Went Saturday to eat, drink and watch the Georgia football game. We were seated right away. There are TVs everywhere! When we were seated there were TVs to our left and to our right. One tv that was close had golf on. Since it didn't appear that anyone was watching golf, our server changed it to the GA game. Our food came out fresh and hot. And the best part of the evening was our server Noah. What a great personality he has. He was so friendly, got our order correct and checked on us just the right amount. I stopped into the Savannah Tap House for the Repos and Renos and I was really surprised at the inside and how big it was, I had no idea it was 2 floors. The event was held upstairs and they really set the tone. All the tvs went to the movie at 7pm. It was the perfect atmosphere for a date night or girls night out. Our trip started with lunch here based on recommendations from the hotel staff. We were looking for some fried chicken and while they have a sweet tea fried chicken on their menu, the server recommended the fried pork chops. We got the pork chops and said that they were very good as the breading was more of a Panko breading versus a regular breading. The downside was for hot sauce. Their choice was either Tabasco or Tabasco Sriracha. Really wish they would've carried some Frank's red hot. Mashed potatoes were good as well. I wanted something white so opted for the burger sliders. What I love about the burger sliders is that they are definitely cops on the flat top grill so they get that nice little crust on them. We stopped by after making a reservation on Open Table. (9:00 on a Friday). It's basically a sports bar; so kind of busy. (USA Women 's Soccer was on.). We got a tiny table for 2 next to the staircase. It was fine; but almost impossible to get through past the bar and high-tops to use the bathroom. We had to wait a bit for menus because they were all out. We ordered some beers in the meantime. I read some reviews and went with the Sweet tea fried chicken since it was unusual, (very southern) and highly recommended on Yelp. It was very good, just sweet enough....and a large portion with 2 boneless chicken breasts. It also came with a big mound of mashed potatoes. No complaints and I took one whole breast home for lunch the next day. My husband had the Buffalo chicken sandwich with waffle fries. He enjoyed it and finished the whole thing. Overall it was a good meal and service was surprisingly fast considering how crowded it was. Prices were very fair. My only complaint is that I booked my reservation on OpenTable and even checked in with the hostess. The next day OpenTable marked me as a "no show," which they later fixed for me. I still have dreams about the sweet tea reduction on their sweet tea fried chicken. It was so good, I ordered it twice. The key lime pie was also pretty great.
