super sweet , elote is supposed to be sour and salty . The corn tastes like it's from a can . I could have made it better myself from home with a bag of hot Cheetos lol . Zero Degrees was such a good experience! Drinks came out super quick. The lychee crush was super refreshing for a hot day! The classic milk tea was really sweet but it wasn't terrible. The matcha milk tea was really good and well mixed, as some boba places still had the powder which makes the drink super gross. Boba is soft, chewy, and sweet! This was my first time at this place and it was very cute inside with a line that reached all the way to the door. I got their Mangonada, which seemed to be their best seller, with a tamarind straw and mango swirl. I would have docked this place a star for its rude employee who took my order, but this Mangonada rendered me blind to unsatisfactory service. The Mangonada was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy, and I've had it in the past at other places but this by far was the best I've had. I also had the Chilotes, chicharones with elotes and Flaming Hot Cheetos dust. I follow the company's instagram place and have been wanting to try the place out for a while. Went here a few days ago with a friend. Has a modern look and feel. Customer base skews young-- first thing I noticed was literally every single person here looked like they were in high school. Must be a consequence of their social media presence. Ordered a thai tea with boba and the carne asada fries. My friend ordered the a cookie milkshake. Total was a whopping 20 dollars. The thai tea was good, and my friend liked the shake. On the other hand, we did not enjoy the fries very much. I guess since this place is kind of asian fusion, they use that flavor profile, but the carne asada fries just tasted weird. I assume it was because of the pickled vegetables, but it was overpowering and just tasted off. The most disappointing thing was when I asked for hot sauce for the fries, the response was "okay, it's 25 cents extra." You would think after ordering something (9 dollar fries at that), condiments would be included and not an extra fee. All in all, there are better places to get boba tea and snacks and at a cheaper price. This is my go-to for the MANGONADAS! it's so good w/ extra chamoy too. Even though mine always comes w/ hard mango chunks, it's still a very good drink. The GARLIC NOODLES were amazing & so were the CARNE ASADA FRIES, the give a great portion of each. The staff is friendly & will re-do your drink if you're not satisfied. I had to do this when the boba came out hard, but it was fixable so i'm glad they were nice about it. It's usually very busy in the evenings but good thing there's outside seating. Being from California where the original location is I was very excited....until I got my order. I paid for extra boba and the rude staff didn't tell me until after getting my drink that they were out. They didn't bother giving me my money back either. The elote was disgusting. Update: we went back for a second time and I have to take off a star, it wasn't nearly as busy and I ordered the same garlic sriracha wings and what they gave me was not the same AT ALL. It was like honey w chili flakes.. I asked if this was sriaracha garlic and they said yes... so ??? It was NOT good. Sad day as I had taken a lot of ppl w me to try the wings :( drinks were still good. Wish you could customize sweetness want to give this place low stars so it won't be as busy but it was so good so I have to be honest!!! We had the watermelon slush , garlic sriracha wings w fries & veggies and the split cup strawberry limeade and Thai tea. Food was hot and fresh, drinks were fast and delicious. Not a typical boba place where you can choose ice level, sweetness level or a million flavors but still a good variety and some that are unique to this place. TONS of people were getting the mangonada but if you don't like that you can get the sliced mango on any drink for an extra dollar. We will be back! While the Frisco location is closer to home, I happened to venture out this way and found this new outpost of Zero Degrees in Plano. While I've mostly heard of ZD's split cup drinks, I was in the mood for a snack during my visit. So I had to try their chicharrones-elotes dish, and it did not disappoint taste-wise. Freshly-cooked crackling pork rinds covered the hot elotes, making it a novel way to spoon corn. I only wish the rinds were cut just a tad bit smaller for a better corn-to-rind ratio. Unfortunately, because of the volume the rinds take up, ZD can't really pack this up well in their existing containers, so better to dine-in for this snack. read more

I normally enjoy visiting this location for drinks but I had the worst experience today. I am signed up for their emails and purchased a gift card that was advertised to be 20% off at this Plano location. However, when I tried redeeming it, one of the cashiers rudely told me that it was not accepted at this location even though the promo email clearly said Zero Degrees Plano. There were no small print that said it can only be redeemed between a certain date or time of day. This is false advertising and now I have a useless gift card that they do not accept. read more

Came here before to order jasmine milk tea and it was very good. I love the taste of jasmine on the tea. Came here the second time to order pina colada, it was not bad but pretty blend, would love to have more favor in it not just the sugar. Pay attention to the reviews regarding the AWFUL customer service! TERRIBLE experience at this particular location. The husband and I usually go to the Richardson location however we were in Plano and decided to make a quick stop and order some food and drinks. We ended up ordering the Popcorn Chicken (salt and pepper) and 2 house coffees. The popcorn chicken was okay, it had the texture of calamari, and thankfully we like calamari because we did end up finishing the chicken, we won't be ordering that again though. As for the drinks, the house coffees that we received were DISGUSTING. We always order the house coffees, and never before had an issue with the taste. The ones we received tasted bitter, as if the dairy in the coffee had gone bad, and the actual coffee tasted burnt. After a couple of sips, stirring the coffee around to see if the cream made the coffee taste better, I decided to talk to the cashier to see if he could either remake our drinks or trade them in for another one. They did not. At first he told us that it was just how they tasted. After I informed him that we ALWAYS order the house coffee, and we had just had one the day before in the Richardson location and those didn't taste bitter or burnt, he changed his story and informed us that they had changed the coffee. When I asked him if they brewed the coffee in house, they informed me that they did, so I asked when that coffee had been made because it tasted burnt/old. He couldn't give me an answer. Deciding it was best not to push that subject anymore, I asked him if we could maybe have something different because my husband and I had only had a sip of the coffee and decided we couldn't drink it. The cashier told us "No, I can't change it for anything else." I told him both drinks were completely full, and we could give them back to him to throw away (we're not trying to get 4 drinks here) to which he replied "You can just throw them away." Wow. Wow. Wow. Never have we ever had such awful customer service at a food location before. Usually, when a customer pays for something and the taste is off, the establishment is considerate enough to either remake it, or offer you something different. What does Zero Degrees tell you? Love love love this place! Out of all the cafes that sell boba drinks this place has the best drinks. Plus the interior is very cute and friendly. They also sell popcorn chicken which is pretty good. And their Cajun fries are phenomenal, the seasoning is on point. I would strongly recommend the pink lychee drink. It has the perfect amount of lychee and strawberries. This place is your standard boba joint. However, their difference is that they have a stylish, modern interior; they offer food, and they have a selection of different bottles you can order in. This includes a split cup, a milk bottle, a travel bottle, or a mason jar. Of course you can just get your regular plastic cup. Their selection of drinks is actually quite small compared to others, but I suppose this is mostly because of the other food they have on their menu. I ordered the mango slush (not the mangonada), and the flavor was really good. They supplied LOTS of boba. However, I must say this place is incredibly pricey. I think I paid 10 bucks for my drink. I did order it in a cute mason jar though. But for a large boba drink in a regular cup, you're looking at around 6 dollars. read more
