The " Birthday Cake " Milkshake

Food came out in 4 minutes. I dined in ,clean, layout ok ,not overcrowded at all.Betty was so amazing, well informed of the menu and suggested I try their Birthday cake milkshake. Made my evening.

I was excited to try this place. I love chicken fingers and they look crispy, just the way I like them. I ordered a finger and wing meal. And my husband got a sandwich. It took 20 minutes for my food to come out. Then another 10 minutes for him. 30 minutes for fast food is way too long. The fingers were great. The wings were cold. I'd go to a Zaxby's again, but just get fingers.

    6 piece chicken finger combo.

I had to wait 10 extra minutes for my food to be paler than my skin. At this point, the staff just gave up ‍ The tenders are not tendering for $14. My toast is a piece of bread out the pack. I think I'm good on coming here again, love. Y'all take care.

Came across this Zaxby's before opening day! They were having a family & friends day only but they let us in. I thought it was very nice of them especially since we overheard the manager telling the employees not to let people in without an invitation :) oops. Great food as always is the case with Zaxby's. Service was slow but this is the case with all new employees and staff. But they were friendly. Check it out!

Not up to Zaxby's usual standards

The restaurant was clean, but the food quality and freshness was disappointing. The staff were polite.

ZERO seasoning on fries.... also didn't have any diet soda but I am just very disappointed with the lack of seasoning.

These are a must try if you like wings. Chicken and pancake tacos were delicious. Pancakes had a touch of sweetness. Fried chicken inside with a spicy mayo. Topped with a strawberry salsa that worked well. 3 of these were very filling. Fun and very good. Son had the double wide footlong. Topped with sloppy Joe. After that the 2 sides were different. One had fried banana peppers. The other side more classic with toppings. Son said it was really good. Others had the ahi tuna salad. Tuna was perfectly rare. Salad was good and the wasabi dressing had great flavor without being too spicy. Service was quick even though jam packed. Also very friendly.

The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.

Upon entry, there was a bar and it was very crowded and a little loud. But everyone was super friendly (and respectful) and seemed to be having an awesome time. (Might have stopped in if the entire family hadn't been with me!) A short walk down the hall was Betty Bombers...all real American food. The artwork was awesome, especially since both of my grandfathers were in WWII, and some of it looked familiar. The table ordered everything from salads, to a HUMUNGOUS hotdog for the kid (he originally wanted two and the waitress told him to start with one LOL), cheeseburgers, a pastrami sandwich, and a ration size portion of steak and cheese fries for me. I really liked how they offered smaller portions for a lot of their items, especially since we had a huge lunch. Everyone's food came out but mine. When I pointed it out to the waiter (who didn't take our order), he went to check and said it was his mistake and he would bring it out shortly. It took less than five minutes to come out and he offered me a milkshake for the wait. I had already had Leopold's that day but my cousin hadn't so he got a Mint Chocolate Chip milkshake. He really liked it. All of the food was good. I wanted to point out that my steak and cheese fries said ribeye and queso in the description. Yes, that was probably ribeye (it was tender and delicious) and while it was technically queso, Cheez whiz would have been a more apt description. That's ok, because it was good. Overall, a wonderful experience. I really liked how the waiter took accountability and fixed it. Very much appreciated. I would 100% return.

We will definitely be coming here again, loved the food! We had the small size onion rings, I can't remember what they call it, but definitely a small serving. The sandwiches were big though. I had the beef brisket sandwich with country gravy and I cannot rave over it enough! A very substantial sandwich, I couldn't finish mine. He had the Buffalo chicken sandwich, also wonderful. We both had the coleslaw, a very generous portion! From now on, this will be THE stop for lunch out at Forsyth Park!

One thing that could be improved is the posted dining room hours. The restaurant posted that they close at 7:30 PM, so we were surprised that we weren't able to dine in when we arrived at 6:30 PM. It would be helpful if they could clearly indicate the hours for the dining room separately from the overall closing time so customers know what to expect. We decided to give it a try and ordered the fried chicken, mac & cheese, green beans, potato logs, New Orleans rice, and the original cornbread. Everything we had was absolutely delicious, but the fried chicken and cornbread really stood out. The cornbread was so buttery and delicious! We both love fried chicken and have tried so many different versions, but the fried chicken here is honestly the best we've ever had. It was perfectly seasoned, not just the skin, but the chicken itself was flavorful all the way through. If you love fried chicken, this place is definitely a must try! Just don't come here too hungry because the food can take quite a while to come out. We waited almost an hour for our takeout order. It was definitely worth the wait!

The gumbo came out at room temperature, so I had to send it back just to have them heat it up. Honestly, it tasted like it came straight from a can with a few extra ingredients thrown in. The brisket was dry, and at the very least, some BBQ sauce would've helped. The mashed potatoes tasted like they came straight out of a box. The Mac and cheese was mid. The fried chicken was okay--nothing amazing, but it was probably the best thing we had. And the service... oh boy. The girl didn't even seem to know that gumbo is supposed to be served hot. That pretty much says it all to me. Overall, definitely not a place I'd would ever go back to. Lesson learned never go to a soul food place that looks like a chain restaurant.
