I am so sorry, I don't remember his name but I am sure he was the manager and he told us his name a few times. I have always been horrible with names, so to him, my apologies. He took care of us from the moment we stepped in the door. He introduced us to the menu, recommended the #3 so we get a taste of 2 types of chicken, explained the sauces and the comparison between the spiciness of them and also recommended for us to mix the Dave's sauce with honey to get a little sweetness with our chicken and fries. Huge accommodation! Truly appreciated the help. We paid for our meals thinking wow($36!) , not sure if we will return. Well, let me tell you, we received our food and oh my goodness!! Our meal had a chicken slider(we got mild) and then the chicken tender served on bread(also, mild). I love crinkle fries, so that made my day and a side of Dave's sauce in a container and a small stack of pickles(which I was so happy they were NOT bread pickles!) Enormous plus!! LOL!! I got to the store about 12:45 and they had a few people in line about half the tables inside were full and just one or two tables outside were taken. I got in line and the line was moving pretty slowly. From what I could see the slowness was due to someone in the kitchen shouting orders to the cashier, through the service window. This happened two or three times while I was in line. Right before it was my turn to be served, which had taken me probably 8 to 10 minutes to get from fourth in line to next up, another order came in for a hot box and other stuff. Not sure exactly what is in a hot box but the order was for over $100. Once the cashier got done with that order, I asked if it would slow down my order as I was in a rush and had to be back on the road. She informed me it wouldn't as they have two lines set up in the kitchen. I placed my order and asked for it To-Go as I had already been there a while. After waiting a good 15 minutes, I asked the lady who was staging the orders if I was anywhere near to getting my order. Her first response after looking at the list was "No, it will be a while." I told her I was in a hurry and had to get going. She then said it will be out soon. Let's just say, I had time to refill my drink twice, and I was not drinking it quickly, so probably another 6 to 8 minutes. I went to ask again how much longer it would be and I know she saw me coming towards her and she turned away and went into the kitchen. At that stage I got back in line for the cashier, to ask for a refund. After standing in that line for another three minutes, she had only served one person., with three or four people ahead of me I had run out of time, so I dropped my pager on the counter and walked out. If you like chaos and poor service then this is the place for you. I will probably try other Dave's Hot Chicken locations as I know they can do much better, but this location will never see me again. They were so slow and disorganized I swear they couldn't organize a party in a pub.

My go to dish here is the Half and half bowl with half chicken, half bulgolgi steak with rice and fresh steamed veggies. You can also add green onions for free and avocado is an upcharge, but certainly worth it if you are trying to get your healthy fats or just love avocado like me. You also get a choice of 3 sauces. They can all be the same or different. My favorite is the magic sauce, which is like a sweet teriyaki style sauce. I usually get two of those and one of the hotter sauces to add to my bowl before I devour it. Next time, I'll know to pay extra for an extra side of sauce so that I'll be able to have some to dip the fries into. They had packets of ketchup available on the counter and I used that this time.
