The drink here is really unique and really good. The line was long because this place just recently opened up. We had to wait about an hour just to get the drink and took another 10min for the drink to come out. The drinks are kinda pricey but for the amount of food is worth it. We got coconut drink which came in a whole coconut and grape drink which had green grape decoration on top. The coconut drink tasted exactly like coconut and had coconut fillings inside. It was really refreshing and tasty. The grape drink had cheese foam on top which went well with the drink and had grape juice/jelly on the bottom which was refreshing. New boba shop located on Newbury. Honestly speaking, Newbury Street does not need any more boba shops. But Zero& really exceeded my expectations. I was a little upset that they didn't have the drink that I wanted to try as they were sold out for the day (at around 4/5pm?!). I wanted to try the matcha tornado since I took a sip of my boyfriend's drink when he got it with his friends. Ordering is very simple so service moves pretty fast. My friend got the coconut drink with the low sugar option and I got the mango pomelo drink. Both of our drinks were very refreshing and definitely something I could keep coming back here during the summer. The ambiance is super casual but the wait times seemed absurd. We waited about 15-20 minutes for our drinks, but granted we did come here on a weekend and they were also making online orders as well. They offer a sit down area and they also have small cake boxes that you can order. Again, the ones I would have wanted to try were sold out. Only reason why I'm giving this place a 4/5 stars is that there were a lot of items that were sold out and it was not even close to closing. But overall, I would come back. read more

A bit overly hyped in my opinion. The flagship coconut zero is just ok - coconut flavor is not that strong, too much coconut jelly but not really coconut meat, not as good as some others in the area (won't name the store name here, but happy to point you to the best coconut slush location!). The two grape is a still pretty sweet even with less sugar, and the milk foam tastes a bit weird. Coco mango may be the best among those I tried, but not impressed in a way that you can't get similar thing else where. read more

They specialize in many unique, complex boba drinks so a bit of a higher cost than other boba cafes in the area. The cafe has a clean, modern, and futuristic aesthetic. While it seems like there's a lot going on with the drink, all the layers of the drink blended very well together. Zero& is replacing April 23, right under the dirty water dough company on Newberry Street. The name says it all, they use zero calorie sweetener in all their drinks. I ordered online on a Sunday afternoon when it surprisingly wasn't busy. It took about half an hour for my order to be ready for pickup. I ordered Ube taro with boba and pink guava Oasis. The cups are very sturdy and have peel open lids like the ones you'd find eating yogurt. The Ube taro was good with small bits of taro that went well with the chewy boba. The guava was slightly tart and not too sweet. They also sell small cakes and pastries (croissants & sweet bread) that I'd like to try next time. On their cups they have scratch off codes for you to enter in their app for coupons and deals for next time. You also get a free drink when you download and order through the app. There are only a few tables, so think of this as more of a take out place. Overall, a nice addition to newbury Street. read more

My go to bubble tea drink is always the classic milk tea but this cafe didn't have it. It was a sign to try something different and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the matcha tornado which is essentially a matcha milkshake with Oreo crunches. It was pretty sweet and filling, and there was only one size (large, $7.75). After taxes it was $9.08. Since the cafe is located on Newbury St, it's a little pricier, but definitely worth it! Overall rating: 10/10 read more

Y'all, this place is popping (read: long lines). One time I came, and the two drinks I wanted had sold out and it was only early afternoon. Another time, I came when it opened and the boba wasn't cooked yet so that seemed like an oversight. The plus side is that the drinks ARE good and so is the service. I went on a Thursday around 5pm. There was no line, so I ordered everything from the kiosk, which is convenient. However, the two employees standing at the front did not bother to give any greetings of "hello" or "welcome to ..." I got the Thai drink that had Oreos in it. I ordered it with extra Oreos. I barely tasted any Oreos in it. The Thai drink itself is nothing special. It tasted like any other Thai drink you can get anywhere else. I got one of their mini cakes and i really enjoyed the taste of that. Though the cream left a weird thin residue film on the roof of my tongue. The round bread with cheese in it was my favorite. Tasted savory and sweet. Lots of oozing melted cheese, which I loved. However, their croissants with the ham and cheese tasted and looked very underwhelming. read more

It wasn't too sweet and it tasted like natural fruit which is wild. The lychee was also really good and it tasted like the actual fruit. The prices are on the higher end but I think that it is worth to at least try it once. I think that the drinks are refreshing after a salty meal or a hot day. The drinks also came out fast. The matcha boba was slippery and underdone, and an unpleasant experience. The staff often got orders wrong, and had to remake drink after drink. Because of this, it took over 25 minutes to get a single drink during NON rush hour. The drinks are well made and tasty however the service was poorly managed and extremely slow. It took me ~40 mins from the time I placed my order on the one working self-serve tablet (out of 2) to get my drinks. All the employees were focused on completing the orders rather than delineating someone to alleviate the growing line of incoming customers. It was a Saturday afternoon and the service was so poorly managed that the store was packed with customers waiting for their orders. Apparently this is a recurring problem as I found out when speaking with friends who also has similar experiences. I saw a customer who had to return her korean cheese bread because the cheese was still frozen. Will I go back? This place made one of the nastiest boba drinks I've ever tasted. There is a reason why I have never heard of this place even though they have locations on the west coast where boba is really popular. It's because there are so many better options. The first problem was that they ran out of their only milk tea option. How do you run out of the most classic and popular drink at a boba shop?? I had to drink something else because I had hopes that this place would taste good. The next problem is their boba. It was so starchy and it tasted like the pre bought instant boba that you get from Chinese supermarkets for $3 a pack. It was so nasty and did not taste like good boba at all. I have no idea why there is always such a long line to buy a drink from this place because it was so nasty. I will never come back to this location and you shouldn't either.
